Before using it, requests often came in through multiple channels—email, chat, spreadsheets—which made it hard to track status, ensure compliance, and keep approvals moving. Zip centralizes everything into one standardized intake flow, which removes a lot of guesswork and reduces the time spent chasing information. It also provides clear visibility into each step of the workflow. Instead of wondering where a request is stuck, I can easily see who the approver is, what’s pending, and what the overall timeline looks like. This transparency speeds up cycle times and makes cross‑functional coordination much smoother. Another problem Zip solves is the lack of consistency in documentation and requirements. The team is great too, which makes it even better. I also appreciate that I don't have to spend too much time teaching people in the company how to raise PO requests. Having Zip has allowed us to control our spend effectively, and it's been incredibly helpful in reducing our non-payroll expenses. It's impressive how we've been able to manage procure-to-pay processes across multiple territories with different currencies. The integration with Brex for generating virtual cards is another great feature. Our procurement is super efficient even with just me doing the job for 30% of my time. I like that Zip has many features and find it very user-friendly and highly customizable. It's like you can do everything you almost dream of with it. Having everything in one place with all the documents, automations, visibility, and budget tracking makes things much easier, more visible, and controlled. It also makes us audit-ready. I think everything that has to do with the rules of filtering needs to be a little bit simplified. For example, to identify a legal contact, the user has to type in the name for the legal contact to populate out of the entire population of users/employees.
