**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

Replaces old age document based sharing. Saves time transferring academic records. Had to connect to customer service a couple of times and they were really helpful.

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

They should a add an feature to access records remotely outside campus and maybe uploading speed can be increased even if they want to charge a bit higher. It’s a bit slow compared to Dropbox and Box while uploading.

**What problems is YellowFolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To resolve the clutter of paper files and maintaining them over time. School records are easily saved and retrieved. But still some scope for features to be improved.

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

The overall experience is very user-friendly, especially since the new droplet was introduced.  The end user has the ability to select their preference of uploading capability from scanning directly, uploading, virtual printing, or the droplet feature.  The box level process of scanning our archive permanent records included a very professional process from the packing and pick up service to the quickly sending records as we are waiting for the box levels to finishing scanning.

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

We are still in the learning process so we have some learning curves to overcome - however YellowFolder has been great responding to our questions in timely professional manner.

**What problems is YellowFolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have already regained a complete storage room.  We are reducing our paper and supply purchasing.  Are students mobility is very high, the electronic cum folders have also prevented us losing moving folders from one campus to the other.

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

Yellowfolder is a great way to organize paperwork and make it accessible to users anywhere. It is wonderful to be able to access special education paperwork for multiple kids from home without having to take big bulky folders home every night.

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

The biggest drawback is the program isn't always smart enough to recognize where to put documents, but there is an easy way to place it in the correct folder.

It is a great product and allows access to files from anywhere. It is a great way to go paperless

**What problems is YellowFolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to access information on hundreds of students without going to each school building and searching through a folder. It is saving time-and trees!

I like the accessibility of having the student records available on-line. The online webinars are very informative and give clear, precise directions to make Yellow Folder successful for your records. The staff is always willing to help at any given time.

Nothing at all to dislike about this program.

It gives the school more space! Student records can be bulky and space is always a premium. Also, with access restricted you guarantee who sees confidential information.

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

I like having the student records digitized and ability to control access to the folders.  It also makes it easier to send records to other districts.  The support team is amazing.  The data clerks can reach out with a problem and it always fixed  

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

The original set up of the folder structure.  There was some confusion, but it was worked through.  I don't even like to say I disliked it, it was just getting the understanding which takes time and usage.

**Recommendations to others considering YellowFolder:**

You will need to change the mindset of the data clerks.  Make sure they are involved in the beginning.  This will make folder setup easier and have them scanning sooner.  It was hard for some to give up the paper copies, but once they started scanning and seeing the benefits, they prefered the digital records.

**What problems is YellowFolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Space and compliance issues.  Digitizing student records has helped with the not having to house the records and each campus.  Compliance in record maintenance and the file cabinets themselves.

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

The dashboard is easy to navigate.  Their support and training staff are great!  OCR scans of the uploaded .pdf files allow the system to electronically file records to match individuals.

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

Occasionally, there are records that don't link to the correct person.  The user has to click on the record and select the person matching the record.  

**Recommendations to others considering YellowFolder:**

Setting up the correct uploads to YellowFolder is key to success.  Each module requires it's own upload of data.

**What problems is YellowFolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We just began using YellowFolder during the summer.  We hope to upload stored paper records and shred them.  This will free up a lot of storage space.

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

Yellow Folder holds a lot of information and can be accessed with advanced searches. It has saved space in our offices by eliminating all the space that file cabinets takes.  It also eliminates excessive paper and is available to all the staff to view. 

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

So much information was taken to scan into Yellow Folder from our district that it takes awhile to scan through all the data to locate the pages needed.   Also the time involved with logging in and logging out like many of electronic systems.  Of course when the system has to be re-booted or has shut down takes away time. 

**Recommendations to others considering YellowFolder:**

Yes, it  simplifies mass folders and files and makes them accessible to multiple people

Elimination of so many paper copies and files in the office.

I love that I have access to all student files no matter where I am. It saves my back from lugging around giant comprehensive folders!

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

I wish the "pre-yellow folder" section could be organized. Students who are in high school may have 800 page packets to comb through to find info.

