Question on: Meshy
How do you handle cleanup and inconsistent output quality in Meshy models?
Meshy has helped me create 3D game assets faster without modeling everything from scratch, which saves time during prototyping and makes it easier to test visual ideas for Roblox development. The main challenge is that the models sometimes need cleanup and the output quality can be inconsistent. For those using Meshy, what does your cleanup process look like, and how do you improve consistency in the results?
I usually use Meshy to quickly and efficiently model and texture my own 2D images worked up in GIMP or Photoshop. If the first run of the model is unsatisfactory I would generally look into using a better reference image and running it again. Once Meshy has completed the model, if it still requires touch-ups, I usually do this in Blender with Claude AI through MCP as an "assistant". Meshy also offers options for "re-texturing" so consider that too before taking the model elsewhere.
