"Easy to Use, Smooth Performance, and Great Value"
5/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

We’ve been very happy with 800.com and use it regularly to manage our toll-free business calling. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the mobile app is especially convenient for managing calls and staying connected when I’m away from my desk. Call forwarding has worked smoothly and reliably for us, and features like custom greetings, voicemail, call recording, texting, and call analytics make it easy to manage our business communications from one place.

Performance has been excellent so far. Calls route properly and we haven’t experienced any significant reliability or technical issues. I also like that 800.com offers integrations with CRM platforms as well as Zapier and Make, along with API and webhook access. That gives us plenty of flexibility to connect our phone service with other parts of our workflow as our needs grow.

The pricing and ROI are probably among the biggest advantages for us. Having unlimited calling available on our plan at a reasonable monthly cost makes budgeting much easier, particularly for a business that relies on a toll-free number. Compared with paying separately for a number, calling, texting, analytics, and other business-phone features, there is a lot of functionality included for the price.

Support and onboarding have also been straightforward. The platform was easy to get set up, and the help documentation is written clearly enough that I can usually find what I need without having to contact support.

I also like the direction 800.com is taking with AI and automation. Features such as voicemail and call transcription are useful for quickly reviewing communications, while 800 Intelligence can provide AI-generated call summaries, scoring, and recommended follow-up actions. There are also AI Agent capabilities available for things like answering common questions, lead qualification, appointment booking, and after-hours coverage. Even though we don't need every AI feature in our everyday workflow yet, having those capabilities available gives us room to automate more as our needs grow.

Overall, 800.com gives us a good combination of an easy-to-use UI, reliable performance, useful integrations, strong business calling features, AI capabilities, straightforward support, and excellent value for the price. We’ve been very satisfied with the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

There really isn’t much we dislike about 800.com, as the service has worked very well for us. The one feature I would like to see is the ability to connect 800.com directly to standard VoIP/SIP desk phones. We use the mobile and desktop options, but having native support for physical VoIP phones would give us more flexibility in an office environment and make 800.com an even more complete replacement for a traditional business phone system. We're delighted to hear that 800.com has been beneficial for your small business, providing you with a branded toll-free number and call recording features to enhance your professional image and customer experience.

"Affordable Business Line at great prices and confidence with 800.com"
4.5/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

I like how easy it is to find a good number, because it helps clients remember us and call back without any hassle. The price is very affordable, which is a big plus—especially with rising costs. The back-office messages and voicemails add value by making my business look very professional. I also appreciate the ability to text on the 800.com to build rapport with a potential client before a phone call. A potential client is more likely to respond to opening texts to build confidence into a phone call. When you have an 800.com phone number it feels like a big company is backing you and establishes you as a national company and it drops the stigma of having to pay for an unrecognized area code. Many people feel comfortable calling an 800.com number because they know its toll FREE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

The 10DLC verification has been difficult to get text messaging approved. They keep denying me without giving a reason. It's been frustrating, as I had to send two emails to customer service to get something done. However a customer service rep quickly got back to me and verified that I needed to make some small changes and I did so now I have the 10DLC requirement done for text messaging. Response from Christina Reynolds of 800.com

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback!

We’re glad to hear that your vanity number, affordability, and voicemail features are helping your business look more professional and memorable to customers. That’s exactly the kind of value we aim to provide for growing businesses.

We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the 10DLC verification process and experience, we understand how frustrating it can be. The verification process is regulated by carriers and we are actively working on ways we can improve our customers experience, increase first time approvals and expedite the process.

All of our plans come with a fax number and you can add one anytime in your dashboard or reach out to us directly at Support@800.com and we can help get it setup for you :)

Thanks again for choosing 800.com — we truly appreciate your business and your feedback.

"Exceptional Features, Secondary Latency Issues"
4/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

I love that 800.com records the conversation, allowing us to go back and reference it if we need to contact the customer again or remember something we might have forgotten. I also love the text feature. The initial setup was very easy.

Working in the construction business , I’ve been thoroughly impressed by how effectively they utilize 800.com to drive client engagement. They’ve integrated text-enabled toll-free numbers into their outreach, allowing for prompt, professional two-way SMS communication alongside standard voice calls. Their use of real-time analytics to track lead attribution shows a sharp, data-driven approach to business operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

I’ve seen firsthand how effectively they manage client operations using 800.com. Their multi-line setup and call-routing structure make reaching the right person seamless. The only area that could use improvement is the occasional latency or delay during phone calls, which can cause a brief lag in live conversation. If 800.com optimizes its call connection speeds, the communication setup would be completely flawless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful Payment Reminders and Truly Caring Customer Support"
5/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

As a startup, I’ve been dealing with some cash flow challenges, so I really valued the notifications letting me know when my next payment was coming due. When I realized I was going to miss that payment, I emailed customer service and got a response right away. The reply even included his picture, which made it feel like I was dealing with a real person who was actually paying attention and trying to help.

