**What do you like best about Zoey?**

As a Sports Retail Operations Manager at American Athletic Sports Retail Co., a mid-sized sports retail company with 51–200 employees, what I like best about Zoey is that it’s a true all-in-one e-commerce platform tailored for retail businesses like ours. It lets me build our online sports storefront, manage the entire product catalog, process customer orders, and monitor inventory levels all in one dashboard instead of jumping between several separate tools. I love how customizable the store design is without needing any coding or IT support. I can easily adjust page layouts, create dedicated categories for team uniforms, athletic apparel, fitness gear and outdoor sports equipment, and tweak banners for seasonal sales and team bulk promotions anytime I want. The real-time sync between online orders and inventory is another huge plus—whenever a customer places an order, stock numbers update right away so we always have accurate stock counts. The order management layout is clean and simple for my whole team to use, and the learning curve is really gentle. New staff can quickly learn to process orders, update product listings and check stock without extra training. Overall, the unified system structure, easy store customization, reliable inventory sync and user-friendly interface make Zoey perfect for our day-to-day online sports retail and backend operation work.

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

From my daily work managing sports retail operations, there are a few clear areas where Zoey could be improved. First, the built-in sales and inventory reporting tools are too basic for our business needs. We carry a large range of sports goods including team uniforms, workout apparel, fitness machines and recreational sports gear, and we need to analyze sales by product category, seasonal trends and bulk team orders. Right now the reports lack advanced filtering and custom field options, and we can’t easily pull detailed exportable data for our monthly business reviews and warehouse restock planning. Second, the bulk product editing functionality is limited and runs slowly when we have large batches of items to update. When we need to adjust pricing, sale discounts, product descriptions or inventory quantities for dozens of sports products at once, the current batch tools don’t offer enough flexible mass-update options. It forces us to edit items one by one sometimes, which wastes a lot of time on repetitive admin work. Having more powerful bulk editing and faster system response would save our team lots of routine workload.

**What problems is Zoey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Zoey, we had to run our online store, track inventory and process orders on completely separate systems, plus rely on manual Excel spreadsheets to reconcile data. This caused constant inventory mismatches, easy overselling of popular sports items, and lots of duplicated work updating product info and order statuses. Zoey solves this problem by merging storefront building, product catalog management, order fulfillment and real-time inventory control into one unified system. It keeps all sales and stock data automatically synced, cuts down manual entry errors, and saves our team hours of repetitive admin tasks every week. It also streamlines our checkout, payment and shipping setup, making the whole customer buying experience smoother and letting us handle both regular retail orders and local sports team bulk orders much more efficiently.

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

I really appreciate Zoey's fully native B2B functionality, which means I don't have to deal with patchwork apps, and it cuts down on compatibility issues, lag, and extra costs. I rely heavily on the unlimited customer-specific pricing tiers and restricted catalogs, which let me set up wholesale, trade, and VIP pricing quickly, without manual price lookups. The Quote-to-Cart automation is fantastic because it allows me to turn quotes into orders efficiently without dealing with back-and-forth emails. I love the 24/7 self-service B2B customer portal, streamlining reordering, PO management, and net-term billing, effectively reducing order time by over 50%. AR Automation in Zoey consolidates my accounts receivable, chasing payments automatically and saving me a lot of time. And there's no longer a need for separate invoicing tools or late-payment follow-ups. Overall, Zoey ensures I never deal with pricing errors thanks to having everything centralized, allowing a more seamless experience both for my team and customers.

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

I don't like the slow load times. The portal and admin dashboard often lag with large catalogs (1k+ SKUs) or high B2B user traffic, creating downtime for both internal teams and buyers. Zoey’s initial setup lands in the middle of the ease spectrum.

**What problems is Zoey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoey solves my B2B pricing chaos and manual order entry issues. It provides customer-specific pricing, eliminates pricing errors, and automates order processes. The B2B portal offers self-service, reducing order inquiries and streamlining operations, cutting phone order time by 50%.

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

Customer portal, support team, and customizability on the backend. I appreciate the continued growth of the platform. 

Customer support and ticketing have been great. As I've worked with other software support teams, the Zoey team stands out above most. Often able to help find a solution, rarely do I get a "hard no" without any guidance. My only gripe about the Zoey team is they don't sign the induvidual name of the person helping. I'd like to know who I'm speaking with, vs "Your Zoey Team" :)

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

Web design is limited now. It's getting better. Implementation was challenging, but I also came on board after it had begun, so I missed many of the initial meetings. BUT in contrast to implementation with other software, Zoey is still at the top end.

