"Craftable Delivers Powerful Real-Time Inventory and Cost Visibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

Craftable has given us visibility into our business that we simply did not have before. Inventory counts and invoice processing are faster and more reliable, and we have quick access to real-time cost and usage data across multiple locations.

That information has changed the way we negotiate with vendors. We can now enter those conversations with accurate purchasing and usage history instead of relying on estimates or manually assembled reports. It has also made it much easier to identify when a store strays from its order guides and hold managers accountable.

The actual-versus-theoretical reporting gives us greater confidence when making menu, pricing and purchasing decisions. For example, we caught a significant increase in the cost of our mushrooms and were able to pivot to a different product quickly rather than discovering the problem after it had already affected several accounting periods. What do you dislike about Craftable?

The initial setup was an absolute bear. Even with two very capable people working on implementation part-time, it took us nearly nine months to build and clean up the system to the point that we could actively rely on its data.

Craftable is capable of producing incredibly useful information, but that output depends on investing real time in recipes, products, purchasing data, inventory practices and team training. It is not a plug-and-play solution. The implementation burden was substantial, although the quality of the information we now receive has made that investment worthwhile. "Better Visibility and Control Across Multiple Locations"
5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

What I like best about Craftable is having everything in one place and being able to easily see what’s happening across multiple locations. It gives us better visibility into food costs, inventory, invoices, and purchasing without having to dig through multiple systems. The reporting also makes it easier to identify issues and trends quickly, which is extremely helpful from an above-store operations standpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

What I dislike about Craftable is that it can take some time to learn and navigate, especially for new users. Certain workflows are not always as intuitive as they could be, and making updates across multiple locations can sometimes feel repetitive. While the reporting is helpful, it would be nice to have more flexibility and customization in some areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Restaurant Management with Cutting-Edge AI"
5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

I really like Craftable's ease of use. It's less clunky than other systems like Restaurant 365 or MarketWatch and is fast, quick, and efficient, which is crucial because we don't have time to spend clicking through menus. Craftable is the foundation of our restaurant operations, helping with inventory, cost management, and invoices. It keeps me ahead of trends by making it easy for me to understand and manage food costs. I also appreciate that Craftable is pushing the envelope, especially with its focus on AI, and I'm excited to watch its continued growth. The implementation process has become seamless and effective over the years, which has been a big improvement since I first started using Craftable eight years ago. Overall, Craftable has been instrumental in allowing us to make adjustments to our menu in response to fluctuating prices, helping us stay ahead of the curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

I think Craftable could improve in some detailed areas, particularly understanding how the AVT is working. It may need to adjust the software for restaurants that don't have a normal cadence in customer orders. For example, in barbecue restaurants, people often create their own menu by ordering meat by the pound, along with various sides and sizes, which is different from typical restaurant orders with just a few modifiers. This makes it challenging for Craftable's AVT to accurately model our menu. So, it would be helpful if Craftable could continue learning more about the industry and adapt to unique business models since not every restaurant operates the same way. "Saves Time on Invoices and Inventory, with Seamless QuickBooks Sync"
5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

It has saved us a significant amount of time when processing invoices for payment, helped us catch vendor price discrepancies, and synced with QuickBooks so we can ensure bills are paid on time. The inventory management features have also made it much easier to handle weekly inventory for key items, as well as our monthly inventory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

If you’re not a restaurant person, building recipes can be tricky when it comes to portioning items correctly. Once you understand how it works, it’s easy to add recipes and adjust them as needed, but the initial setup can take a little longer than you might expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Reporting and Recipe Costing That Keeps Us Up to Date"
4/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

It’s a very robust system with genuinely useful reporting. It’s also great for keeping recipe costing up to date and for vendor mapping. The AI is also a good feature for analysis even though it has a usage limit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

We have five different locations, and POS mapping can be very difficult when we’re dealing with five different menus. I think the integration with Toast could be improved so the mapping process is easier on our side. For example, we offer 14" and 10" pizzas, and “extra pepperoni” is a different portion depending on the size. However, in Craftable the modifier only shows up as “extra pepperoni” for both sizes, which makes it harder to map correctly. This affects our ability to rely on reporting, especifically theoretical vs actual which is something we would love to be up to date with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Inventory Control with Minor Editing Hiccups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

I like Craftable's ease of use for inventory management of alcohol products and disposable goods. It's great for adding invoices and managing products, as well as integrating information with outgoing products to accurately track how our month went and whether items were accounted for during the sales process. Although I don't use it often enough, primarily on a monthly basis, I appreciate that as invoices are linked to Craftable, I can easily see them alongside new products. It provides me control over ordering which reduces surprises. Also, once data entry is done accurately, it enhances the ease of use later on. I probably don't use it to its full potential, but as a small company, it meets our needs, and I look forward to growing with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

Some of the editing of items feels a bit clunky, probably because it has to be rigid in saving. I find it difficult to make adjustments to names or certain products once they've been inputted. It seems like I have to fully remove them from the system and then add them back in, which is a bit cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Invoice Mapping and Real-Time Cost Updates, Plus Strong Recipe & Batch Inventory"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

The mapping of invoices and allowing real time update of cost changes is great. Recipe building and batch usage in inventory is also a huge plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

Because we don’t map items with our POS, it can be annoying to have to do a fake transfer to get around an item being too little of stock when we need to make a batch. Also deleting wine items when the vintage is out of stock can be frustrating to have to rename the item before getting to delete it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortlessly Organizes Inventory & Menu Costing"
5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

Craftable is amazing for counting inventory each month and coming up with pricing for new menu items. It makes it super easy to cost out menu items and portions accurately. I love how it organizes everything, continuously learning and recognizing different items and invoices, putting them in the right places. The initial setup was super easy, and adding my supervisors to the app was straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

I think it would be nice if Craftable can recognize if too many items are similar and try suggesting to combine them together. Sometimes an item can be off by one letter, and it’ll count that as a completely different item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Orders and Invoices Keep Billing Accurate and On Time at a Low Price"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

The orders and invoices ensure that we pay bills correctly and on time. This allowed us to maintain a closed loop with procurement and accounting at a low price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

The integration process is taking a very long time. Mostly because we did not have our data prepared for input. This is a manual process performed by the users. I wish there was some level of Ai to help with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use UI with Seamless Integrations That Make the Switch Worth It"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Craftable?

Coming from a different platform, the first thing that sets it apart is the fact that the UI is so easy to work with. The integrations between all of our different platforms, including distributors, feels seamless. Support and onboarding takes time, but it's well worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Craftable?

Onboarding to Craftable would be much easier if a strict timeline were followed. I understand every situation is different, but having a plug-and-play, rough timeline from the get-go would help set expectations and minimize headaches along the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