I was especially relieved when he told me my number would still be available for a short time. I was eventually able to make the payment and get back on track. Overall, I came away feeling like 800.com genuinely cared, and that customer service interaction has really endeared the company to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

My main challenge right now is figuring out some of the features. It seems like the messages I send to customers outside my business hours aren’t meeting certain requirements. I selected one of the provided options instead of writing the wording myself, but I still got a notification telling me to return to my dashboard to resolve the issue. So far, I haven’t been able to fix it on my own, so I’m planning to reach out to customer service for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Professional Business Communication Tool"
5/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

I really like 800.com for several reasons. It lets me have a professional 800 number that connects to my personal cell phone without clients knowing, which helps my business look full-scale. The pricing is great, making it one of the better products for what you pay. I also had a tech support issue once, and they resolved it very quickly with personalized help, even showing me features I didn't know about. The ability to text from my phone or computer using my 800 number is a big plus. I can import contacts from my CRM and send group texts out easily. I appreciate that the number comes directly to my phone and has a customized voicemail with options for out-of-office hours. Setup was quite easy, and tech support was very responsive, making the process quick. Overall, it's been a great product so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Business Tool with Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

I like that 800.com is easy to use. There's no fluff, everything is simple, and the UI is easy to navigate. It works well on mobile. Their customer support is also something I appreciate. I can open a ticket and they call back promptly; they've been very helpful. The support is easy to reach and quick to respond, plus there are many resources available to help with problems. I also find the SMS service setup beneficial for businesses. The initial setup was very straightforward, taking me less than fifteen minutes to figure out everything, including selecting the phone number. It's a very good service, which is why I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommendation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

The pricing could be cheaper because compared to other places, they're a bit more expensive. But you get what you pay for, of course. They're a good service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"800.com: Easy Setup, Fantastic Pricing, and Feature-Rich"
5/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

800.com was super easy to set up and get using right away. The pricing is fantastic for all the features they offer compared to the other services out there. Very happy with the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

The only downside that I can see at this time is the limited number of extensions. As of now it only goes to 25 so if you need to set up more than 25 extensions that is not possible from what I was told. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Reynolds of 800.com

Thank you so much for the great review!

We’re thrilled to hear that 800.com was easy to set up and provided the features and pricing your remote team was looking for. Helping businesses create a professional communication system without the complexity or cost of larger enterprise solutions is exactly what we strive for.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding extension limits. Insights like this are very valuable as we continue evolving the platform to support larger and growing teams with more advanced communication needs. We have actually been looking at adding the ability to add 'custom extensions' which would enable you to put any number you would like, thus removing that limit :) We should have this feature soon!

If you’d be open to sharing any additional feedback, please email support@800.com

and ask for Christina — we’d love to learn more about how you use 800.com.

Thanks again for choosing 800.com — we truly appreciate your support and are proud to support your remote workforce!

"Perfect for Small Businesses and Remote Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

We've been using 800.com for our business phone system, and it has been an excellent experience from day one. As a growing IT services company, we needed a solution that was professional, reliable, and easy to manage, and 800.com has delivered on all three.

UI / UX: The interface is clean, modern, and intuitive. Setting up phone numbers, extensions, call routing, voicemail, and business texting was straightforward, and I rarely have to search for a feature. Everything is organized in a way that makes managing our phone system simple.

Integrations: While our needs are fairly straightforward today, the platform works well alongside the other cloud services we use to run our business. The flexibility gives me confidence that it can grow with us as our requirements evolve.

Performance: Call quality has been consistently excellent. Calls connect quickly, audio is clear, and I haven't experienced any reliability issues. Business texting and voicemail have also performed exactly as expected, which is critical when communicating with customers.

Pricing / ROI: The pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to traditional business phone systems. For a small business, the value is outstanding. We were able to establish a professional presence with an 800 number without the cost or complexity of legacy phone solutions.

Support / Onboarding: Getting started was quick and painless. The onboarding process was easy to follow, and when I had questions, customer support was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. It's refreshing to work with a company that values the customer experience.

AI / Intelligence: I haven't had the opportunity to use the AI features yet, so I can't comment on that aspect of the platform. Based on my experience with the rest of the service, I'm looking forward to exploring those capabilities as our business continues to grow.

Overall, 800.com has been a dependable and cost-effective solution that helps our business present a professional image while keeping communications simple and reliable. I would confidently recommend it to any small business or growing company looking for a modern virtual phone system.

This version is more credible because it only comments on features you've actually used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

Honestly, I haven't run into any major issues so far. The few improvements I'd like to see are more enhancements than complaints, such as additional integrations, richer analytics, and expanded AI capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christina Reynolds of 800.com

We're glad to hear that 800.com has provided the reliability and flexibility your startup needs! Thank you for the glowing review. Your feedback for enhancements is valuable to us as we strive to enhance our platform to better serve your business.

What do you like best about 800.com?

I like that 800.com allows customers to call us toll-free, which means they don't have to worry about the cost when communicating with our sales and service departments. I also appreciate the feature where voice messages appear as text, making it easy to forward them in words to other departments in our company. Additionally, the summary of messages helps us ensure all messages are replied to without missing any. The initial setup was extremely easy and straightforward, which was a great start. "Intuitive Dashboard and Voicemail, But Texting Feature Could Use Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about 800.com?

I really love how clean, intuitive, and easy-to-navigate the dashboard is—it just makes sense. Setup was incredibly fast and straightforward, which I really appreciate. I was able to get up and running right away without any complicated steps. The voicemail-to-text feature is a total game changer—getting a text when someone leaves a voicemail and being able to listen right from my phone without logging in saves so much time. I’ve also noticed the recent improvements to the one-to-one texting feature, which is great to see. It’s clear the platform is evolving and listening to users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

Even with the improvements, texting customers back is still harder than it should be. I wish there were a more seamless way to respond—ideally without having to log into the interface every time. It would make communication much faster and more natural. The pricing also feels a bit high compared to similar services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
