## About Xano
Xano is the fastest way to create a scalable backend for any app or agent — from mission-critical software to your latest vibe-coded project. As a unified platform, Xano gives you everything you need to build and deploy production-grade software — visually, with code, or through AI — and launch in minutes. Connect to any frontend, deploy with one click, and scale to millions of users. Trusted by 70,000+ builders. How It Works Building modern software usually means stitching together a mess of tools: databases, API gateways, serverless runtimes, integrations, auth, infrastructure, CI/CD, and monitoring. For AI agents, you’ll also need an orchestrator to plan, call tools, and manage workflows. With Xano, you get it all in one place — including a built-in agent builder. - Model data, compose logic, and expose secure APIs. - Integrate with any system and scale automatically. - Design AI agents that use your data and APIs, call external tools, and run server-side with full observability and guardrails. Works With Any Frontend. Use Xano with Lovable, Bolt, WeWeb, Retool, or custom code. Deploy your server-side logic, data, and runtime on Xano with production-grade compliance and reliability. When your prototype is ready to go live, you don’t have to rebuild — Xano scales with you. Why Teams Choose Xano - Infrastructure handled: Compliance, reliability, and scaling are built-in. - All-in-one tooling: Database, APIs, runtime, integrations, monitoring, and more. - Flexible building: Non-coders can use AI or the visual canvas, while pro devs can write and sync code in their IDE. Simply put: Xano takes care of the backend so you can focus on the business logic that makes your app unique.

## Xano Reviews
 ### 1. Efficient Low-Code Solution with Visual Insights, Pricing Concerns

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason M. | Software Manager, Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I like visually seeing the function stack in Xano. It's great because it allows us to visualize the code function stack, which is really helpful for people who aren't the best at reading code. It makes things easier. Plus, we also have the ability to write in the same form for those who are better at coding. I also appreciate how responsive the support is.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

It can be pricey, depending on your growth and scalability. And the outages (not very often now) can be frustrating. We thought that a low code, no code solution would have been quicker to bring a product to market, and it didn't necessarily turn out to be true. No fault of Xano, but our developer stack wasn't optimal

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano allows us to use a low code, no code solution to connect our data to a front end, solving the problem of data connection with minimal coding. (our developer ended up writing a lot of lambda functions/code anyway as they were not familiar enough with Xano)

 ### 2. Xano: a robust and scalable backend, ideal for centralizing business logic via API

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frederic L. | Dirigeant fondateur d'Appy Makers, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano is above all a robust and scalable backend. For example, we have a table with more than a million rows for one of our clients, without causing performance issues.

Next, the strength of Xano lies in its database + API architecture: "Front End" applications will access the database data via APIs that you develop. This allows you to put all the business logic in the APIs, and therefore in the backend (Xano). The Front End applications are thus confined to their role of managing the user interface.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Xano does not allow prioritizing certain APIs over others. In some client projects, this would be useful to us.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano allows us to manage the backend of all our client applications, integrating business logic into the backend, and simplifying the development of "Front End" applications.

 ### 3. Xano - Easier way to manage Database

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nolan T. | Website Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I like using Xano because it’s very easy to use. You can use Xano even if you don’t know MySQL or similar tools, which makes it feel approachable and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

I feel like there isn’t enough documentation available for Xano, and it makes it harder to find clear answers when I need them.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano helps us store user data for the web application we’re using. It connects with Webflow, and the integration has been great.

 ### 4. Ai assistant feature is counter productive

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I was a bit harsh about my last review update but I still maintain that xano should remove asap the ai assistant who is clearly a danger for endpoint and production in general

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

significantly improve ai features ( and delete ai assistant as it's dangerous for production and security )

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano solves the problem of building a powerful and scalable backend (database, server, and API) without writing traditional code. It eliminates the need for backend developers and server management, drastically reducing the time and cost of launching a digital product.

**Official Response from Kartik Grewal:**

 ### 5. Fast Setup with Promising Features but Needs Better User Engagement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Asim I. | Co Founder & Business Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I find Xano very awesome for development. I appreciate the support for time management and stateless parameters, which are crucial for developers. I enjoy vibe coding because it's built with AI and very fast. The Xanoscript feature is also valuable. I appreciate the business logic and MCP server functionality. The setup was a bit easy and fast.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

It's sll good

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano helps with development issues, supports time management, and offers stateless parameters. The 'Build with AI' feature and 'Xanoscript' accelerate coding. It's fast and a bit easy to set up.

