In our team, we use other proxy providers as well, but when they fail, the only option we have to get the data is the Zyte API. It works every time and with great accuracy. We can even specify the output format in our request, and boom, we get the response without the headache of dealing with aggressive blocking like Cloudflare. I’m very satisfied because it’s reliable and consistently works. So whenever we make commitments to our clients, we do it with confidence that we’ll figure it out with the Zyte API in any case. One thing we are usually concerned about is pricing. For our crawlers that run every day and generate millions of requests, there are times when we have to let a client go because the benefits we are getting end up being less than what we are paying. Eventually, that means we lose the client. Maybe Zyte could offer more suitable enterprise plans based on usage, such as discounted pricing for larger clients making millions of requests per day. I would like it to be easier to toggle batches of Periodic jobs on/off. Some kind of Periodic Job "Tag" filter would be very useful for me. A "Skip next run" feature would be invaluable also. For example, sometimes I need to run a batch of Periodic jobs on a Thursday instead of a Wednesday. Filtering for the Wednesday jobs using a Tag, then making them all "Skip next run", then filtering for the Thursday jobs using a Tag and enabling them, would be very helping.

If there are issues flagged on https://status.zyte.com/, it would be helpful to surface a small banner indicating such on the Dashboard. Sometimes I experience issues and spend time trying to resolve them until I realise it's a Zyte issue and not specific to me.

I want certain fields, e.g. "Arguments" to be visible across every spider page, however there's no way to apply this to everything, just one-by-one. The "Save as user browser default for all projects" button as least saves the configuration setting for future though.

It would also be helpful to be able to filter by Argument query Name (or Value) on the Dashboard.

I really like their web scraping solutions, especially the Zyte API. It offers a lot of options for choosing what to extract, and you can decide whether to use standard HTTP requests or a JS-rendered response, include screenshots or not, and similar settings. I think there should be a tutorial or a sample test project for beginners to try out all the functionalities of the Zyte API. Right now, there isn’t any tutorial or test project like that available. I only use the Zyte Scrapy Cloud and for sure it's the best platform to host and run your Scrapy scrapers. There's no doubt about it. It is very easy to use, reliable and fast. The price is actually surprisingly good, given how expensive most cloud solutions have gotten in the last few years. What I like most about Zyte is that it handles many of the hardest parts of web scraping, especially when dealing with sites that have anti-bot protection. It saves us a lot of time we’d otherwise spend managing proxies, retries, IP blocks, and other scraping-related headaches.

I’ve also had a positive experience with their support team. Whenever I had questions about configuration or ran into an issue while using the service, their replies were helpful and reasonably quick. The biggest downside for me was the initial learning curve. When you’re using Zyte for the first time, some of the concepts, settings, and parts of the documentation can feel a bit technical.

We mainly use Zyte for parsing data from URLs, along with their proxies, to make sure we’re able to retrieve all the data we need. As a regular user of Zyte, the main drawbacks are cost at scale and limited control in edge cases. While it abstracts a lot, that can make debugging harder when something breaks. The UI, while clean, can feel a bit shallow for advanced workflows, and you’re somewhat locked into their ecosystem compared to rolling your own stack (e.g., Puppeteer + custom proxies). I like the overview and dashboard the most. It's a very easy way to navigate all the scrapers. See which ones are running, start a new scraper, check the logs. Very nice.

We have our own CICD pipeline set up connected to our repo. So this automatically pushes to site and we also push jobs on a schedule. And it's just very easy to use once that was set up. Like we have zero issues with it.

Also the rotating proxy is super nice when we're scraping the same time for a large amount of times. Yeah, just a product without much friction on our site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Scheduling jobs on a recurring basis is a very manual process. Ideally you want to upload a CSV with schedules in it or something. It was a lot of work to do that, especially when you have different parameters that you want to configure for hundreds of scrapers. So we just made our own AWS job that uses the API to scheduled these scrapers throuh Zyte. So it would be nice to have a way on the platform to upload schedules just in bulk.
