## Zephyr Enterprise Reviews
  ### 1. Zephyr is useful for creating and keeping track of test executions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aviv Y. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Things that I like best about Zephyr Enterprise:
1. It allows to categorize tests into directories, helping with organizing tests.
2. It allows to keep track of executed tests.
3. It allows to add screenshots to individual tests - useful when a bug appears and there's a need to show the bug in a screenshot.
4. It allows to share tests and have others execute them.
5. It allows to keep track of progress through graphs.
6. Tests can be divided into phases - adding to organization and tracking capability.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

What I dislike about Zephyr Enterprise:
1. It's not intuitive to navigate through test cases.
2. Using the ZQL for searching through test cases is not intuitive to use.
3. The Zephyr web interface is slow.
4. Zephyr test cases doesn't support emojis.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems that Zephyr Enterprise solved:
1. Allows a way to create and store test cases.
2. Allows to control which test cases to use (sort of like a whiteboard - to select the more relevant tests after "scribbling")
3. Allows to precisely divide the tests into folders and testing phases.
4. Allows for other members to edit my test cases and to execute them as part of team collaboration.
5. Allows to view testing progress in graphs - aiding work estimations and risk-based decisions.

  ### 2. Painful benefits

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt E. | Senior QA Engineer and Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

With Zephyr I can create tests right inside Jenkins that leverage labels and components and release cycles.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I find creating steps to be an awful editing experience. I tend to write tests in the ticket description instead just so I can avoid the cumbersome work of filling out steps.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to create test cyles that, when run, can create analytics so other people can see what I tested.

  ### 3. Easy and time saving test management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul S. | Sr. Test Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Easy to use, time saving as well. As it allows to import the test cases through spreasheet. The query view provides the quick searching of test cases or other work item which make the task smooth. Test case execution also is very quick and provides an option to attach the snapshot for each step or whole test case as well along with the defect linking.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The only feature which is irritating is while executing the test case, it does not allow a user to update the multiple test step status with less effor. It require to update the status each step one by one.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick and easy test case creation, execution and defect linking

  ### 4. Use for Test Cases and Test Suits creation and test execution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia T. | Software QA Analyst I, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Easy and intuitive to create test cases with any language you like, I use Gherkin. Easy to wrap them up in test suites and run them.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Hard to search my test cycle, the one I created, among the test cycles of others. The system is lagging in search.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and following a test plan, providing a template for creating test cases, and following steps. It makes me more productive while testing the software. It keeps all test cases in one place easy to run when I need to do it.

  ### 5. The best software testing tool

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Zefyr helps as to integrate developement proccess together in Jira together with test using. It give a good overview about the healt of our software and where we need to focus testing in deleveries.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

We don't like that the bashbord load slowling sometimes

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

System testing and acceptance testing

  ### 6. Zephyr for Jira

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob H. | T, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Integration into Jira means no app switching and improves workflow. Can build up a library of test cases with version control and re-use them to each regression or smoke test cycle

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Sometimes the lags waiting for test cases or cycles to load . Not being able to clone test Plans is frustrating as you can clone test case and test cycles

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Replacing test cases written in Excel. Reuse of test cases means increased efficiency and collaboration between teams which means we are more productive and QA is not a bottleneck for regression or smoke testing

  ### 7. Meets expectations, but for those who use Jira

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marly A. | Analista de QA Sênior, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Organization. Makes everything easier and more practical.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Be specific for Jira. There should be a version of the software for free use.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped organize the structuring and execution of the tests.

  ### 8. Zephyr Test Managment Tool Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kıristin . | QA Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Creating test cases step by step and adding test data with their own steps is very useful. Creating folder and under folder, you can create however you want a folder.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

We can not delete one test case without adding it to the archive. On Plans tab is not useable and we cannot use it. For Cycle we should add a Folder and after that, we can add test cases.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can create test case suits, writing test cases part by part under their modules. Adding test cases and Executing them and seeing their test results. We can clone the same test cases.

