Dathena Privacy

Dathena’s AI-powered sensitive data discovery and protection platform enables industry-best protection of your personal and business critical data to help you easily mitigate the risk of data breaches and meet compliance requirements such as GDPR and CCPA. Using four modules; Discovery, Classify, Privacy and Protect, our enterprise data privacy and security solutions enables you to identify, classify and protect sensitive data with unprecedented accuracy, efficiency and speed. The Discovery Module automatically identifies and analyzes source data across the enterprise, whether structured, unstructured, on-premise, or in the cloud. Discovery identifies where your data is located, who owns or modifies it, and who has access. It analyzes the lifecycle of the data: date of creation and modification, size changes, and so on. Discovery offers a data minimization feature, which detects duplicated data, provides insights about outdated documents, and recommends how to optimize your storage system. Lastly, the smart sampling feature samples a subset of documents from the general data pool to solve data balancing problems and minimize the cost to train the model. Discovery is the foundation module and is required to support the other three modules discussed below. The Classify Module classifies at-scale unstructured and structured data – with an accuracy score up to 99 percent – enabling your data users to understand the data risks to your business. Classification is performed based on different dimensions: business category (three hierarchical levels), level of confidentiality, data sensitivity (client/non-client data, personal data), and others (integrity, military, etc.). Other elements determined in the Discovery Module – data source, residency, and business impact – as well as the document’s metadata (file name, file path, modification/creation date, owners, users with access) are used to classify the data. The Privacy Module allows you to automatically respond to compliance regulation requests, such as the main articles of GDPR and Subject Access Requests (SARs). It accomplishes this by providing the following capabilities: • Inventories/locates all personal data • Defines the purpose of personal data processing • Pinpoints the relationship between the subject of the processing and all the subject’s personal data saved by the company • Identifies the privacy risk • Provides recommendations for data reduction The Protect Module automatically generates the rules for sensitive/non- sensitive information detection to enforce your organization’s data protection policies, protect against data loss, and augment your DLP or IRM solutions. The Protect Module automatically generates data protection dictionaries that significantly reduce the number of false positives and improve the precision when detecting insensitive documents. Protect includes tagging, which adds the business category, confidentiality, or another tag into the document metadata. By deeply analyzing the document content in the Protect Module, users get recommendations on how to reduce data and find anomalies in data access rights.

GDPR Register

GDPR Register is a structured privacy documentation and workflow platform that helps organisations manage GDPR compliance and EU AI Act readiness in a consistent, transparent, and efficient way. It is designed for privacy, legal, compliance, and governance teams who want to move beyond fragmented spreadsheets, emails, and scattered documentation, and instead use purpose-built tools to stay organised, reduce risk, and remain audit-ready. The platform provides a central space to manage Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), vendor and DPA documentation, systems, data mapping, data protection risks, DPIAs, LIAs, breaches, data subject requests, and AI systems. Everything is interconnected, so when you update a processing purpose, data category, vendor, system, or data asset, those changes can be reflected across your registers, risk assessments, and impact evaluations. GDPR Register now also includes an AI Act Register, helping organisations identify, document, and classify AI systems in line with the EU AI Act. The AI Act Register supports teams in understanding which AI systems are being used, assessing their risk level, and flagging the documentation, governance steps, and assessments that may be required. This gives organisations a clearer starting point for AI governance and helps connect AI compliance with existing GDPR documentation. The platform also includes automatic vendor discovery, designed to help organisations identify vendors and systems already being used across the organisation, including potential shadow IT. From there, GDPR Register can help suggest relevant data categories, create draft RoPAs, connect vendors and systems to processing activities, and flag where further assessments may be needed. This reduces manual work and gives privacy teams a stronger foundation for keeping vendor, system, and processing records up to date. With GDPR Register, users can draft Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs) directly within the platform, customise assessment questions, track review status, assign responsibilities, and generate official reports that can be shared with stakeholders, management, or local data protection authorities. This supports transparency, accountability, and a clear audit trail throughout the assessment process. The platform also includes Ask AI, an AI assistant trained on privacy frameworks and legal context, which helps users work through privacy documentation, including identifying suitable lawful bases, supporting LIA and DPIA drafting, and making privacy work faster and more structured. For complex organisations, the group structure dashboard provides visibility and control across multiple legal entities. Each entity can maintain its own documentation and risk register, while group-level users have a real-time overview of the wider organisation. This ensures local autonomy with central oversight, supporting compliance at both entity and group level. Reporting is straightforward with one-click exports that can be shared with management, stakeholders, auditors, or supervisory authorities. Whether you need a concise executive summary or detailed evidence of compliance efforts, GDPR Register provides clarity without the administrative burden. The platform is also available in all European Union languages, making it easier to support cross-border teams. By replacing disconnected tools with a platform built specifically for privacy and AI governance work, GDPR Register helps teams embed compliance into daily operations and turn it into an ongoing, manageable process instead of an overwhelming task.
