What do you like best about Zyte?

Zyte stands out for its ease of use and straightforward implementation. Getting our scraping workflows connected to Zyte required minimal ramp-up, and once in place the ease of integration with our existing systems made it seamless to slot into our pipeline.

We use Zyte frequently, and it has proven reliable at scale, handling a high number of jobs without constant babysitting. The range of features—from IP pool rotation to advanced anti-ban support—lets us tailor the setup to different sites and data volumes.

What do you dislike about Zyte?

While Zyte is a strong solution, there are a few areas that could improve. The pricing structure can feel complex, especially when running frequent, large-scale jobs across many IP pools. For teams just getting started, it’s not always clear how costs will scale with usage.

There’s also a learning curve when setting up advanced configurations or dealing with sites that use heavy JavaScript or aggressive anti-bot measures. Zyte handles most scenarios well, but certain edge cases still require extra fine-tuning from our side.

Zyte solves the toughest part of web scraping: managing large IP pools and avoiding bans. Instead of spending time building our own rotation logic and troubleshooting failures, we rely on Zyte’s automated IP rotation and anti-ban features, which keeps data flowing smoothly.

It was great when you could have 100,000 page scrapes for £50

They moved to a code based solution

Time needed to learn the code and test

Costs can be random and unexpected, even if you put a limit on, you do not know how many pages you have missed

Much preferred the old system

What do you like best about Zyte?

The thing I like about zyte is, that its captcha bypass solution which they have implemented in their API, I have never got a captcha issue while using their API, I always got 200 ok response from each and every website I tried scraping with the help of Zyte, and apart from this, they have quick support, which resolves our doubts and issues ASAP. What do you like best about Zyte?

We needed an IP ban bypassing service to avoid the hassle of developing our own solution. Zyte proved to be incredibly useful for kickstarting our project, and we were able to integrate it into our system quickly.

One feature we particularly appreciated was the ability to test whether specific URLs worked before committing to a subscription. Additionally, the initial credit they offer was invaluable for our early testing phase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zyte?

It was unable to bypass a few websites we intended to scrape, particularly those with regional restrictions in Canada.

We also encountered some blocking issues when sending large volumes of requests within a short timeframe. To address this, we ultimately had to implement our own rate-limiting mechanism.