 ### 6. Perfect Backend for Bubble.io — Powerful Yet Accessible, with a Small Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua S. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Xano?**

As a Bubble developer, I love that Xano gives me a true backend without forcing me deep into code. The visual API builder, relational DB modeling, and reusable functions let me ship features fast while still feeling “engineered.” It’s the perfect bridge between no-code speed and real backend power—clean APIs, easy auth, environment variables, and background tasks all in one place. Integrating with Bubble is straightforward, and I can evolve from MVP to production without rewriting everything.

I do also like that at any point you can extend functionality with code! Some no-code tools I've used in the past have limitations where it would be nice to use code. But with Xano I can extend with code when I need, while still being able to use the visual editor for the majority of the time.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

There’s a little bit of technical knowledge needed (more so than a complete no code beginner). It’s not a blocker—more like a mindset shift. So even though you don't need to know how to code to use Xano, you do need a little bit of technical knowledge to get started! But overall I think it's super easy to use.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Choice of Country Hosting: Bubble.io has a limitation on only being able to select USA for hosting (or $3500 per month to choose Australia). But with Xano we can select Australia as our hosting country.

Speed to market: We've been able to build and iterate APIs in a visual editor, then plug straight into Bubble front-ends.

Scalability: Move beyond Bubble's scalability limits. Xano helps us build a more scalable solution.

 ### 7. No-Code API Development Made Easy and Be Ready for the Learning Curve to foster Idea development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seerapu N. | Backend Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Xano?**

It lets us developing backend APIs without writing a single line of code besides easy integration with frontend

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

the learning curve is to be estimated before jumping into the process

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is benefitting our development team and also enabling our developers to get themselves to oversee the feasibilities of client requests

 ### 8. Best Backend Ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano gives me a database, an API, and AI Agents — practically without limits — with a great starter plan for developers at just $29. And it works incredibly fast with Nordcraft, which is my front-end solution. Honestly, I’m in love with Xano, with everything it has allowed me to build, including my very first software. Try it out, because it’s absolutely wonderful.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

There was one thing I didn’t like before: the starting price was $99, the cheapest plan. But now they’ve changed it to $29, so at this point, there’s nothing I don’t like about it.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Backend for Nordcraft

**Official Response from Kartik Grewal:**

> Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear how Xano has helped you build your very first software and that the $29 starter plan made things even better. It means a lot to know you’re loving the experience — we can’t wait to see what else you create! 🚀

Thank you,
Kartik

 ### 9. Xano is amazing! Perfect platform for launching projects quickly and support growth.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin Y. | Intermittent Lecturer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano is the quickest way to get a backend and database up and running. Launchig a new idea or project becomes a matter of hours instead of weeks with them. Xano also has great support for scale and security that gives me the confidence to continue using it to launch production products. Their support team is very helpful and responsive and they're continuously improving their product offering and features. I use Xano for all my projects and always recommend others to do the same. I also teach a course at a University and use Xano as a great starting point to help students understand databases, API's, and backends of platforms. Xano visualizes how this works in such a clear way, it greatly reduces the learning curve for understanding of my students.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Like any low-code/no-code solution, you might loose some customization of your backend. However, Xano has been increasing their feature set exponentially and gives me full; confidence they're attempting to fill in every gap. Their realistically hasn't been a use case where I couldn't use them because of features they didn't have.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano is used to support the backend logic for my platforms. I've used Xano many times to bring production apps live and they have always been reliable and consistent. It's by far the easiest tool I've ever used to spin up a backend quickly and get an idea live.

**Official Response from Chris Coleman:**

> Thank you so much for your kind words, Kevin! We're particularly touched to hear that you're using Xano to teach university students. Making these complex concepts more accessible aligns perfectly with our mission to democratize backend development, and your success in using our platform as a teaching tool is a testament to the intuitive nature we strive for - absolutely love this!

Your feedback about the inherent trade-offs in low-code/no-code solutions is definitely heard. We welcome any and all feedback on how we can improve; user suggestions are our number one source for determining platform improvements, and we never want you to feel limited in what you can do with your backend.

