**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

I appreciate that Bettermode allows you to build your own community without having to rely on big platforms like Facebook or LinkedIn. It really helps in moving off these major platforms, so you aren't constrained by their preferences. It also feels great to create a private community without any interference from companies like Meta. Plus, I found it easy to set up.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

It's easy to set up and to maintain, anyone can get started without code. It took a while for me to understand the concept of building CMSs that are then applied to spaces/pages but after I figured it out, it worked like a charm. Overall, there's minimal time spent on setting up the platform so you can spend more time on creating content.

There are also many templates to choose from to get started. Their support team is extremely responsive and helpful in answering questions.

We use Bettermode so we could build a community forum that we use to feed it into our AI chatbot. New questions and answers are submitted on a daily basis because of the ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Bettermode?**

While many things can be customized, not everything can be. If anyone is looking for an extremely custom solution, I'd recommend resorting to building their own website.

We tried using Better mode for our product roadmap but there are a few limitations because of which we decided to use a different tool for that.

**What problems is Bettermode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us document use cases on how our users can use different integrations and features to e.g. get more visibility into their data, automate their reporting process, create strong overview dashboards for stakeholders, etc. This will help reduce support burden and create an additional resource for our AI chatbot.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

I discovered Bettermode while setting up my online learning platform for my business Ladies Build With AI, and it’s honestly one of the few tools I’m truly impressed with, all within their free tier. The platform is incredibly intuitive, easy to use, and actually fun to set up.

My students consistently compliment how smooth, fast, and user-friendly their learning experience is. Compared to other tools I’ve worked with (which often felt clunky, overly basic, or just boring), Bettermode stands out with its sleek design and wide range of customization options.

As a startup founder, I really value how flexible and supportive the platform is. It allowed me to bring my idea to life quickly and professionally. I can honestly say that Ladies Build With AI wouldn’t have gotten off the ground without Bettermode.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to build an engaging online community/platform!

I have nothing, just hope that Bettermode won't go aggressive on pricing and adding paywalls like other tools do.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

Bettermode is the easiest LMS I have come across, as well as being fully customizable. I appreciate that you can set up your entire account and website within a day, without the need for a mandatory sales meeting or a paywall. Bettermode has been perfect for my non-profit's Teen Chef Club, helping to bring the teens together and communicate recipes, as well as farmers market pick-ups. I utilized the event feature four times, made numerous announcements, created multiple forums, and built the website. It's worth noting that I do not have a techy background; I even struggle to implement a bot into Discord! You have the option to disable private chats and enable AI moderation with keywords. This was a key deciding factor in which LMS I went with, as well as the fact that you can have up to 50 registered members, including three moderators. I also appreciate that after I declined a meeting with a sales representative, they didn't continue to try to sell to me. In the future, if my organization gets the funds, I will encourage my boss to purchase a plan. Bettermode (as far as I know) was easy for the teens to use and made them feel more comfortable with each other, thus it was easily integrated into the already established Teen Chef Club.

**What do you dislike about Bettermode?**

I wish there were a way to create an assignment for participants that they could complete privately, maybe even be graded. Polls would also be fun! A way to view the site's version history would be great for editing, as it would allow you to see what you had and get things back.

**What problems is Bettermode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bettermode solved our problom of wanting to communicate and bring the teens together without a social media aspect, or unmoderated chats without a hefty price tag. Bettermode also made it so that everything was in one place. My team struggled during our first season of this program with motivating the teens and they felt disconnected, but this year people are even liking each others replies!

Helpful templates to get you started, then very easy to customise and make our own. Some easy to follow articles and videos to help us make the most out of bettermode, and yes of course they have a community platform to network with others building on Bettermode.

As I've developed my offer it's been easy to update the calls to action on the home page and customise the various spaces. Still happy with the platform and support.

**What do you dislike about Bettermode?**

Lot's of different add on options can feel confusing. You can add additional languages, CMS's and additional functionality costs extra charges but more functionality available to scale.

**What problems is Bettermode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building on someone else's social network like Facebook, Meetup etc is just building on someone elses platform and you run the risk of being kicked off and losing everything. I want to own the data, and have the ability to personalise it for our community.

I had never set up a community before, but from the beginning I knew bettermode was the way to go. I had the intuition before doing the scorecard they would end up at the top. Others were oriented towards B2C companies but Bettermode was easy enough to use out of the box with customization capabilities.

Cannot create surveys, they would be useful but still came up on top of the rest.

I appreciate that I am in control of the data for my community users and that nobody is making a profit off of their information. It is also fairly easy to build a community to your desired format. I have developed 2 communities in just a few months and excited to see what else I can create!

The system is sluggish more frequently than I would like, but, the features more than make up for this at the moment.

