Rental Leak
Rental Leak is rental management software built specifically for contractors managing rented equipment, temporary services, owned equipment, invoices, returns, and recurring jobsite costs across multiple projects. It gives office and field teams one place to see what is currently on rent, where it is assigned, what it is costing, when another billing cycle is approaching, and whether the equipment or service should be kept or returned. Rental Leak helps contractors reduce unnecessary rental costs by improving visibility and communication between project managers, superintendents, operations teams, accounting staff, and field users. Instead of relying on spreadsheets, emails, phone calls, and disconnected rental vendor portals, teams can manage rental activity in one shared system. Core capabilities include: • Rental equipment tracking across multiple projects and vendors • Temporary service tracking for items such as dumpsters, portable toilets, fencing, trailers, pumps, generators, and other recurring jobsite services • Billing-cycle and rollover-date visibility • Current rental cost and estimated cost-to-date reporting • Keep-or-return decision workflows • Field verification so office teams can confirm whether rented items are still needed • Rental invoice review and reconciliation • Rental agreement and invoice document management • Project-level rental reporting • Historical rental activity and returned-rental records • Owned equipment tracking alongside rented equipment • Tasks, action items, and project activity tracking • Multi-user access with role-based permissions • Web, iOS, and Android access Rental Leak also integrates with QuickBooks Online. Reviewed rental invoices can be sent from Rental Leak to QuickBooks Online as Bills with the invoice file attached. Rental Leak can also read QuickBooks vendor, customer, and project information on demand to assist with matching, and can read back the status of Bills created by Rental Leak. Rental Leak remains the rental-management system while QuickBooks remains the accounting system. Rental Leak is designed for general contractors, specialty contractors, project managers, superintendents, operations managers, equipment managers, controllers, and construction business owners who need better control over rental equipment and temporary services without adopting a heavyweight construction-management platform. The software is designed to be simple and practical for contractors that have outgrown spreadsheets but do not need the complexity or cost of a full enterprise construction platform. Rental Leak is available on web, iOS, and Android. Plans use flat monthly pricing and include a 30-day free trial with no credit card required.
