Advisors at colleges and universities use academic advising software to promote student success and increase retention rates. Course-planning tools embedded in advising software allow advisors to collaborate with students. This encourages students and advisors to design a clear plan so students understand which courses they must complete to graduate on time. Students struggling with academics or finances might need to leave school; identifying those students early on is crucial to ensure they receive prompt support.
