Frigade's standout feature is its AI-powered in-product assistant. Instead of relying on manually created tours or documentation, it learns your application by interacting with it, allowing it to answer user questions, provide contextual guidance, and even perform supported actions on the user's behalf. This makes onboarding and feature adoption more dynamic and requires significantly less ongoing maintenance than traditional onboarding tools.
We run Frigade for two jobs inside our product, and that is the part I did not expect going in. It walks people through the product, and it answers them when they get stuck, both without us standing up a bigger support team for it.
On the guidance side, we lean on it for the parts of our product people do not touch every day. When someone lands on a step that trips them up, a walkthrough is already there in our own wording, and new users get a checklist that points them at what matters first.
The piece that has surprised us most is the assistant. Someone can ask a question right inside the app, and instead of getting handed a help article, they get an answer and it does the thing for them, opens the right screen, takes them into the setting. It learned how our product works on its own, so we were not scripting answers by hand. It has taken a real chunk of the repeat questions off our team.
We use the tool to keep our customers informed about the new features released with each launch. Announcements have been especially valuable for this purpose, as they provide excellent audience targeting capabilities and are easy to configure.
Frigade tours have also been highly effective in delivering a seamless and user-friendly onboarding experience, helping users quickly understand and adopt new features.
Frigade helps software companies guide users through their products. Frigade Assistant learns workflows by using your application, then answers questions and provides on-screen guidance. Assist API brings that product understanding to your own agent. Frigade Engage gives your team control over authored onboarding checklists, tours, announcements, and surveys.