**Recommendations to others considering YellowFolder:**

Get familiar with the layout so you can navigate it quickly and easily.

**What problems is YellowFolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have access to all files at my fingertips. I have been in meetings where administrators have asked for student's previous testing scores and within minutes I can have them pulled up.

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

I love the team at Yellow Folder.  The are VERY responsive and on top of things.  If I need anything I message an have a reply back within minutes  They monitor the system closely and if they see a problem or question they will contact me right away.  They listen to us the, consumer, and want to make their product the best fit for us and are making strides daily in doing so  The system itself is user friendly and I don't feel I need a ,"For Dummies" manual sitting beside me to operate the system.  Also the system can be set up to personalize your company. 

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

I really have nothing to say about disliking this product or the company My experience as been nothing but positive!  I have said many times I will be the first person to promote this company and product 

**Recommendations to others considering YellowFolder:**

You will not be disappointed.  This company is top notch and one the cares about it's customers.  The team is dedicated to making the process easy and painless.   I recommend this company 100 percent to anyone in the education setting

We are a relative new customer with Yellow Folder.  One major issue we are solving is all information in one located area by using this system.  Since the system is web based we an access from any where if a question arises and not waiting till in office on net work.  This means our employees that work out in the field and who are not in the office on a daily bases  can access the files from those locations an not call office or wait for a day they are back in the office.  This allows them to complete their jobs fast and effectively.  Also our cost and time.  Cost on purchasing paper and time to processs/search records as decreased.

It's hard to narrow it down one best thing. Customer service is top notch! The staff at Yellowfolder are so nice, super helpful and really strive to make their costumers happy. The site is very user friendly and Yellowfolder offers many options to meet a variety of paperless needs. Weekly webinars are available to provide constant training.  

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

If I am to pick a dislike, I have to get super picky and say that I wish I wouldn't get automatically logged out if I am not active after a while.

Highly recommend this product!

**What problems is YellowFolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the issues we were having that made us look into paperless was having records removed for use and not returned to the filing cabinet in a timely manor. It was very frustrating to not have records available when we needed them because someone else was using the file. With Yellowfolder, everything is online and available to everyone who needs them. That's been a real time saver for us. The savings we have on paper, ink & copier usage is also a great benefit.

I like that I can easily upload files and retrieve them whenever needed. 

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

I dislike the layout of the homescreen. It's too busy and needs to be all put into compartments or easy tabs to click on.

They store our official records for us, so we don't have to keep years-worth of files.

I don't know enough about Yellow Folder to dislike anything.  I can download files, but that's about all I know.

Not scanned in correctly.  Records are not all where they should be. Or when I scanned the documents in, it was portrait, but it shows on YellowFolder as landscape and data is missing.

The YF logo...it’s cute with the actual yellow folder

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

Product could be more intuitive in its usage, many features are quite cryptic. When uploading information to YF, surprised at the volume of files that do not end up uploading, because of errors. Would be super-helpful if file names were descriptive, rather than just a series of letters & digits. Uploading can take not just hours, but an entire business day. Really dislike that there is currently no way to delete files once we have uploaded them to an employee’s file.

In theory, the idea is a good one. It should be good to access records remotely and access such records even when off campus. 

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

In execution, it is frustrating at best. Whereas previously teachers and support staff would have free or access to student records, now, only committed individuals are able to access records. This place is unnecessary burden on a select few individuals. Furthermore, the burden of scanning, faulty or missing records, improper scanning, mis-categorized records, etc makes the system laborious.

Remote access is a solution.

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

It is a cloud storage option, so I am able to store documents on the web that are then made accessible to the rest of my team. 

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

It lacks many of the features that one could expect from a software like this in 2018. You can't tag files, you can't sort by employment type, it is just raw, unfiltered storage. The "automated" filing they advertise hardly works, so the system requires a lot of babysitting and handholding. It is frustrating to use.

**What problems is YellowFolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that YellowFolder addresses for us is that we were in need of an electronic storage system for personnel files. They are stored in YellowFolder; however, I find it delivers only the bare minimum in terms of services provided.

