So, for example, on a typical DSL internet with 6mbit down and 600kbit up, you use the smaller number as the limiting factor, and know that you can have 6 concurrent calls on that size of connection. DSL’s slow speeds mean that we don’t usually recommend them, in favour of Cable or Fiber.
