I use Goodnotes for most of my student sessions, especially with virtual students. I love how easy it is to insert PDFs or images of worksheets and student problems, then work through them together. We can solve problems in real time, and at the end of the session I can send students the pages we worked on. I also keep each student’s work organized in folders and notebooks, which makes it simple to find everything again later when we need to review.
When working through assignments on worksheet pages, one of the challenges is having worksheets that don’t give you enough space. I can create a quick screenshot of the problem we want to work on and move it elsewhere on the page to work on. Alternatively, if there’s any space at all, we can zoom in, giving us more space. When I share pages from a notebook, I always seem to be limited to sharing only one page at a time. I still haven’t found a way to share a range of pages, so if a session spans multiple pages, I end up manually sharing each page individually, which feels like a waste of time.
Also, every so often while we’re writing, things will disappear. I’m not sure whether that’s a software issue or if there’s something we’re missing in how we’re using it.
Finally, I haven’t found a good way to use the sticky notes. I’ve tried adding them as movable notes, but once I place a sticky note, I haven’t been able to figure out how to move it around afterward. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.