Web design and customization to make a better experience for our customers.

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

We are using Zoey to run our B to B business, www.iSweet.ca. It is Very User Friendly for Add new items, run promotion for certain time period. Customer loves it since everyone can see the status of order, invoice, track shipment and applied credit if any. Customer support is awesome when we have any questions. Normally tickets will be taking care within 1 hour. Zoey has been part of our daily business operation. We have been with other web hosting company, Zoey has help us to migrate and make the integration very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

We wish Zoey could allow us to "Scan UPC to Verify the pickers pick the right items since we carry over 1500 SKU in regular basis".

**What problems is Zoey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoey makes our BtoB under 1 platform possible. No more needs to use different systems for customer to order, credit, Charge, tracking and promotion. And, it gives us the flexibility to add multiple users  within our office. Everyone is happy for using the same platform.

I can't think of anything other than possibly cost—but, this is a powerful platform with highly tailored solutions.

Highly customizable solutions for our very unique B2B and B2C companies. Before Zoey, envisioning an online catalog for our product was overwhelming. With Zoey, the project has officially launched, feels manageable, and is no longer a "pipe dream".

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

We have been working with Zoey for many years now. As a company we love their platform and it is very inclusive of many features not provided by others. The platform goes far beyond just tracking orders and we use it for many other internal systems including quoting. The built-in quoting software is exceptional. Above and beyond all of this is the quality of support provided. Tech support is very quick to respond and help us through issues or changes that we want to implement. On several locations they have even made modifications to their platform so that they could include features that we needed. We certainly made the right choice when we picked this platform many years ago.

I can't think of any downside to using the platform. There is more than enough when it comes to features and flexibility so I struggle to come up with any downside to using the Zoey platform.

Over the years Zoey Has helped provide many more solutions than I can remember. What I can say is they have implemented many changes that have helped keep us on the platform. As we grow and changes are needed, we have asked for certain flexibility or changes with the product. They always seem to come through with changes that have us building our systems around the Zoey E-commerce software.

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

I love how clean and intuitive everything is for the user. Our customers have been able to log in and navigate the site with ease, and the final result looks beautiful.

What impressed me most about setting up with Zoey was working with Julie — her knowledge, clarity, and ability to guide us through the process made a huge difference. She translated complex information in a way that was easy to understand and kept things moving forward smoothly.

The B2B solution has been a great fit for us. While we’re still learning as we go, most things have been easy to figure out from here.

I can already tell that a forecasting feature to help order inventory would be essential. If we could have that, it would be perfect.

**What problems is Zoey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we were using extremely outdated software, switching to Zoey has been a game changer — especially when it comes to communicating with QuickBooks. Several steps in our sales order process were eliminated, which means we can get to shipping much faster.

What used to require 3 different applications now takes just one. Even our customers are paying faster!

We've had a great experience with hosting our website on Zoey. The website was user friendly and great to customize and set up. The support team is also helpful if we have any issues. Setting up the integration took time but was easy to do.

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

Occasionally there is something that the "cookie cutter" type site doesn't allow us to customize but that is very rare! We can pretty much customize anything we need to.

Our customers are able to place orders online now and our salespeople use the mobile app to place orders as well. So much faster and easier than emailing orders in.

we tried the solutions for the very first time and the handover was smooth. the incorporation of the modules was smooth and hassle free. in starting employees find themself at receiving end as they find a new solution at the desk. but they gained knowledge in using the software quickly. the interface was easy to understand and menus are clutter free. the transition was smooth and collaborative efforts between the employees increased.

We don't have any complaints about Zoey. The interface is pleasant and easy to navigate for our customers, it's ideal for reporting on historical and future orders, and customizable enough to meet our unique needs.

**What problems is Zoey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoey provided our customers with a straight-forward way to place orders and receive easy to read confirmation emails, while allowing them access to their order history. For our team we were able to have more visibility on upcoming sales and set parameters for our different clients needs. Being able to download copies of a CSV file and seamlessly integrate with our ERP system was a huge win.

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

If you need a complete solution for your  business then Zoey is the one for you. It has got all the essential tools required by Brands, Wholesalers, Dealers and so on. The star feature is the Admin panel. Be it the product management, reporting or the sales presentation everything looks great. It's user friendly interface makes you focus on your business rather than thinking or dealing with complex UI like other softwares.

I like how amazing it is for my team and customers. So easy to use.

Just I wish it had more flexibility in integrating third party apps.

