Question on: RealVNC

Is there an easy way to transfer files between server and viewer computers. currently i use email.

I think my question is pretty self explanatory, but frequently i need to transfer files between the view and the server

This functionality is built into the software. From the toolbar, click on the "Double Arrows" which is for File Transfers. Note that file transfer isn’t available for a Home subscription.

File transfer is built in through the notification tray icon for the server but it is a little awkward to use compared to Windows Remote Desktop where the client devices are discoverable through File Explorer. I prefer to transfer through shared folders on Dropbox or SyncThing.

Question on: RealVNC

Anyone know how to integrated this product with Windows update triggers

Kaseya and products like that have a way of tapping into the status of the PC which allows one to remotely get reports on the status of a systems updates, software versions, etc. Can this be done with VNC?

I don't that's possible. Check out Remote Desktop Manager by Devolutions for some extra admin features. You could also use powershell scripts if you are up to it.

Is either an iPhone or Android OS version available? Can I show clients my screen?

There is a VNC client available on iPhone and Android. Although it works only one direction. You can control a computer running VNC Server, but you cannot view or control a mobile device.

There is only a viewer application available for mobile. How’re, TeamViewer does give you the ability to share your iPhone screen with a remote host. It’s free for personal use and there are paid options for business use.