Thanks again for taking the time to write us such a thoughtful review!

 ### 10. I really love this tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xavier A. | Formateur & Coach autour des outils No-Code, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

As the CTO of a start-up, I use Xano as the main backend for our application every day, and I must say that this tool has impressed me with its rapid implementation. The interface is intuitive and allows us to create our own endpoints and APIs without needing to code, which enables us to integrate with any tools. The flexibility it offers to integrate all business logic in no-code is a considerable time saver for us, especially compared to other tools like SupaBase. Xano allows us to focus on the essential aspects without having to worry about complex technical details.

Another very positive point is the customer support. It is extremely responsive, even for us who are based in France. We receive responses within two to three hours generally, and that makes a real difference. The documentation is also very well provided, which allows us to manage on our own most of the time.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

We encountered some technical challenges and limitations at the beginning, but over time, the tool has become more and more comprehensive. All the limitations we encountered have been corrected through regular updates, so today, we no longer have major issues. It is a tool that is constantly improving, which is very appreciable.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano allows us to free ourselves from DevOps issues. As a CTO, I don't need to manage a team dedicated to this part, which is a huge advantage. My team is composed solely of Product Builders, people who are closer to the business and less technical. This allows us to offer more creative solutions that are tailored to the real needs of our product, while keeping a focus on innovation and high-value features.

Xano greatly simplifies backend development by allowing us to create APIs and endpoints without code. This saves us valuable time and reduces the costs associated with setting up a complex infrastructure. It perfectly meets our need for flexibility while remaining accessible to people with little in-depth technical knowledge.

**Official Response from Jacques Antikadjian:**

> Thank you very much for your detailed and kind feedback! We are delighted to learn that Xano has become a valuable tool for your startup, simplifying the development of your backend and saving you time. It is a pleasure to know that our regular updates and customer support have had a positive impact on your experience, even across different time zones. We thank you for your trust in Xano and look forward to continuing to support your growth and success!

 ### 11. A Backend builder that doesn't require Programming/Coding.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay S. | Senior Associate - Hospitality & E-commerce , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

the best thing about Xano is that simply anyone who knows coding can make a backend of thier own, its that easy to use, it has a very simple UI, ive used xano twice to test and try and then finally build a backend

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

if one wants toscale their backend its quite a bit expensive to payalmost arounf 2500 usd per year

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it is making it easier for me to build a backend without actually typing running and executing a long 200-500 line long codes, it doesnt require a lot of space energy for laptops or computers, just a simple to use website

 ### 12. Perfect blend of ease of use and powerful capabilities with enterprise grade infrasructure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano is the quickest way to spin up an API, but at the same time there are deep capabilities to handle as much complexity as you need. Everything can be visually edited so there's no coding necessary. The fundamentals of the platform however are grounded in programming logic, so as a user progresses they're learning valuable logic that is useful everywhere. If you run into a situation where coding is preferred, Xano has built in escape hatches to utilize code as well.

There's no faster way for me to setup a Postgres database and API for a client, knowing that everything is built on industry best practices and enterprise grade infrastructure.

The support team and community at Xano is top notch and always there to help out.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Integrating Xano into a traditional Git / code based workflow can still be challenging at times. While there is a version control system built into Xano, its quite limited on basic plans and can cause some frustration when pushing changes in a production environment.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick depolyment of backend (API and database) for websites and apps

 ### 13. Since I started working with XANO my process has significantly improved!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eilon L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano is a platform that solves the biggest problems a provider like I am is having.

I am one of the founders of Deploy, a software development company based in Israel.

We mostly use no-code tools in order to create our clients their dream products.

Before xano, we had to use an outdated, quite slow and unreliable backend infrastructure that was mostly built by companies that do "a bit of everything " and that doesn't concentrate on backend only. That's why, sometimes, the speed and process was a mess and some of our clients were disappointed by it.

And then, we have discovered Xano, and our lives changed for good! Xano's no code backend builder helps us build good and reliable backend solutions for our customers, a backend we can trust and a backend so fast that the clients just have that WOW effect.

I can't stress enough about how Xano has been a huge lifesaver.

To sum up, Xano is the best no-code backend builder out there, and some would say, the best online backend builder.

I highly recommend using it.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Xano is great but it has it's learning curve. For those of you who are afraid of learning a new platform, it's ok.