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

1)  Product Philosophy - We were on another major provider before the switch to Zoey, which was an extremely frustrating experience. It was clear that the feature set did not truly support how to B2B functions, where you are selling into companies, and that the company had merely reskinned its B2C platform and called it B2B.  Zoey is actually built ground up for B2B, and when you have B2B experience and you use the product, it's so apparent. I literally made a list of all the things my industry-leading provider couldn't do and brought it to the demo and Zoey could do every one. 

2) Platform Capability - Honestly, though we've been on the platform for several months now, I feel like we haven't explored the full capability of the platform. There's so much available customization. We're at the point where it's doing everything we want and uncover new and additional features that accelerate our workflows all the time. 

3) Team - Tons of handholding for implementation, quick service response. 

4) Price - Cheaper and better than our prior alternative, win win.

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

Only thing lacking is phone support, though they're so fast with the ticketing system that I honestly thought this was going to be a bigger issue than it is. The team has been really supportive of us during onboarding and after, so really not a compliant but I feel like something that's important to note for folks.

**What problems is Zoey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better selling to our customers in the way that our customers want to be sold to. They make the management of this easy from within the platform. Customers love their backend site. Honestly haven't had a single customer compliant about their interaction with their Zoey portal, which is huge.

I like how easy the platform it is for my team and customers to use. Customer support is always great at getting back us in a timely manner.

I would like to see a better price for additional linceses after being a customer for years and having double digit licenses already.

Customers would email us the order directly and now they are able to log in and place orders easily through zoey. This allows them to get quotes and review previous orders as well.

Nothing so far. To be fair we are just getting started.

The vast majority of our sales are facilitated by an actual salesperson. Zoey is built from that direction, and, oh by the way, you can actually just place an order through the website if you want. BigCommerce was built the other way around and it made the salesperson process incredibly clunky. It is a little pricier than BC but the support has definitely made the difference.

Our previous site was old and with little to no support. Zoey gave us a new, feature packed B2B site with all the functionality we could want and more.
We are now able to show taylored pricing for specific customers across all the products we distribute as well as having easy to update delivery and order by details.

We ship from different locations. We have all sorts of different shipping choices. Some people have terms. We need to have all sorts of pricing mechanisms. Zoey enables us to do all this with their platform.

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

Zoey is extremely robust in what it can handle. We are sending quite a bit of custom data over via API from our ERP system, and for the most part, it works exactly as it should. The restriction groups work very well, having custom themes per customer group is really nice and the overall look and feel of the final site is far better than what we came from.

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

I'm not a fan of proxying everything through Cloudflare and not having access to view potential issues at that level. I will also say, there's no hand-holding with either setup or support. If you are going to go with Zoey, be prepared to do the bulk of the work yourself or have a contractor do the setup. We're often provided with a simple link to documentation for many issues, and while I appreciate the level of documentation that they have for their system, sometimes a simple walkthrough with the customer would be far more simple and would be a little less "cold". Support also would not get on a call with the developers we had setting up the connection from our ERP to walk through some issues but were instead provided with a link to the documentation. I think a bit more hands-on support would go a long way to make the customer feel a little more welcome and like they have someone in their corner that can help resolve issues quickly. Not everyone is an IT expert and not everyone has the capacity to read through pages of documentation to resolve an issue, which is why we pay SaaS and implementation fees.

**What problems is Zoey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an easy-to-build website where we can feed in products from our ERP system was a daunting ask in the beginning, but once we found Zoey and saw what it could do, and for the price they were asking, it was a no-brainer. It outperformed any of the other systems we reviewed and was far less expensive. While we're finding out now that many of our customers don't like the more B2C feel of the site, we can easily turn it into a B2B wholesale site very quickly.

Initially, we were drawn to the front-end flexibility Zoey offers for our sales reps - being able to both write orders on their computers in the office and on their phones / tablets when in the field. As we have used it over the past year, and as I have become more experienced using the back end, the cleverness of the program has really become apparent. programming and making edits to the website are intuitive and quick. And when I can't figure something out, the tech support has been top-notch.

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

Contrary to what I wrote above, the admin interface took quite a while to get comfortable with - I love it now that I know how to use it, but it was very intimidating at the beginning. The integration with Netsuite isn't as smooth as we would like - we frequently have to force items to sync, but it's a quick process, and not a real hassle.

**Recommendations to others considering Zoey:**

Support was plentiful during setup. Take advantage of this time, and make sure that the integration with Netsuite is configured properly. The rollout was a little glitchy, but after a couple of months, Zoey has become an indispensable component in our tech stack.

