**What do you like best about ClickBid?**

We're SO excited to use the new Table Seating Chart Organizer feature this year.  As visual learners, we're grateful that ClickBid has moved in this direction, which we anticipate will help streamline our seating of over 700 guests.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

Sometimes the "New Software Updates" emails come a little fast and furiously ~ for me to keep on top of the changes can be daunting, especially as a generally "non technical" person.  Not sure that's something that can be improved upon; we appreciate the constant refinement!

**What problems is ClickBid solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the same platform year after year has made our auction stronger and more attractive.

**What do you like best about ClickBid?**

I like that ClickBid is extremely intuitive and easy to use. It has all the features that I need in a platform without being overwhelming. For my clients who use the platform only once a year, it gives them all the options they need, and it's extremely easy to explain. I made the switch from OneCause to ClickBid because OneCause was too complicated to relearn year after year, while ClickBid's fewer features actually made it more desirable. The initial setup of ClickBid was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

I wish there was an option to do a manual RSVP but then a "follow up for payment" option. I have one client that verbally sells the majority of their tables. In order not to oversell, I need to manually input these sales, but our accounting still needs to know that payment is pending. These clients don't necessarily need to be invoiced due to political reasons, but we need to track unpaid balances.

**What problems is ClickBid solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickBid is intuitive and easy for event registration, silent auctions, and fundraising. It's simple to explain to clients using it annually, with necessary features but not overwhelming. Switching from OneCause, ClickBid's simplicity is a major plus.

**What do you like best about ClickBid?**

The Clickbid customer service support staff are very knowledge and respond quickly to your concerns. Usually you are working with the same support staff year over year (an indication of a good organization that holds on to their employees). This is helpful because your customer service contact often remembers your unique situation and can better point you in the right direction. Plus it makes the experience more enjoyable to be working with someone with whom you can have a year over year relationship rather than a bot or an unknown person.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

The platform has not been fully put through its paces in hammering out all the details which could make the service highly functional to both customers and guest users. This can make it frustrating to use, if you are comparing the platform to the ease of use of squarespace or microsoft products or other online shopping carts. 
Here are our current annoyances: 

1. The invoice document is missing the vendor payment address and the invoice is not sent using pdf.

2. Several unique ticket pages can be used to segment your ticket purchases (sponsors, VIP, or other events, etc). However, you can only toggle on/off the credit card processing fees across the entire site, not by the ticketing site. 

3. The discount code on the ticketing site is not on the payment page, where it usually in for most shopping carts. Additionally, the total does not update until a user moves to the next page, so it is difficult to see that the discount has been correctly applied.

Clickbid makes it easy to flow from fundraiser ticket purchase to bidder.

**What do you like best about ClickBid?**

ClickBid helps us manage our event ticket and tables sales, all silent and live auction elements (including registering bidders), and all fund-a-need and donation transactions. The UI is easy and fairly intuitive, and best of all, their customer support is excellent.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

I like merging bidders for the auction, but I wish there was a way to unmerge bidders before transferring data to our donor database (SalesForce) and a better SalesForce integration, where I could specify how to map and code ClickBid data to our existing SalesForce opportunity fields

**What problems is ClickBid solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickBid helps us manage all aspects of our annual Gala fundraiser. We've used it for 6 years and it is consistently good, while making incremental improvements each year.

**What do you like best about ClickBid?**

What I like best about ClickBid is how easy it is to use — not just for organizers, but for guests too. ClickBid makes the entire auction process simple and intuitive, which is so important when you’re managing an event with a lot of moving parts.

From the admin side, the platform makes it easy to upload items, track bids in real time, manage guest check-in, and process payments all in one place. You don’t have to juggle multiple systems or worry about complicated setup — everything is streamlined and clearly laid out.

For attendees, the bidding process is just as seamless. Guests can bid right from their phones without needing to download an app, which removes barriers and increases participation. The interface is clean, mobile-friendly, and straightforward, making it easy for people of all tech comfort levels to engage.

Overall, it saves time, reduces stress, and helps events run more smoothly — which ultimately leads to a more successful fundraiser.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

One drawback of ClickBid is that while it’s user-friendly overall, some of the customization options can feel limited. If you’re trying to heavily brand your event pages or create a very unique guest experience, the design flexibility isn’t always as robust as you might want.

Additionally, certain features can feel a bit rigid once your event is live — making last-minute changes or adjustments isn’t always as seamless as expected. For teams that like to tweak details on the fly, that can be a little frustrating.

