"Serious Billing Issues: Subscription Cancellation Ignored and Wrongfully Sent to Debt Collectors"

What do you dislike about Yousign?

Despite following their cancellation procedure, my request was not processed. I experienced several unauthorized charges, and my situation was escalated to a debt collection agency without any resolution or response from their support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yousign solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used Yousign in May 2025 for a single document requiring a QES signature. I subscribed and cancelled the same day, well ahead of the next billing date, following their 15-day cancellation policy.

However, Yousign still attempted to charge me several times in June and July for a subscription I had already cancelled. In June, I reached out to support, providing screenshot from my account, clearly stating that I requested cancellation, but it never seemed to be processed, which for me, as a digital marketing specialist, was a clear indication of a technical problem between their website and CRM. My concerns were ignored. Months later, my case was handed over to a debt collection agency, which tried to recover payment I do not owe.

Extremely disappointing experience, shameful even for a SaaS. According to other consumer reviews, it seems common for Yousign to ignore cancellation requests and continue charging, relying on the fact that most people won’t escalate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A deceptive and unacceptable business practice"

What do you like best about Yousign?

Theoretically, you can buy a unique qualified electronic signature. "Theoretically" being the important word. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yousign?

I am a sole proprietor recently established in France, and I am discovering with astonishment that I am being charged a monthly subscription that I was absolutely unaware of. At no point was it clear that my initial payment for a single electronic signature would lead to a recurring subscription.

The Yousign website is anything but intuitive: it took me an excessively long time just to understand what type of advanced signature corresponded to my needs. After paying the equivalent of $58.44 USD for a single electronic signature—a sum already quite high—I now find myself with a new bill of €36 (or $44), even though I haven't used their service this month!

Their response is completely lacking in flexibility and empathy: they hide behind obscure terms and conditions to refuse to cancel this unfair payment. It's a billing method that borders on fraud, exploiting customers without any scruples.

Don't fall into the same trap. Zero stars, and a warning to anyone considering using this service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very intuitive interface, yet elegant and efficent.

App covers all needs, is very reactive.

Pricing is reasonnable.

What do you like best about Yousign?

The interface is very easy to use and allows you to focus on the essentials. Everything is centralized in the dashboard, and invitations and sendings are very easy to create. I don't really have anything that I don't like. The two things I'd wish they implement would be, that the email to send the contract would be more customizable and that the fields snap while I'm dragging them, so that I know that they have the same size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Yousign?

What do you dislike about Yousign?

The .csv file does not accept special characters or spaces. How do we handle names like El Houcine or Débédé?

In the things I don't understand but where I might have missed the settings:

- It's not possible to automatically add my signature so I don't have to validate 181 times for 181 contracts.

- The search window "Who would you like to invite to sign?" should already be selected; when you're doing this in a sequence, it saves time.

- Each time, "My new invitation" needs to be replaced; the field could be empty, and in that case, it could say "so-and-so invites you to sign a document on Yousign."

The contracts come back with the indication "signed," which is good, but not those that are in a ZIP file...

We have to click on each invitation to download the contract. Why can't we select all invitations and download everything at once?

In short, for now, I'm not convinced. I don't feel like I'm saving time. The only advantage is on the signatories' side, which is something, but I would have liked more ease on my side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to fully customize the emails that are sent for asking a signature. This is not possible actually but I hope it could be available in the future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Yousign:

If you need a simple and friendly solution to sign your documents, you can go with Yousign. Moreover, they will soon make publicly available a workflow feature, currently in beta test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
