"Trustworthy Platform with Authentic Opportunities"
What do you like best about Work for Impact?

I really like the community on Work for Impact and appreciate that they offer real jobs on the platform. Also, discovering the Spanish community was a pleasant surprise, and the community manager, Flora, has been great. We’ve been talking for a few months, and she sends out jobs for bilingual people, which I think is amazing. I enjoy this aspect a lot. Plus, the initial setup was easy; creating my profile and portfolio was straightforward, and it was great to quickly access real jobs and interviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Work for Impact?

I think the last time I had a job on the platform, you guys increased the rate, which kind of impacted me somehow. Maybe you should increase the rates to the companies so it won't affect us that much. I understand Work for Impact needs to get the rate because you're giving us the opportunities, but you should let the older side know they should improve or pay more to the people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Flora Aliaga of Work for Impact

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review, Jimena! We’re glad to hear that you value the community and the authentic opportunities on the platform. It means a lot to know that the Spanish community and the support we provide are making a difference. We also appreciate your honest feedback about rates—it helps us keep improving. Thanks for being part of Work for Impact!

"Comprehensive Job Platform with Stellar Community"
What do you like best about Work for Impact?

I find Work for Impact to be a good platform with many job options listed. I like the clean UI and how easy it is to navigate. The active and friendly community is a big plus, with many users helping each other. I also appreciate their 'App & Tools' options, which provide tons of hints for the most useful tools in the market for independent contractors. Setting up was pretty easy too, I'd rate it a 1 out of 10 in difficulty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Work for Impact?

Add a dark mode for the website, white website can be painful for some users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Flora Aliaga of Work for Impact

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this thoughtful review, Licurgo!

We’re really glad to hear that you find the platform easy to navigate and that the community spirit stood out to you. At Work for Impact, we truly believe that opportunities grow when people support each other, so it’s great to know that the active and friendly community is making a difference for you.

We also appreciate your suggestion about adding dark mode — feedback like this helps us keep improving the experience for everyone.

"Easy, Well Paid, but Few Vacancies"
What do you like best about Work for Impact?

I like that Work for Impact is easy to use and that it handles well-known companies from the United States with good pay. They pay very well per hour, generally from 11 dollars per hour onwards, which is better compared to other platforms. Additionally, it helps me prepare for interviews and secure positions. The application is more user-friendly and helps a lot with applying. It was also very easy to set up; I just downloaded it, signed up, and started looking for jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Work for Impact?

Well, I think that look for more vacancies because they are good vacancies to work, but they are very few. So, find more companies to be able to have more options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Flora Aliaga of Work for Impact

Hi Moises,

Thank you for your honest and thoughtful feedback

We hear you on wanting more vacancies — we’re continuously working on bringing in more mission-driven companies to expand opportunities for our community.

Thanks for being part of Work for Impact — we’re excited to keep growing with you!

"Simple Time Tracking with Caveats"
What do you like best about Work for Impact?

I like that Work for Impact is simple and easy to use. Signing up for an account and installing the time tracker was simple enough. I value the time tracker feature the most because without it, I wouldn't be able to record my worked hours properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Work for Impact?

There was an update to the tracker where if there's no input, it asks if you're still working, and if you don't notice, time tracking will stop. This is counterintuitive and bothersome during meetings or when watching recordings of meetings. Additionally, the lack of payout options in the Philippines is a significant issue. We were told it would be rolled out this year, but it's delayed to Q1 of 2026 and might possibly get delayed again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Flora Aliaga of Work for Impact

John! We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the recent update to the time tracker. We'll take your feedback into consideration for future improvements.

"Reliable Platform for Long-Term Client Relationships"
What do you like best about Work for Impact?

What I like best about Work for Impact is the ability to build a stable, long-term relationship with a single client. For the past three years, I’ve been working with the same client through the platform, and the experience has been smooth, consistent, and reliable. The system makes communication, project management, and payments simple, allowing me to focus fully on the work without worrying about finding new projects or dealing with administrative issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Work for Impact?

What I find challenging about Work for Impact is that the platform can feel limited in terms of new opportunities. Since I’ve been working with only one client for the past three years, I haven’t seen many other project options that match my skills. It would be great to have more active job postings or a wider variety of projects so freelancers have more chances to grow and diversify their work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Flora Aliaga of Work for Impact

Thank you so much, Benedict!

We’re glad to hear the platform has supported a strong, long-term client relationship for you over the past three years. We also appreciate your feedback about project variety — it’s valuable and something we continue working on. Thank you for being part of Work for Impact!

"Seamless Client Connections with Excellent Support"
What do you like best about Work for Impact?

I use Work for Impact as a platform to connect with potential clients as a remote worker. It makes job searching easier by connecting me to clients who are ethical and socially responsible. I really like their support team; they are top-notch and respond expediently. The platform is easy to use, and their support is definitely something I appreciate. The timer for recording work progress and the timely payments facilitated between us and the client are also aspects I find valuable. The initial setup was a pretty straightforward process, nothing too complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Work for Impact?

I would appreciate if they have a clear, signed contract between the remote workers under them. Currently, they only provide a letter for independent contractors. While this is helpful, it would be better to have a signed agreement that their contractors can use for, say, visa applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Flora Aliaga of Work for Impact

Thank you, Jeric!

We’re really glad to hear how smoothly the platform and our support team have helped you connect with responsible, mission-driven clients. Your note about clearer contracts is incredibly valuable.

Thanks for trusting Work for Impact on your remote-work journey. We’re cheering for you!

"Great Support, Improvable in Aligned Projects"
What do you like best about Work for Impact?

I like that Work for Impact worked for me, as it allowed me to gain a new client, which resulted in additional income. Furthermore, I deeply value the human contact I have with the support people, which gives me great confidence in feeling that I have their backing. Finally, I found that the initial setup of Work for Impact was easy, which facilitated my experience with the platform from the start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Work for Impact?

I would like there to be more jobs available, that are better paid, and that truly align with the values of positive social impact, such as those related to human rights, childhood, climate crisis, or organizations that help animals. Additionally, I believe that Work for Impact should establish a minimum wage to prevent exploitation and not accept clients with harmful objectives like pseudosciences and religious goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Flora Aliaga of Work for Impact

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! Your feedback truly means a lot to us. It helps us grow, improve, and continue creating meaningful opportunities for talented independent contractors around the world.

We’re grateful to have you as part of our community—thank you for trusting us and for being part of this journey.