  ### 9. Effective solution for growing orgs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert S. | Search Engine Optimization Analyst, Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Zephyr facilities growth for any team that relies on testing iterations in JIRA. The ability to track sprints and to keep each member of a team on point with deadlines, with file sharing and more are great. If you are note sure about using Zephyr, be sure to start off with a trial version and get a sense of how much it will help your dev team. There are a lot of resources online to help you find the best of the many features offered in Zephyr.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Some of the more in-depth functions are not as intuitive as they could be, but the customer service team is very helpful. The price point for enterprise use is a bit daunting, but you get what you pay for, same as with any other software.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

JIRA functionality here is amazing. Use for small teams is best, though it scales as needed.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We expedited our testing process with Zephyr. There are a lot of ways to get through testing, especially if your organization uses JIRA.

  ### 10. It has been of great help to me when testing my applications in a more objective and precise way

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Federico D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The fact that its interface has a fairly simple and straightforward design is excellent for us to use without any problems, the fact that it is not necessary to be an expert programming to use it is also quite practical when making your use, in short, it has been of great help to us for everything that the software quality testing process entails, in the sense that it is of great help when verifying and corroborating that the entire system works perfectly and without any type of inconvenience, and that in response to all the requirements requested by the client, the fact that it measures in a fairly objective and precise way the effectiveness of each of these aspects makes me have great reliability in the results obtained, the panel Statistics is of great help when having a general view about the reality of the project and if it is necessary to make any modifications to any system module.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

There are many errors that can affect the performance and performance of the application, however it is enough that the reports to the customer service team and they quickly solve it, however I still believe that they should work better to prevent one from noticing of that type of failure.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been of great help to me when testing my applications in a more objective and precise way before making the final delivery to my clients, in such a way that I can verify that indeed all the software developed complies perfectly with all the requirements demanded by the client and that it helps them to perform their functions without any problem.

  ### 11. Zephyr family of products to keep pace with accelerating software delivery lifecycles.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Leading product and IT teams in finance, healthcare, media, mobile, IT services and enterprise leverage the Zephyr family of products to keep pace with accelerating software delivery lifecycles.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The only con to Zephyr, is its ability to manage role-based securities. Also, the test case description does not allow rich text format.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Robust two-way synchronization with Jira. Automatically sync's with sprint stories and bugs. Ease of use with solid API integrations and plug-ins with other major release pipeline applications. Customer support and interactions have been outstanding. Zephyr has a Customer Advisory Board, which meets twice a year, to listen to, and respond to the industry. The product and team have advanced rapidly, allowing our organization to accelerate our DevOps initiative. Zephyr continues to be on the foreground of innovation, as seen by their latest release named "Maestro," their DevOps plugin that takes Zephyr to the next level, as a qualitative test management solution. Very satisfied with all aspects of the product and its future road-map.

  ### 12. Zephyr

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Zephyr Enterprise, the robust enterprise test management platform that manages all aspects of the testing lifecycle, is provided as an on-premise installation as well as a SaaS-based installation. Zephyr fits and enhances any test methodology that you might be using as a part of your software development lifecycle: Waterfall, Agile, V-Model or a hybrid.

By being organized into logical hierarchy starting from a department, to projects – to releases or iterations, coupled with applications to cover different parts of the testing lifecycle, Zephyr allows a rigid process flow to be flexible enough to accommodate changes.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

There were some bugs found after major releases, but these were always turned around and resolved very quickly after reporting them. If we found areas that required new feature requests or enhancements, these are generally delivered in a 4 or 8 week cycle

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 14. Zephyr for Jira Cloud - Good testing management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorena N. | QA Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I am using Zephyr in my last 7 years, I love the tool and help me a lot to organize test plans. Much easier to track the Test cycle execution and observe any deviation.
Also is very helpful to have the TRazability matrix cross Story, easy to see all the test cases to be covered and Also the Dashboard reports are so helpfully.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Zephyr for Jira Cloud has plenty of room for improvements but it is ok so far. One of the things very hard for us, especially when you have plenty of project in Jira cross the Core, you are not able to shared test cases cross Projects, Also the test cycle, not allow you to organize test cases per Order, so. manually we need to name the test cases by numbers.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

My recommendation is only for Zephyr with Jira Cloud. If in Jira you are having multiple projects, cross the same platform and the chance to shared test cases is big, I will recommend creating one special project for Testing and all the tester create test cases there. As soon as is set up and then you need to change the settings and move test cases into another project, you will lose all the Test Execution History and also all the evidence. So will be hard to move all.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test Management --> big improvement when you have a big team and are you able to distribute exeuction cross team.
Reporting --> Not more nightmares with a spreadsheet, and county pass and fail, here all done automatically, ZERO effort
Accountability --> You are able to see per test cases executed all the evidence, what was test, when and who tested. Same here I save a lot of time when a Stakeholder requested for evidence of feature tested and covereage.