I'm still fairly new to Bettermode, but the fact that they have a community Wishlist that is constantly being addressed is really lovely.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

It has a nice design, it can be customized as a completely white label social network, and you can create different spaces. What I like the most are the templates available to create a space, and of course, gamification, which is extremely important for me. Out of all similar products, this one is the most suitable for what I’m looking for, mainly because it’s a powerful tool and the price is right. I also want to highlight the customer support, which is very quick.

The downsides might be that the platform has a learning curve if it's your first time using it. At first, it's difficult to organize everything the way you like, but once you learn it, it becomes easy

I'm impressed with Bettermode flexibility and ease of use. 
The platform's ability to create diverse pages with customized data models is a major plus. Many templates are ready made so it's easy to start from a portal that looks good from day 1.
It's incredibly intuitive, making it simple to build and manage our community space without requiring any special skill.
Support was timely and helpful when I needed it. 
And, it has it's own active community :)

Some of the addons are a little pricy, but the product is absolutely useable without any addon.

It's so simple to use, you get what are essentially building blocks to make your community platform with and then you can add more functionaility and custom features if you'd like to. I really like the design and layout of the platform and features, everything looks modern and clean. I love how you can make your own social media platform with Bettermode thanks to features like user profiles, messaging, and posts. I also love the team and community around Bettermode - Both are incredible.

**What do you dislike about Bettermode?**

This isn't a dislike, but I would love to see more social features included like group messaging and the ability to follow an account. But these aren't dislikes or hard requirements, I would just love to see this.

**What problems is Bettermode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to easily make a self-branded community platform. My MUST have when using a platform is the ability to brand it entirely and make it completely about my brand. Bettermode does this insanely well and lets you make your platform exactly as you want it. It's incredible.

Bettermode's utility lies in: Extensive customization (appearance, colors, functionalities and branding), Increased engagement through the variety of tools available: Forums, groups, events, live chats..., Statistics and integrations such as Make, Zapier...

Bettermode has one small drawback: we need to be able to convert our solution into a mobile app.

Bettermode enabled us to get an MVP very quickly without going through the long development process. We were able to get a social network up and running in a matter of days, with the added benefit for our future users of a landing page in their own brand image. 

This enabled us to have 2 solutions in one: a social network for businesses and a landing page for businesses.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

For our purposes, and our community, probably one of the most appealing aspects of Bettermode are the design tools and the editable CMS functionality. 
There are other features of course that are equally as interesting, but these two really facilitate rapid development with the result being a  very professional look and feel.
The integrations and ability to create custom apps is also quite useful to augment functionality and satisfy most any use case you can imagine.

**What do you dislike about Bettermode?**

I am not sure it is particular to Bettermode, but when one decides to use a no code platform there are always trade-offs. 
If there are features you would like to add where an integration is not available or practical you have no choice but to add it to a wishlist and wait. Of course depending on the importance to your use case this can be a bit frustrating.

We selected Bettermode to provide us with an online community building solution which would allow us to reduce our time to market.
From that perspective it has delivered and satisfied a large part of our expectations.

We appreciated the ease of setting up bettermode, as well as for the users - you don't want people getting stuck in order to on-board. The site uses blocks to build conversation spaces and features. Bettermode was easy to customize and brand as part of a seamless experience across our site.
Good API's and capacity to link into a CMS for further engagement and discussions. Customer support has been great.

Community development can be demanding - today's community engagement extends across other platforms as well, you cannot expect it all to take place in your spaces - it would be great for Bettermode to offer some training in developing community across platforms - wherever your people are living online.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

Making a cookie free, non tracked community that looks better than the current iteration of mega platforms without losing the community building features that matter. Profiles and member to member messaging makes engagement between members easy.

Lots of features work well for product development and networks. The platform is a great option for a multi passionate influencer or brand with multiple divisions that have different audiences.

Learning to build on a new platform has a learning curve no matter what. It didn't take any longer than the average community building platform. With time and focus, you'll learn how to navigate and build the look you want. Nothing that would hinder you from using the platform.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

Bettermode was the first tool I used actively for testing out and building a community. It was very easy to get around the tool and the interface is amazing. The implementation of my desired spaces and pages was very quick and successful. The customer support team is helpful and very responsive. I hope for continuous usage and I would always pick Bettermode for any future projects in regards to community setup and maintenance.

Currently, I can not see any downsides, to be honest, everything is working well. Maybe having a mobile app would be helpful for the admins and the users as well.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

The best thing about Bettermode is that I was able to offer my customers a platform that looks professional and is easy to use in a relatively short time and without tutorials.

Furthermore, as a programmer, I can implement all additional wishes and functions relatively easily with the custom code plugins.

In addition, bettermode itself offers a good evaluation of user behaviour and can work out-of-the-box with Google Analytics.

**What do you dislike about Bettermode?**

Sending the e-mail notification is problematic for me and my customers. 

As the email template cannot be customised, there are several problems.