**What problems is Zoey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue for us as we were shopping for a new sales rep software solution was that we needed our reps to be able to see live inventory numbers. Zoey has solved that for us. Having this info also be available on our BTB website has also been an incredible time-saver.

ZERO programming. 100% configurable.
It has, by far, the most functionality of any eCommerce system we have implemented.
We did a system evaluation between 20+ eCommerce systems and Zoey came out on top. Big Commerce came in 2nd. Why? Data. If you have a large amount of product data, then Zoey is your system. We have 1,000+ Finished Good SKUs (children) that are derived from 200 Work In Progress (parent) SKUs. Big Commerce was not able to import that data, as their data import system was through a 3rd party who would not provide support. Zoey's data import is native, which they provide support for.

PLUS, every time we come up with a crazy idea of how to represent our products, Zoey has a way to do it!

We have not yet found an issue or bug with Zoey.

Once set up, the platform is very fast and I have not experienced any downtime. The online support pages are well documented with lots of video examples. Customer support if needed has always been very responsive and knowledgable. There are lots of third-party integrations if you need more power.

It has everything we needed without the need to purchase a lot of plug-ins. 

The cost might look higher than some competitors but once you add in the service extension and the transaction fees they charge - it is much less. 

You have to do the math - don't just look at the monthly charge.

The Drag and Drop Designer tools are light years ahead of anyone - want a specific look? Don't want to be trapped into a standard Template. This is what you'll love too.

I think the #1 thing is they are always working to improve the platform - if it's on the roadmap it will be released.

**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

There were some challenges with getting the mobile side to look the way we wanted - however, the new updates really let us get that dialed in.

Some of the tech docs were outdated but those too have been updated.

**Recommendations to others considering Zoey:**

Just test it for your needs. The reason I'm doing this survey is that it was hard to find due to the other platforms marketing. If you're also in the B2B space it's a must review.

We needed a big focus on the B2B side of our business. Seems everyone builds the B2C functionality but when we tested the others we always bumped our head.

Our Distributors and Wholesalers are always sharing how easy it is for them. That was our objective.

What’s not to like? Zoey is based on the leader of eCommerce platforms - Magento and has completely been rethought to make it a breeze for merchants like me to run successfully a store with no in-house developer!

Out of the box Zoey comes with a lot of goodies every merchant is craving on - a great drag & drop design editor; advanced international tools: multi-languages store, easy translations; optimised checkout; abandoned carts recovery; gift cards; third-party apps like Mailchimp; leader payment gateways; shipping tools; CDN; site-wide HTTPS; and so much more…

Zoey has a Top Notch support team where every merchant isn’t just a number! Pointing out that the team has an unforeseen valuable knowledge too and it was a great pleasure for me to have them on my side during the migration! Turns out, migrations are not always easy but with the helpful amazing support team, all went smoothly!

I really appreciate how much they value merchants feedback too. Moving forward, Zoey is constantly improving and adding new features, as I’m writing this they announced amazing upcoming new design tools by the end of the month, so excited to use them on my store. This is the perfect proof that they are really listening at the merchants, a lot of these have been asked by the community and now they are coming out.

Zoey comes with a growing library of beautiful mobile-friendly themes which can be customized to suit the need of your brand.
Bear in mind, that your store should look unique and matching your brand values, you can either do it yourself or hire a Zoey partner to get a beautiful theme designed, that’s why experts are there for too.

Used Magento CE for 7 years before I switched to Zoey. Although I’m a little tech-savvy, managing the Hosting, Magento and Extensions/Security updates all by my-self ended up being a real time consumption, there was always something to update or debug that I couldn’t really focus on running my store in an optimal way, so after evaluating some hosted eCommerce platforms out there - Zoey stood out in a big way and I decided to go for it, everything is now being managed behind the scenes - what a relief and the cherry on top is that my sales and profit did grow too.

**What do you like best about Zoey?**

Comprehensive merchandising features, including setting up promotions and filters in the category pages. Allows for a large number of product attributes, a rare feature in hosted ecommerce platforms. 
Drag and drop design makes it easy to get the site up quickly. For those looking for a more custom design, you can use CSS and HMTL code to customize your design in a limited way. 
Zoey does not charge transaction fees, and this could be a huge contribution to your bottom line. 
Fast and knowledgeable support.


**What do you dislike about Zoey?**

Needs more 3rd party apps to compliment its already rich feature-set.
Needs more payment gateways, although the main ones are already supported.

Best features for the money. Powerful back-end functionality.
