**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

Very helpful when you are not familiar with the building and locations of assets and it keeps you up to date on work orders. It also allows you to keep good notes on prior work orders

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

Not having access to update assests. Also log-in process is too long. Mobile version needs to be more user friendly with an easier log in. Otherwise a very good product.

It keeps everyone up to date on projects.

**What problems is AkitaBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability  to track work orders and see what was done prior. Helps keep everything on schedule. Also being able to flag work orders that are taking to long to complete.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

I really appreciate the floor plans with asset tags on AkitaBox, as it has been the best feature for us. The quick and simple way of completing tasks is also a big plus. I find the ability to create user groups so they can only see predetermined locations incredibly helpful, especially since I run multiple teams that don't work in the same locations. The well-developed floor plan helps me direct someone to find something even if they've never been to that location. Additionally, the search ability for past work orders is something I find very useful.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

The work order creation needs the ability for the user to click on any spot and drop a tag to create a work order. If there is an issue like a light in a long corridor or a sinkhole in a parking lot, the user has to create a long verbal description instead of just clicking on a map and saying 'here is the issue.'

**What problems is AkitaBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AkitaBox to manage assets and preventive maintenance schedules. The floor plans with asset tags streamline training and reduce turnaround times. User groups and searchability of past work orders improve task management. It helps teams focus on tasks specific to their areas.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

The work order and service management features are among my favorite aspects of Akitabox. I am still exploring the capital management tools, but I have a feeling they will prove to be valuable as well.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

I would really like to see an option for our customers or clients to submit requests directly. At the moment, only users with an account can submit work orders or service requests. It would be much more convenient if clients could send in their requests, rather than just leaving comments or suggestions.

**What problems is AkitaBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AkitaBox helps solve problems related to disorganized facility data, reactive maintenance, and poor visibility of assets. It centralizes building plans, maintenance records, and asset locations into one platform, making it easier for teams to manage preventive maintenance, plan capital projects, and improve communication.

For us, that means less time tracking down information, fewer unexpected equipment failures, and better long-term planning for projects like roofs, HVAC, and lighting — ultimately increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

Our new contact Andi was very helpful in setting up a new building and existing building with a new floor plan.

Those outside of the maintenance department are able to put in requests from anywhere, and receive updates; saving us time in additional conversations. 

The asset logging feature is handy when working in buildings that one is not as familiar in.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

I would like to be able to have a way to delete assets without modifying the maintenance schedule or asset

AkitaBox puts everything together in one place. Assets, their schedules, and previous work can be looked up easily

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

What I like most about AkitaBox is how user-friendly it is. It allows the end user to intuitively use the platform to find the information they need quickly. It's helpful because it takes very little training to utilize the platform effectively. The setup was fairly easy, and I've had a lot of support from the AkitaBox staff with video calls to help us train on the platform and use it effectively.

I would like to be able to integrate GIS data with the platform. And as I understand, this is going to be a feature soon.

**What problems is AkitaBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AkitaBox to help our clients create accurate asset inventories and plan their capital expenditures.

I like that AkitaBox requires minimal training for new users, which makes it easier for my team to get started quickly. The initial setup of AkitaBox was fast, which really helped in getting things up and running without delay.

Our team was able to quickly access the platform and started uploading our information. Our client is happy with the results so far. We have a great support team from Akita on board too!

For new users, there might be some learning curves to adjust to the software. For others, its pretty straight forward.

We had a client ask for a specific set of criteria than included asset tracking, Uniformat series and an online collaborative tool that multiple facility managers can access. This platform provided all of those features!

Takes awhile for personnel to tend to issues.

**What problems is AkitaBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When personnel takes care of requests it is good. The platform is very specific and thorough in the information it asks for in order for the task to be tended to and taken care.  However, though I have not tried to see, does Akita Box have an app? If there is an issue, we usually scan the QR code and input the information. However, sometimes, an issue arises where persons may not be close to a QR code to input information that is needed.  Also, when a person veers off the site to maybe answer their phone, when returning back to the sight, the information that was input is now gone and it is hard to retrieve.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

I like the AB capability to store a lot of information about an asset or workorder.  It has a lot of great features for example one can print out weekly work schedules, one can upload pictures,

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

It's a web-based system and it takes several seconds to load or process click commands.    It's very slow and when using it on a mobile phone, it's even slower.  The fonts size of the system are very slow and the emails it sends to requestors are not easy to read.  Service requestors often miss our messages.  Perhaps if the messages were a different font color they would stand out and be read.

Tracking of workorders and capturing data about workorders.

The website is easy to access, it sends you updates on when your request was submitted and when it is being completed.

I do not have a dislike about the website. So far my experience has been great!

AkitaBox has helped me solve maintenance issues around my school. Whenever a student would bring issues in the restroom to my attention, I made sure that they were solved quickly so they could have access to use what they need. I would also use AkitaBox whenever I needed supplies in my room or there was an issue with furniture. This app really helped me take care of what I needed quickly and maintenance was always quick to help.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

AkitaBox is easy to use and there is no confusion about what is needed when you put in a request.  The people replying to issues know exactly what is wrong and where the issue is and it helps them get there quickly to solve the problem when needed. There are so many options to choose from when selecting the problem, you don't have to worry about the wrong person showing up to correct the issue.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

You don'l always know when someone has seen the problem or how long it will take to correct it.  Even though our staff is amazing and comes quickly without hesitation, you aren't given an actual day and time they will show up.