Finally, while the platform simplifies a lot, there can still be a learning curve for staff who are new to auction software, especially when navigating backend settings or reporting tools.

**What problems is ClickBid solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With paper bidding, people have to be physically near items and check back manually. That limits engagement, especially as events get busier.

Benefit: ClickBid lets guests bid from their phones — no app download needed — so they can participate anytime, anywhere during the event. More participation = more revenue.

**What do you like best about ClickBid?**

I use ClickBid for our fundraising events and text appeals. It is very easy to upload constituent information and export things out. I really like how easy it is to use for our donors, and how clean and easy to read the auction pages are. It's also very easy to make adjustments on the backend and the listings are fairly customizable. I love how great their staff is; when I have questions or issues, they always jump in and help. My concerns are taken seriously and my feedback has even been implemented, which makes a huge difference. It means the world to me that ClickBid's staff makes an honest effort to fix issues. Generic credit card swipers work seamlessly with ClickBid.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

I find there are a few small technical pieces that need some adjustment. Specifically, the exporting and reporting need more fields. I wish donor names would export on the auction export, as the current functionality isn't there yet due to field type issues. The integration with Raiser's Edge could be better too, with more mapping options being ideal. A lot of great data in ClickBid doesn't transfer if you only use the integration.

I use ClickBid for fundraising events and text appeals. It's user-friendly and affordable, benefiting both our donors and staff. The auction pages are clean, and ClickBid's support is responsive, quickly implementing feedback to improve the user experience.

It made our gala registration super easy - we had most of the 400 guests pre-register so there was hardly a line when the event began! And, we were able to share information about our raffle and silent auction prior to the event, which resulted in bids and raffle ticket sales prior to the Gala.

I wish there was an app for our guests to use to bid on items.

One thing I dislike about ClickBid, but completely understand, is that communication often comes through umbrella emails rather than personal ones. That said, they do a great job of protecting their employees and maintaining a strong, professional structure.

At first, we struggled with some of our older donors being able to use the digital format, but once they’ve been shown how it works, they do enjoy it.

It cuts down on the time employees spend trying to do everything by hand. It also takes care of the work of figuring out who owes what at the end of events, which makes the wrap-up much easier.

Having all your tools simply labeled and easily navigatable makes for a refined and stress-free experience.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

I would recommend having a simple "save" button when making changes or updates in most fields/tabs.  I believe it auto saves/updates most of the time (and there is the complete and go back button) but having that certainity and simplicity would be beneficial.  I also would add my vote for supplying a way to have auction items open at a specific time automatically.

Keeping everything organized in one space as well as automating alot of the ground work that would fall to the user.

Felt like I wasn't 100% prepared at the end of the silent auction, but it went great.

Previous software was a hassle to upload items and edit them. We wanted a more streamlined process. Clickbid delivered. It saved us a great deal of time in preparation and made the close of the auction a breeze to get items to winners.

Learning curve to get used to the back end where to find reports exactly.
Not sure if it could be more intuitive. 
Customization of appearance was pretty easy though.

With NY on Pause, we kept used primarily to have a benefit and auction items. 
Virtual as a need. We kept for the text to give option to use for other programs.

I like how easy it is to input information into ClickBid. Auction items, descriptions, and event details are all easy to edit and upload into the system.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

I dislike how the platform looks visually when it is live for our guests. I wish users had more editing power.

We solved the problem of hosting a fundraiser during a pandemic. It was easy for guests to participate and donate to our cause from the comfort of their own homes.

The instant "you've been outbid" notifications are tied with the speed of checking out our donors at the end of the night.

**What do you dislike about ClickBid?**

We have some constituents who aren't onboard with mobile bidding yet, but the "roaming butlers" or concierge bidders help mitigate it as an issue.  I was thrown by the Quantity Items the first time we used it to sell centerpieces because it said 20 were sold but only 16 people won.  Turns out some people won several.  

**Recommendations to others considering ClickBid:**

We love the day of event support (a dedicated person will take your calls throughout the event).  We looked at a number of software options and made the right choice with ClickBid.  I recently had another vendor contact me with a similar offering at more than double the price, which did not include any support.

**What problems is ClickBid solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more congestion at registration or checkout, plus easy reporting on the whole event at the close of the event, rather than at the end of the next business day, after we consolidate 4+ spreadsheets.

User friendly tool if you have to raise money for a fundraising event. It's easy to recognize the donors. Another plus is that the Customer Service is quite responsive. It's also easy to learn for the volunteers on your event.