Xano is not an easy platform to master but it is one that really worth learning.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano solves the scalability issues that most of the "all in one" no code tools have.

Personally, I use xano for almost every project, it's fast, it's stable and the team is great.

10/10, really.

 ### 14. Xano is an excellent and powerful product with even better customer service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano has all the technical capabilitites I need in a sleek UI and inituitive UX. It makes even full stack/backend first timers feel confident and capable! In addition, what brought me to Xano in the first place was its integrations which work amazingly well. Lastly, its customer service with access to office hours 2x week has been incredibly helpful!

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Nothing! Serisouly nothing really comes to mind.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to create a custom learning management system webapp that could be integrated into another partner website. We choose WeWeb as our frontend and Xano as our backend. We needed to develop it super quickly (< 8 weeks) and have limited tech experience. Xano made it possible with a great backend system and plugins for the frontend to make authentication and everything else I needed a lot easier + quicker! It was so simplified and streamlined that I was able to complete it without ever writing an API before this project.

 ### 15. Literally No Better Customer Experience Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emeka K. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

The team is so helpful. They literally took me from knowing nothing about a no-code backend to being able to integrate a new ticketing partner. Additionally, the product is so customizable that it can perform any task.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

The only downside is that there's a somewhat high learning curve. This is to be expected, given how powerful the tool is.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting complex API and automated tasks

 ### 16. Hands down, Xano is the BEST no-code backend product ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuvraj C. | Self Employed, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano is hands down the best no-code backend product ever! It has empowered someone like me, a non-coder, to create incredibly complex solutions within just a few days. It's really user-friendly and intuitive, and once you grasp its concepts, you can accomplish even the most intricate backend tasks imaginable. I'm thrilled about the possibilities that lie ahead with Xano, and I'm extremely grateful for how it has transformed my business and my life.

I want to extend a huge shoutout to Lesa from the Xano support team for her exceptional assistance. She not only helped me understand Xano functions but also went above and beyond by creating incredibly helpful Loom videos. Lesa, you're absolutely incredible!

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

There's absolutely nothing that I dislike about Xano. It's the BEST!!

 ### 17. Best No-Code Backend application available on the market!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Our agency uses Xano on a daily basis and we are huge fans. Xano makes it really easy to set up scalable backends and connect those with various front end solutions. We mostly use the connection to Bubble.io and Weweb.com and the setup is done quickly. The builder itself is very intutive and you can set up database structures and api endoints in just a few minutes. Even with very complex endpoints and big database tables (1+ million recods) the peformance is outstanding. The team behind Xano is pushing updates very regulary and are doing a great job. Also had the pleasure to meet them in person at the NoCode Summit and they took plenty of time to answer all our questions.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

To be honest, there is nothing we`re missing right now. We only had a few support requests over years and the team was helping out very quickly.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a software agency we are developing various web-applications for our clients. We need to make sure, that peformance and security are always on a very good level. We chose Xano as our default backend solutions years ago. They provided a scalable, secure and reliable backend infrastructure for our projects.

 ### 18. Most productive backend solution, even for coders & regular DB admin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillaume M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

With more than 30 years of experience as a DB admin, i've seen many DB solutions and tools to manage them. With Xano, i found one of the best integration for db design, development and API system.
Because of its ease of use, ease of implementation and ease of integration, you don't need to be a DB admin to create and make performant app backends. This very same ease of use or the number of features don't lower its performances. And its DB management approach makes it fully understandable.

Moreover, they have an awesome Customer and Developer Support: always efficiently listening & reactive, providing solutions everytime you need. And last but not least, the community is amazing and very alive.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Actually (as of Jan 2024), the thing that i lack the most on Xano, is a better Visual DB management tool plus few features to manage functions (copy/paste functions/function blocks between API Endpoints, ...) in function stack.
BUT, this comment will become quickly obsolete as you read it, due to their incredible fast rate to publish new releases and improve their editor.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Xano, i have a scalable backend infrastructure that handles my data AND all the business logic on a very performant DB engine. It allows to attach any frontend dev tool, depending on the platform (web, desktop, mobile, iOt, server-to-server, ...) without having to rewrite your business logic.
Their function stack is one that is the closest to a coding language, making it really turing-complete and allowing you to write complex & robust algorithms.