The Monthly Data Conference meetings. It is nice to catch up and chat about new features and see how we are doing.

Sometimes there are issues with using certain web browsers (as to be expected with tech), I also use a Mac so at one point there were compatibility issues. These were resolved upon contacting customer support.

We are hoping to resolve the clutter that traditional paper files entail. It streamlines all our personnel files into one location for easy lookup and access.

Our office has recently started using Yellow Folder and I have been very impressed with the friendly and helpful customer service and support that they have provided.

It has been intimidating letting go of our old “paper” processes - but exciting to move in this new “paperless” direction.

Our old file room is at its max. Yellow Folder will prevent us from needing an additional file room - and hopefully allow us to slowly become completely electronic over the next few years.

When verifying the files, it is sometimes difficult to change the date of the files to match what was uploaded. It would help to be able to type in the date versus scrolling through to find it.

That we can print directly from eSPED and e504.

Scanned uploads are extremely slow and at times it is difficult to receive a quick call back.  Also, somehow rights have been given to a clerical position and it has been difficult to have their switched to an administrator.

Quality product, good customer service

I love the way it assists in making everything easy to keep track of and organize. You can find at your need same like wise qualities through this program.

It does take time to get the nuances to it. This is not so bad as all programs must be learned regardless of the tools you use.The backside of the use of this program is very little compared to the upside.

It can make a big difference saving time and very user friendly. It is very reliable too. it can help you organize critical information very easily.

It helped get files put together and organized with even one slight difference in factor. It helped to even more specialize the files. This saves even more time. Time seeking certain details is much more easier.

I like the fact I can find what I need without looking in a paper file or having dozens of files back in my office to process. 
The speed of being able to do my job now is great

think things through BEFORE you make a decision on how to file items. Ask LOTS of questions. Write things down, Ask for help from others who use the product

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

We use to have old records in binders which took up space.  We also had old records in Microfiche but we had to look up names and year they graduated so we could pull the roll to find the student.  Now that we have Yellowfolder, It has been easy to locate old records

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

I believe I need new training so that I can work in the system better.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

**What do you like best about YellowFolder?**

I like the easy way to save records in a school process, the easy and fast data upload is always present when we use this database software. Also, It is not complicated to use, is simple to manage in all camps and subjects

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

The system is only reserved for institutional purposes.

**Recommendations to others considering YellowFolder:**

It allows you to charge an amount of dates in jus second, it is easy to use, it does not need complicated requirements.

The software allows to charge all the records needed when we upload anyone's date at the school. With it I have received thousands of academic records ´and it allowed me to process it fast.

I like that yellow folder is a small company. They are very efficient with my time and they have amazing customer service. 

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

The only con that is also a pro is that they are a small company. However, the more that schools catch on, the more that this company will succeed and grow. It is set up very nicely for the future but as for its current state, I would say it's a con.

Keep in mind that it is growing and it only gets better. Not so user friendly.

It has and currently is helping the massive record storage problems that my school is having.

When editing documents, it doesn’t automatically go back to document list.

I like that access to files can be done without having to pull a file and it makes like easier for instant access.

So afar nothing that I do not like except sometimes I have experiences a slight delay when opening some files.

Enjoy the simplicity.

We are solving instant access rather than having to locate a paper file.  The benefits are endless with easy access and faster access and I do not have to be on the job in case there is a question or emergency.

Paperless is the only positive I can say.  

**What do you dislike about YellowFolder?**

Follow up of problems not addressed.  My yellow folder printer has not worked since May.  I have tried on a number of times to take care of it.  Some of our records have been lost and seem to be unrecoverable.  I was asked to do a remote session in early December to which I called but the tech was not available.  I left a message and still have not gotten a call.

It is very easy to manage your saved information. Search functions are intuitive and organization is easy for even the most tech illiterate staff memeber.

The cost is a big large but the more we use it, the more reasonable it seems.

I love that everything we need is in one location.  Easy to use!  Anyone can do it!

Setting up this program can take a while and it very time consuming