  ### 15. Nice Test Case Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhil K. | Muhil, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Integration with other software applications is easy with lot of API's and plug-ins support. Easy to create test plans. Easy to execute test cases and monitor daily test case executions as well.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

It is not that user friendly tool. Not much flexible for agile process.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Provides great flexibility in updating information. Integration with other software applications is made easy.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can use structured and free form test execution cycles for running manual as well as automated scripts. The ability to run manual or automated test cases in tool of our choice provides a greater scalability. We can monitor our testing progress in real-time.

  ### 16. Just the right tool any team would need for Software Testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed S. | Software Engineering Director, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Very easy, intuitive and constructive way to create test cases with all required details, execution cycles and test summaries. The way it allows linking bugs to execution and traceability reports is really amazing. Also the test execution gadget that you can add to your JIRA dashboard is very simple and yet quite helpful and informative. The support team/resources is incredibly helpful and responsive and fairly good to help you solve/answer any issues/questions you might have. The product is overall being rapidly and efficiently developed. I highly recommend for almost teams of all sizes. I would love to see more features and development for the reporting capabilities of Zephyr.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Reporting is not as powerful as it should be given the overall powefullnes of the product itself. Traceability report is super thing but it's not easy to extract and use.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Software Test Case Writing, Management and Execution.

  ### 17. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa H. | Sr. QA Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The seamless integration with JIRA makes it a valuable tool for our team. Test results are very clear and easy to read. It's very easy to modify tests for new functionality and track previous executions.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I was using an older version initially and couldn't copy and paste steps between different tests, but that has already been addressed.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Zephyr to specify the requirements for manual testing which cannot be automated, and also for the translating test steps for our testing automation. Zephyr for Jira provides a simplified layout that keeps our tests consistent. Because we are able to search by Components, that makes it easy to identify which tests need to be modified when changes are made.

  ### 18. Software that helps manage external QA resources

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Ability to see test coverage in one place and easily generate new suites of tests.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Nothing, I think the software is well made.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Has greatly helped us with managing outsourced QA team. The external team runs manual test validation (regression / smoke tests) daily and updates the status of the reports as they run through the test with each of their test devices (iOS / Android on different versions).

  ### 19. EASE OF TEST - A WONDERFUL TOOL

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saurabh S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I think having a framework set for how to go about writing and executing test cases is the best feature.

The way the steps can.be distributed, executed and reported makes it a lot simpler and straightforward for the developer to check, for a QA to track and for a manager to review.

Great Asset I must say.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

At times I believe the execution cycles take a longer time may be reduce a few details

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to automate a lot of our process using Zephyr. It helps present a narrative in front of the end customer and also helps us track if the requirements have been satisfied. As I said a great tool to have.

  ### 20. It was advanced and didn't have a lot of material to learn how to use it.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I like that it has the ability to copy test cycles. That saves a lot of time. Also, I like the visibility of where users are in their processes. Probably the biggest thing that I like is that is links to Jira and I don't have to work on 2 different platforms and do double the work.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Going from a spreadsheet format to Zephyr, I love that it does a lot of stuff but it was a really big hurdle to overcome all of the new processes without a bunch of material on how to get going.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zephyr saves me double work by tying into Jira where our development team does all of their development/break-fix items.

  ### 21. Linking test and issue management.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas Z. | Test & Quality Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Great integration into Jira: One common tool for issue management and test management. Provides good overview about current test activities and status of tests. In case of defects issue test executions can be directly linked to issues.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

- It would be very helpful, if order of tests could be fixed within a cycle and this order should be part of cycle clone operations. This would help to group and optimise test executiuons.
- Sometimes Cycle -> Folder -> Testcase is not sufficient. It would be very helpful if Folders itself could contain Folders to structure test cycles in a better way.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage testcases and testsuites for several projects. Reporting of test results improved significantly.

