Question on: Zoom Workplace
[CRM](/discussions/zoom-workplace-crm)

Have anyone used HelpScout? Seems complicated. I tried to be oriented, but got lost. Wanted to get students after class satisfaction survey and could not yet make it happen. Can anyway assist in step-by-step Guide?

I was creating personalised CRM applications for large vendors across the nation and international as well. having salesforce on our side was the best decisions of all time , cause it provide us accountability and reliability for our clients.

Question on: Zoom Workplace
[Zoom was one of few options during pandemic. Now, we have more and soome are are better than zoom platform. I hope you agree on this.](/discussions/zoom-was-one-of-few-options-during-pandemic-now-we-have-more-and-soome-are-are-better-than-zoom-platform-i-hope-you-agree-on-this)

We used only zoom during pandemic. Still same, not so new things. Now better ways to communicate with alternatives.

It’s bloated – too many half-baked features (Events, Whiteboard, Clips) chasing “platform” status. Chat is mediocre – Slack, Teams, even Discord destroy Zoom Chat. Collaboration depth is shallow – Zoom is still meeting-first, not workflow-first. Pricing feels dated for what you actually get. If your claim is “there are better options now” — yes, that’s factually correct. Who actually beats Zoom (and why) Microsoft Teams – better for orgs already in Microsoft ecosystem. Meetings + docs + chat + security. Google Meet – lighter, faster, good enough for most teams, zero friction. Slack Huddles – not a Zoom replacement, but often eliminates the need for Zoom. Whereby / Around / Riverside – better UX for specific use cases (remote teams, async, creators). Zoom’s mistake: trying to be everything instead of being the best at meetings only. Where you’re wrong (or oversimplifying) If you’re implying Zoom is worse across the board — that’s false. Zoom still has best-in-class call stability Works reliably on bad networks Scales better for large meetings/webinars than most competitors That’s why enterprises still pay for it.

[Which screen and video capture software offers the highest resolution?](/discussions/which-screen-and-video-capture-software-offers-the-highest-resolution)

Hi, G2 community. Video quality is a top priority for us, particularly when creating tutorials and marketing content. I’d like to know which platforms consistently deliver the sharpest resolution. Ideally, I’m looking for [screen and video capture software](https://www.g2.com/categories/screen-and-video-capture) that can:

- Support HD and preferably 4K recording
- Maintain video quality in longer sessions without glitches
- Offer editing options that don’t reduce resolution
- Balance high resolution with manageable file sizes
- Work smoothly across different devices or operating systems

Here are a few tools I’ve been comparing:

- [Riverside](https://www.g2.com/products/riverside/reviews): Supports up to 4K local recordings with separate tracks. Does it hold up well in everyday use beyond podcasts?
- [Camtasia](https://www.g2.com/products/camtasia/reviews): Lets you record and edit in HD or higher. Do long tutorials stay crisp after editing and export?
- [Zoom Workplace](https://www.g2.com/products/zoom-workplace/reviews): Convenient for webinars, but are its recording resolutions high enough for polished professional content?
- [Snagit](https://www.g2.com/products/snagit/reviews): Great for quick captures, but is it sufficient for producing high-resolution video tutorials?

For those producing high-quality videos:

- Which tool has given you the sharpest, most reliable results?
- Do you find 4K necessary, or is HD good enough in most cases?
- Any challenges with storage, playback, or editing large high-res files?

Thanks!

Do you find higher resolution recordings actually improve engagement, or do most viewers not notice the difference beyond HD?
