Hey G2 community, I’m curious. What do you think are the best budgeting platforms for multi-department collaboration? I’m putting together a list of top-rated tools in the budgeting and forecasting category that help finance teams, department heads, and executives align on budgets, forecasts, and spending plans. If you’ve used any of these or have others to recommend, drop your thoughts below. I’d especially love feedback from teams using Workday Adaptive Planning, Prophix, or Vena.
Workday Adaptive Planning: A cloud-based platform that supports budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling. It enables teams across departments to collaborate in real time with shared access to data and reports.
Prophix: Prophix offers corporate performance management with strong budgeting and planning tools. Its workflows and permissions make it easier for finance and department managers to collaborate securely.
Vena: Vena combines the familiarity of Excel with advanced budgeting automation. It helps departments contribute to budgets in a standardized way while maintaining transparency and version control.
Anaplan: Known for enterprise-grade connected planning, Anaplan allows multiple teams to work together on budgets, forecasts, and what-if scenarios. It’s popular for large organizations with complex budgeting needs.