  ### 22. Has helped our QA department vastly!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Zephyr has made our QA process more visible, streamlined and increased collaboration among teams across regions.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

1-The billing - We have just two employees, our QA team, using Zephyr. We get billed for every other employee added to our JIRA project.
2-That we cant easily choose which JIRA projects it should and shouldnt appear on.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

It is a great tool if you have an Agile development process where in there is clear flow of user stories. Easy to install and get started quickly. Great tool to use with Jira. If your team is greater than 10 members, the billing is way cheaper. Our team has seen great improvements in our QA process thanks to Zephyr. The development team have also benefited being able to track reported bugs. Reporting has been easier and has helped identify problematic areas and help improve overall product quality.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing using JIRA user stories in a more streamlined fashion has increased the output of our QA team. We are able to view our testing results with the 'big picture' - how well have we done or not done and where.
It has also made it easier to report the test results.
We were not using any specifc QA tool before. Zephyr has now become a standard part of our QA process.

  ### 23. Awesome Testing Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron L. | Lead Developer, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

It integrates right into Atlassian's JIRA Cloud!

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Sometimes it can take a while for the test executions to load

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Its a bit hard to understand the best way to set it up at the beginning, but once you have fully integrated it, it works quite well.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has streamlined our manual testing process and works well alongside our other automated testing softwares

  ### 24. Great concepts for Jira testing, but slow to evolve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Forrest S. | Director of Product Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Zephyr makes it easy for our highly-manual was system to be bunches into suites a tests and executed repeatedly release after release , replacing and evolving the individual tests along the way.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Zephyr Forrest ship Berry rapids features improvements, has no test execution history that can be attached to bugs, and generally has a "good enough" but not great ui inside Jira.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual QA testing suites that are both reusable and editable are critical for us - we manage a very complex system of QA for hardware and softwares using Zephyr.

  ### 25. Zephyr - Best tool for Test Management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

It is best test tool used as a Add-on in Jira to Stream line test case management. The great feature is its interactive test case creation and execution. It can be used to perform manual test or to execute automated tests. Overall it is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

It doesn't do automated testing in Jira.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

It has a flexible issue management / test case management and requirement management mechanism

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our QA's are using Zephyr to execute their test cases which is also provides end to end solutions for all agile teams.

  ### 26. Manange and lead Test automation and all other QA activities for Simility-Paypal Service

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

There can be more features added to zephyr to help test management along with its integratioin with jIRA and other tools.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

its a good product

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test management
Test execution
Test cycles
Test repository

  ### 27. Useful in day-to-day testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I really like how easy it is to perform and complete tests. The user experience is pretty seamless to go through without having to give much training. The tool allows us to feel confident that testing will go smoothly. It is really easy to track.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I dislike how hard it is to import multiple tests. The importer into Jira is inconsistent and not user friendly. I never feel confident that it will import the first time I try it.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to confirm that people are looking for the correct information when testing. Having the ability to list out each step makes it easier for my team to complete their testing.

  ### 28. Zephyr is professional help to manage your testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I like how Zephyr evolves. Using it for a bit more than one year and there were several updates with real improvements. Clean and usable user interface.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

My team is using it in JIRA as a plugin. Organising tests to tests sets could be better, more intuitive. Performance sometimes feels slow.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Zero time learning curve and setup time to start using it with JIRA Cloud. Benefits become visible immediately.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to manage manual testing for our product (in JIRA as a plugin). The visibility of the testing effort makes planning easy, and having an overview for the progress in a test execution is really a great help.

  ### 29. Great Testing Software that integrates with Jira

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary S. | Development Operations & Atlassian Support Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I am a huge fan of the seamless intergration into Jira Projects that zephyr offers. The ease of use of zephyr when creating test cases within Jira projects and re-using test cases to run duplicate QA tasks make it a valuable tool for my daily work. We use Zephyr to QA servers that are created to make sure they are all configured correctly before we hand them off to the developers who will be using them in their production environment. It is important that the test steps can easily be duplicated and re-used because I often find myself performing the same set of test steps over and over again.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

We have to maintain the test cases in 2 views, in the active sprint (i.e. the normal Jira workflow to mark the test cases as done) and in the Zephyr tests module to mark the test cases status. Other than that I highly enojory everything about the software

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zephyr solves the problem of test management within our organization. I have realized it solves the problem of keeping track of past tests we have completed and stores them seamlessly with other tickets within various Jira Projects.