**What problems is AkitaBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issues with floors or air conditioning is usually when I put in a request.  Hot Houston days can be absolutely miserable if someone isn't working to make sure the air is working in the classrooms all the time.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

The most helpful part about AkitaBox is that we create air building in the system. I like that I can go in and look to see where the plumbing, electrical, room numbers and so on, are at in the building. I also like that, AkitaBox stores all information so you can go back to one work order or go to a building and see everything that has happened in that building regardless if the ticket was canceled or completed.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

There are two things I dislike about AkitaBox. 1. when you put messages in AkitaBox on a work order or service request you are not notified that a message was put in. In the past, we used a different system and when any messages was put into that system an email was generated to all that was on the work order. In order to see a message on a ticket you have to go in pull the ticket up and read the message. Our maintenance staff does not sit at a desk throughout the day so having a notification that a message was sent  Would help with communication. 2. There's no app for AkitaBox.

Keeping everything in one location. We love that the floorplans, fire extinguishers, etc. all can be seen by pulling it up in a key box.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

I love how simple and straight to the point it is. I use it every time I need different ask at different campuses. The best part is that it integrates well with my Outlook email. Once I have submitted my request, I receive an email confirmation that my request has been submitted. It's an easy platform to implement in any work environment I feel. Overall love the platform and the support I receive to ensure the tasks have been completed.

For the moment, there is nothing I can say I dislike.

Along with an easy-to-learn layout and system, AkitaBox also makes it 5 times easier to know what needs to get done and provide information on necessary tasks.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

Occasionally I have experienced brief delays or stalls, but never anything more. I'm not even sure it is on the site's side, and may be just a internet problem on my end.

I use AkitaBox to figure out tasks and maintaining that needs to be completed. AkitaBox eliminates the need for me to discuss or discover these tasks or problems in person, instead allowing me to find out all I need after a few quick button taps.

I love using Akita box because I don't have to search for it. It's always right in my apps. The requests that go in are prioritized so, if I have something that needs to be taken care of quickly, I can be assured that will be. I also love that we can upload pictures. It makes it really to share information.

There is nothing that I don't like about Akita box

I work with Preschool students who often have bio- and other types of accidents. With Akita box, I never have to go looking for someone from facilities They come right to me.

What I liked best about Akita Box was that teachers were simply able to scan the QR code, reach the desired request and submit within a few steps. This process was very easy and we appreciated having the simplicity of making requests.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

The only thing we disliked sometimes was being able to always the access the QR code. There were times when it was down for maintenance and there was no other way to submit requests.

Emails can get lost in the shuffle and being able to house all requests in one space was the most beneficial.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

It is a great tool for evaluating a large project scope in a visual manner that is easy to interpret. When going to sites with hundreds of buildings, this is way more practical to look at than an excel spreadsheet. It is also useful for a second audit team to go out and immediately know where an asset is in a building.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

There are minor bugs that need to be fixed. Often when on site, the app will stop working and you need to log out, log back in, and refresh in order to get the system working again. This happens more when you have multiple projects in your account, which much of our team has.

Having a strong visual database to reference site data that is easily accessible and intuitive to use.

**What do you like best about AkitaBox?**

It has the ability to drill down to the nuts and bolts of a building. This allows you to pinpoint with accuracy what you worked on/looked at. The scheduling and PM reminders are excellent. The ability for anyone on site to report an issue is amazing.

**What do you dislike about AkitaBox?**

It's not easy to learn.  I'm computer literate and I have trouble figuring out how to do things. For the maintenance folks who spend most of their time on the floor and very little time at a computer, it's not ideal.

**What problems is AkitaBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows for all staff to report when they see issues that need maintenance.  This can then be prioritized by the lead mechanics, it prevents the other staff from distracting the maintenance staff with a million little issues. It keeps track of and issues PMs on schedule.

I love that there are so many features. From the variety of different ways to search up jobs and the amount of information you're able to save on a piece of equipment really helps optimize workflow.

Getting around can be a little tedious at time having to click through a couple pages to be able to get where you want to go.

It helps to solve the problem of managing a bunch of different service requests and recurring maintenance and assigning them to the right department. If not, also the right person.

From my stance the only issue would be on the user side of the program. Our company does not make it easy enough to find the link for Akita.

How easy the interface is and how accessible each box becomes. It allows for easy input for my schedule.

Lenght of menus, sometimes have to scroll awhile to find my location, should be able to save common locations.

I like how easy it is to submit a ticket. The work that was done prior to launching the platform paid off in that it has all of our building room numbers and categories of work orders to submit.

I wish it had a dashboard the user submitting a ticket can see to view all open, in progress, and closed tickets. At this time it looks like that option is only available to our facilities managers.

I love that I no longer have to be the middle person for requests. The QR codes make it so easy to access and the requests are easy to fill out. When requests come my way I can quickly redirect them to the complete the request themselves. My staff love that they get the updates on satus or completion.

AkitaBox has helped with the quick response of everything custodial at our campus. When you are logged in to your google account automatically populates and you just fill in the information that you need to get your custodial needs met. They even notify when someone is on the way and when your request has been completed.

The QR codes provides make it hard to use. The computer version is a lot more user friendly.