1) The notification is not displayed correctly in some email programmes such as Outlook. 
2. the email is often filtered out by spam filters in the enterprise sector, e.g. because it contains a tracking pixel.

I've really enjoyed learning and using Bettermode. It's a great platform for building and hosting an online community. Lot's of features and it keeps getting better. I find the templates really great for seeing what is possible to create and also for innovative designs that I can incorporate into my own website. Customer support has been great also... they clearly use Bettermode for thier own community website, which is a great place to go for customer and community support.

Still missing some features but I've noticed that they continue (and seem dedicated to) add new features and continue to improve the user experience.

I absolutely love how easy Bettermode makes it to start your own community or even social media platform. It's so simple to get started with and build something semi-complex with, you choose how much it has on it. There are so many features and ways to use the platform that it makes it easy to get the exact experience you want. There's loads of integrations and possibilities with it. All in all it's a fantastic, easy to implement platform.

There is nothing I dislike about Bettermode. There's features I would like to see but I'm sure they'll come one day and either way they don't make me dislike it, they're just additional things I would like, such as the ability to make posts on your own profile vs in the community space as a whole.

I wanted to make a social media platform for people in my industry to connect together easily and I can't code so Bettermode solved that potential problem for me and gave me the opportunity to make exactly what I want, how I want.

**What do you like best about Bettermode?**

I like how easy it is to use the platform and create everything on your own, without depending on a developer. I like the variety of space types and post formats. I like the integration with external links, such as Youtube, Spotify, Canva and others.
I love the possibility of mass actions through automation and filtering on the admin side.
Support is very present and responds quickly. In general, the platform has worked well and members of my community have been able to use it in a simple and objective way.

**What do you dislike about Bettermode?**

I think improvements and launching new tools take a long time. Some things, in my opinion, are simple to apply but have been asking for over a year and have never been implemented.
Example: possibility of scheduling a publication, possibility of adding more mandatory fields when registering new members, application of automatic tags using pre-configured keywords, being able to send a private message to all members without depending on external programs, such as Zapier.
And another pain I feel is the Reports and Analytics part. Today I can't download the report data into a spreadsheet, which would make it much easier to put together the report I make here. I miss a view of engagement and data by Tags. And today, when I add new members to a space, it disrupts the view of Active Members for the period, the Reports understands that adding New Members to a space as the number of Active Members for that day.
Another point is the lack of visibility into the delivery, opening and click rates of emails sent to members, such as notifications. And on this point, the delivery of posts from my community is very low, and with almost 5 thousand members, the average number of views per post is in the range of 20-30 views, which doesn't make sense. And because I don't have access to post delivery data or email notifications, I don't know how to act in this regard.

Today bettermode made efficient management and execution of my brand's community possible. With almost 5 thousand members, we are able to communicate effectively with our customers and boost and train hundreds of service professionals here in Brazil, through content, events and exchanges in the Community.
I like how easy it is to use the platform and create everything on your own, without depending on a developer. I like the variety of space types and post formats. I like the integration with external links, such as Youtube, Spotify, Canva and others.

Bettermode is a very easy platform to use, both for Admins and users. The interface is clean and easily configurable. In terms of establishing an easy to use community for our clients, Bettermode has fit like a glove! 

The Bettermode support team are very helpful regarding improvements and even with specific requirements, they will try to make the upgrade when possible.

The analytics of Bettermode are relatively simple, which prompted us to explore integration with other data platforms for more detailed insights. While there was a slight inconvenience at some point when we were unable to export data directly, we found alternative solutions to address this challenge.

Before starting with Bettermode, we came across a few community platforms, but none of them fitted our requirements of simplicity and effectiveness. Our community has a higher age range, with Bettermode we've seen quite a high engagement, which was seen as a challenge for us. This couldn't have been done, if not the smooth interface provided by Bettermode.

Getting members to use it consistently is challenging. It's a good repository for information but it's not an effective way for members to communicate with each other.

We created an online Tribe group and it quickly became a community.  Our customers and employees are able to connect easily and it has made our organization stronger because of it.  Many of our community members are not on Facebook or other social media and they can all use our Tribe community, which they appreciate.

It used to be hard to remember passwords but tribe recently added SSO and Google/FB/LinkedIn sign in which makes it super easy for us.

The platform allows extensive customization. Amazing technical documentation and easy SSO configurations also made it easier to launch the community. We were also able to integrate the community into our existing tools and processes.

The biggest benefit of this platform is that it allows you to build solutions on top of the core solution. You can extend the functionality of the community simply by leveraging their developer platform.

**What do you dislike about Bettermode?**

This is not something I dislike, but I want to give a bit of advice - pay special attention to the technical documentation and make sure it is always up to date. Given the nature of the platform, without discipline in documentation, implementation can quickly become complex.

We are interested in creating a centralized online community for our customers so we can collaborate with them and help them engage with each other.
