Smart Merchandiser Reviews & Provider Details

Zobrist Software Group, Inc. is the company behind Smart Merchandiser, an AI-powered digital merchandising platform used by retail and apparel brands to control how products are ranked, sorted, and displayed across their online stores. Smart Merchandiser (SM4) pairs precise, drag-and-drop merchandising controls with automation — business-rules scheduling, AI Boost and Bury, AI-powered recommendations, a KPI dashboard, and an AI Analyzer — so merchandising teams can lift conversions and productivity without relying on engineering. The platform integrates directly with major commerce platforms, including HCL Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and Shopify. A defining feature of Smart Merchandiser is its catalog-only architecture: the platform reads and acts on product and performance data alone, and never touches customer or behavioral data — giving retailers a privacy-safe way to bring AI into merchandising. Founded more than two decades ago, Zobrist Software Group brings deep enterprise commerce expertise to every engagement and is a certified women-owned business (WBENC). Headquartered in Westlake Village, California, the company's Smart Merchandiser platform is trusted by brands including 5.11 Tactical, Sorel, and J.Jill. Zobrist Software Group has completed SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 examinations for Smart Merchandiser, reflecting its ongoing investment in enterprise-grade security.
