"Great Planning, Budgeting and Reporting Tool"

What do you like best about Centage?

The financial reporting tool - Maestro Analytics and the Personnel module, the budgeting section, and the forecasting tool are my favorite parts of Centage.Implementation and Product support are also top notch. Centage has a wide variety of features. The integration with D365 Business Central is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Centage?

The only downside I see with Centage is the delay in posted entries to when they are reflected in the financials. I do think this will be a feature enhancement in the future to where data can be updated multiple times a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Centage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Centage replaced our former report writer that had many technical issues. We are also able to pull in the budget directly from Centage and not have to load it into our ERP to include in financials.

Centage has replaced our excel budget reports which no matter how many reviews are done, spreadsheet errors are inherent in the process.

The budgeting process is simplified by including separate revenue, expense, and personnel budgets. The personnel budgets also take out the manual process of payroll and unemployment tax calculations. The budgeting process also allows for allocations and percentage based budgeting, thus eliminating more manual calculations in Excel.

In addition, developing a forecast was a painstaking manual process. Centage allows the forecast to be rolling and I am able to include this with ease in my financial reports and budget reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible and powerful budgeting solution"

What do you like best about Centage?

We have a number of different revenue streams and Centage allows us to create custom calculations and setting as we need them. I also like the variety of reporting options using the Analytics Maestro add on to really get an understanding of our data in order to best plan for the future. The Customer Support team is very responsive and helpful in addressing any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Centage?

Because the Analytics Maestro is used with Excel, there is a download process to move the data that you need. In order to get the most current actual data this is a two-step process which can take up to 30 minutes. Part of it could be set to run automatically but I prefer to do it as needed. Also, some of the screens have default views for certain elements and it would be better if those could be customized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Centage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were using an out-of-date program that we were unable to make changes to. The Centage platform is very customizable for individual needs and provides a wide variety of reporting options. "Great Rollup Features"

What do you like best about Centage?

We really like the rollup features of Planning Maestro. We manage 65 companies with different ownership, so being able to look at plans by company, by manager, by division, etc is extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and Time-Saving Budgeting and Forecasting Tool"

What do you like best about Centage?

The tool is highly configurable, eliminates the error-prone manual Excel process for budgeting and forecasting, increases our accuracy, and is an enormous time saver. I cannot imagine managing the finances of our non-profit without it. The customer service team responds quickly to my requests, is knowledgeable, and is excellent to work with. What do you dislike about Centage?

While it's true that setting up the tool and learning to utilize its capabilities fully can take some time, the customer service team is always there to guide you. "Cost effective easy to use budgeting system"