  ### 30. The Jira integration is not he best

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The stats and graphs, they are quite handy

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The Jira integration is not intuitive. I think it will be better if it integrated with the tickets instead of creating a new type

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Try something else, at least if you are planing to integrate it with Jira

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the test management tool we use in our company, it does the job but I think there is better alternatives

  ### 31. Zephyr software review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

suite of tools to optimize speed and quality of software testing and empowering with flexibility

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

During new releases software has issues and takes time to fix

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hide bug incidence rates, visibility, project schedule overruns

  ### 32. Good product but improvements can be made

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

We are using Zephyr for Test and Defect Management and its easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Reporting can still be improved. Zephyr also needs to be improve the performance of the product

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Get the enterprise edition rather than the Cloud if possible due to its extensive features. Cloud is still a great product for a easy to use and easy to administer test management product.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single tool to manage End-to-end test and defect management. Zephyr has provided us key information such as traceability, ability to track and monitor testing progress and management visibility.

  ### 33. Love the seamless integration with Jira and the ability to retain execution history

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherri D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I love the ability to clone a complete folder or an individual test case to contain for regression testing, as well as the ability to easily view execution history. The integration with Jira makes audits a breeze, with the ability to trace/link Jira tickets/requirements to Zephyr test cases.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Large edits to a test case can be cumbersome.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Get the trial version and try it out. You will not be disappointed.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Zephyr for Jira, my QA team used google sheets to manage test cases. Since converting all our test cases to Zephyr for Jira, we can quickly clone and continue regression testing over multiple releases. We have the execution history to show issues. We can clearly trace requirements from dev to QA to production.

  ### 34. A simple but effective tool for managing testing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The simplicity of the software and how it helps me to organise my test cycles

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

It has sometimes not loaded when there have been software updates and I have to contact the support team which inhibits my testing

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organising my testing for system releases

  ### 35. Versatile and centralised Test case management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

1. Versatile and centralises test management software.
2. For big teams, easy process of test cycle management.
3. Transparency in the process and progress of testing.
4. Easy integration with Jira.
5. Very good for big teams to keep the process in a single place for the software assurance team and the management team.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

1. Overpriced.
2. If we link it with the Jira, it is not possible to limit the pricing to a smaller team of testers. If it is a team of 100 users with 10 people tracking the test management cycle, it will take the pricing for 100 users.
3. Two persons can't execute a same test case and log the results.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to,
1. Centralises Quality assurance team and test management.
2. Product owners can see the test coverage and issues raised as per it.
3. We get Reports on a build performance as per the acceptance criteria.

  ### 36. Powerful and Versatile Testing Integration with JIRA

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim B. | Director Of Quality Assurance, Telecommunications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

- JIRA integration allows us to tie directly with our agile development environment. This tool pulls in all of the versions and stores the results of all tests within JIRA.
- Documentation is well done. It is easy to figure out the settings and implementation.
- Allows us to create tests with different steps. Each test cycle can be customized with the tests we want to use.
- Tests are able to be reused for many different cycles. Each test run is logged and compared to previous test runs.
- Permission schemes allow the users to be given only the privileges they need.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The tool could use more notifications to make sure the team stays up-to-date. Currently, we do not receive emails when tests are completed. The tool comes with helpful JIRA dashboard widgets which help the team stay in touch.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

There is no reason not to try it. You can get a few months of a free trial through Atlassian. We tried it for a couple months and were happy with what we saw. We purchased the product and have seen an increase in testing effectiveness and efficiency. I highly recommend this product.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We never had a way to perform and log testing on our products. We would test, but there would be no documentation. This tool allows us to write tests ahead of time and use them for each release of our different products.

