The assistant answers before our team has to

I set up most of our Frigade stack, so this is from the implementation side. Integration was light. We had the first tours live inside our platform quickly, without pulling other engineers in. We started with the in-app guidance, tours and a checklist that get new users to the right screens in a product with a lot of surface area. Recently we rolled out the assistant on top, and that is the part I would not give back. Users type a question where they are and it answers from knowing our product, so fewer of those questions ever reach us. Watching what people ask has also shown us where the product needs work, which I did not expect to get out of a support feature.

Frigade Made Our Onboarding Click with Tours, Checklists, and an In-App Assistant

Our product has a lot of depth. People come in to research and analyze public tenders, and there is a real learning curve to it. New accounts used to poke around for a week, never find the parts that mattered to them, and stop logging in. Frigade is how we fixed our user onboarding. We build the product tours and the onboarding checklist ourselves, and they walk a new user straight into the views they actually came for, like the market intelligence and the bid analysis. When we ship a new feature, we announce it right inside the app that day. We also run the Frigade assistant alongside that. When someone gets stuck and asks a question in the product, they get a real answer in the moment instead of a link to a knowledge base article they have to go read. We did not have to write those answers ourselves. It matches our UI closely, so all of it reads as part of the product. It is the piece of our onboarding we would keep no matter what else we change

Walkthroughs for the steps people always get stuck on

We put Frigade Engage into our product earlier this year, and it is how we get people through the steps they do not do every day. A lot of what our users do is detailed, multi-step work, and that is where new people used to slow down or come to us for help. The walkthroughs carry most of that now. When someone starts one of the harder tasks, a tour sits right in the product and takes them through it step by step, in our own wording and design. We also keep a getting-started checklist that points new users at the first things worth doing. Both match our product closely enough that people treat them as part of it. If you are weighing in-app guidance tools, the thing I would check is whether your own team can build and change the walkthroughs without engineering. Our product keeps changing, so the guidance has to keep up, and being able to do that myself is what has made Engage stick for us.
