What I like most about AWS Amplify is how it streamlines the entire path from repo to production. With hosting, CI/CD, auth, and backend services already integrated into the AWS ecosystem, it cuts down on a lot of manual infrastructure work and lets me focus on shipping features rather than spending time wiring everything together. I also find it difficult to predict costs for anything beyond trivial projects. Since Amplify spins up multiple AWS resources behind the scenes, it isn’t always clear how that usage will translate into a monthly bill unless I manually track each underlying service.