  ### 37. DO NOT USE! TERRIBLE

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Nothing, its clunky, hard to move around, completely time suck when copying test cases from other projects, you have to attempt to move multiple times, it creates duplicates in the existing test suite. I have been in QA for 20 years and have never used such a P.O.S. We are moving to a different test tool this year and all of us in this organization (10,000+ employees) can not wait.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Just about everything that it does I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Absolutely Zero. Needs to be thrown away and completely rebuilt under another platform.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NONE it creates more time suck opportunities.

  ### 38. Great way to track test cases in Jira

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Walter V. | Systems Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Our company was using excel files to track test cases. Moving to Zephyr was a large step forward for automating/tracking our test cases

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

We are currently looking to add BDD test cases, and Smart Bear has said they are looking into this.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking test cases outside of an excel spread sheet

  ### 39. Provides a central point of truth for all testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Allows us to see from within JIRA exactly what is going on with testing

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The interface is a bit clunky and test cases take a while to load

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Ensure you always keep Zephyr up to date with your actual test cases. Getting behind or out-of-sync can be painful

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A top-level view of everything that is going on in our testing environment

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Have a clear idea what you want to do with Zephyr

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having testing cases organised (manual tests) and measuring progress of UAT

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I like the test suite management feature best about Zephyr.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

It does not allow for easy integration with automation tests.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Please be sure to test out Zephyr first before deciding to replace your current system.
I'm glad I made that switch to Zephyr.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easy for me to stay on top of feature testing and tracking. The test suite management definitely helped me and my team in making sure that all QA activities have been accounted for.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel G. | Project Manager, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Ability to relate test cases to Jira tickets (especially requirements and bugs).

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Sometimes, test cases can flood projects and it's difficult to separate software tickets from test tickets.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Ease of use and improved tracking is incredibly effective

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 45. QA engineer (11 years of experience)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Test cases and folders structure
Ability to link test cases and defects

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Lack of prioritization
Issues with the speed (cloud version)

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Zephyr to maintain and execute our regression test set (as well as execute test-cases to check new functionalities) - for now it's much easier than in Excel)

  ### 46. Basic and efficient test management tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz H. | Test Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

-Very easy to implement
-Provides good reporting

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

-Bulk editing of test scripts isn't always the easiest
-Can clutter Jira without sufficient configuration knowledge of Jira

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a cost effective test management tool without huge yearly fees whilst we grow the team.
Subsequently this has allowed the team to move away from spreadsheets and work more efficiently.

  ### 47. Great for Test Case management!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Great way to organize test cases and provide reuse. Teams currently use a lot of spreadsheets, and spend a lot of time rewritting common test cases.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Missing BDD (saw a demo that says an integration is coming)

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

Make sure to invest the time upfront to switch from solutions like spreadsheets. Seems like a lot of work, but worth it.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping organize test cases. Reuse of test cases.

  ### 48. Tools to manage your QA pipeline

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Create a pipeline and reuse it every time, no need to reinvent your pipeline every time you run it

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

the user interface is a bit confusing where to find what

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage all of our regression and integration testing through Zephyr, it made life easier

  ### 49. Very good for metrics results inside Jira Project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar B. | Senior Release Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

I like it cause whenever you want to watch the metrics from your project you can see always the information reliable and all about your test execution.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Sometimes it is a little bit slow or bit of confusion when trying to find a custom field

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit we have in our project is that we can have the test cycle information very easy for everybody alone the project or for any supervisor we want to show metrics about it.

  ### 50. It works, plenty of room for improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Zephyr Enterprise?**

Integrates well with JIRA, and it adds developer functionality in a way that doesn't required reinventing the wheel.

**What do you dislike about Zephyr Enterprise?**

The API (ZAPI) is a separate product (two things to pay for, two things to maintain) and it doesn't work over https yet. The permissions are kind of hard to work with.

**Recommendations to others considering Zephyr Enterprise:**

If you are using JIRA, then Zephyr makes sense for testing. It offers a lot of features, but the documentation could always be better. We have been using it for a year or so and we like it enough to keep it, but we are regularly modifying it to work better as we figure it out. Also, if you want to use the API, remember you will have to purchase ZAPI separately and it doesn't currently have https support.

**What problems is Zephyr Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to set up and run tests in a 3rd party application which required developers to use multiple applications to track everything. Now we can do it all in JIRA.
