With 1 EDI, our electronic commerce transactions flow into and out of our systems with minimal human interactions. 1 EDI's transaction mapping tool is complex and sometimes difficult to navigate. Some of the mapping controls are not intuitive to use, especially as the inbound and outbound mapping tools work very differently. Additionally, some of the general UI features are not customizable when the need to be. In particular, when reviewing past transactions, the data is displayed in a relatively small proportionally spaced font. This makes reviewing the transaction data difficult for two reasons. First, the proportional nature of the font makes it difficult to distinguish between narrow letters, such as "I" (uppercase "i") and "l" (lower case "L") and a "|" (pipe character). Second, the small (about 9 or 10 point) font size exacerbates the difficulty of the proportional font. This display is not customizable to select a different font or font size. While you can double-click the display to export the data to an external text editor, this is an unwanted extra step when you are trying to review several transactions.