 ### 19. The best of both world for developers and nocoders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frédéric M. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

What makes Xano strong is his versatility. You can carry out small projects quickly and move as quickly as possible towards a stable solution or, on the contrary, build sustainable and scalable software architectures for large-scale projects with a high level of expected scalability and maintainability. Getting to grips with the function stack and database tools is quick for a beginner but the possibilities are still almost limitless for an expert. The product evolves often and offers more and more features that are closer to a complete traditional backend development stack. Everything is done so that an entrepreneur is in a managed and secure environment without having to ask questions, while respecting the high standards of customization and adaptation that a large company may require. The best of both worlds for developers and nocoders.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

It would lack an advanced integrated exploitability and observability system. Where a development team would turn to an ELK stack, someone who does not master the concept or who wants to have their complete backend in the same place ends up with only the dashboard or their own personalized log management. This answers in the majority of cases but there may be something to suggest on this subject. The partnership with ncscale is also a great step in this direction and the functions already dedicated do not currently leave us without answers either.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a beginner or advanced user, I do not want to manage my development, preproduction and production infrastructure for my APIs and business logic myself. I no longer want to build my development environment alone either. I want to be able to log in, build my product and publish it. Xano fixes this problem for me. Best of all, I can benefit from this on my own or with a distributed team that needs to work collaboratively. Xano is the closest thing to an off-the-shelf CI/CD chain in the nocode world, with the development environment included, something you don't often find in the code world, even in large IT departments. This is clearly an asset to take into consideration for traditional development teams who want to rationalize, standardize and optimize their software development stack. And obviously, all of this takes place in the browser. As a CTO, I no longer need a powerful machine for each of the developers on my team, development servers for node, database servers, servers to manage sources and deploy code, etc. ..I don’t even ask myself that kind of question anymore. On-boarding on a project is seamless. We focus directly on the product to be developed, not on the tools needed to develop it, this maximizes the service.

 ### 20. Bad Customer support and Unstable Platform

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

- It's easy to implement no-code simple database and APIs
- They have a great freemium tier

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

- Customer support doesn't listen to the problem when more complexe, if not simple they suggest solution that require a lot of work even when the fault is their due to a bug on an update and jump to conclusion even when proven otherwise
- Customer support jump too easily to ask to pay more money to upgrade the tier, even when that don't work
- Some simple function take a lot of time to implement due to the current no-code interface
- The system is not stable and require a constant developer to maintain the architecture when they do updated
- The system handle badly when need to update a whole data table (Even just 200,000 datas)

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No-Code database for business and developpers that doesn't want to need coded knowledge to have their own custom back-end services.

**Official Response from Chris Coleman:**

> Hi, Jonathan! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry to hear about your issues with both the platform and our customer support team. We are very much aware of how frustrating this can be, especially when you rely on Xano to power your business.

I appreciate your feedback on your experience with our support team; this type of feedback is crucial when improving how we can continue to provide great high-touch support to our users. I can assure you that while we don't always get it right 100% of the time, our support team has a very regimented and thorough approach to troubleshooting issues when they are reported, including a systematized SOP for involving other teams (such as our product or engineering teams). As the complexity of the issue grows, the time that it takes to resolve an issue can grow along with it, and we appreciate your patience as we work through all the necessary steps to come to a resolution.

Your currently ongoing conversation with our support team is still at top of mind, and we're doing everything we can to get you back on track, including working directly with our engineering team to explore any unreported issues with the platform itself that are surfaced by your specific use case.

We look forward to bringing a resolution to your current issue, and welcome more feedback from you as you continue to use Xano!

Best,
Chris Coleman

 ### 21. The best way to build a scalable back-end app!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Incredible capability with the performance, flexibilty and scalability of a full-stack enterprise platform. You can build out APIs for both public and private consumption, with optional custom authentication, leveraging functions built in a simple drag-and-drop interface with either simple function blocks or advanced custom code. I've been developing with it for more than a year, integrated it with my bubble.io app with ease, and will be using it for a production release. Customer support has been great in the (rare!) times I've encountered an issue, with a friendly forum filled with helpful individuals who even go to the length of testing and demonstrating the solution. Best of all? Data is yours and you can export it how you wish, including direct queries to the database. Not to mention they are working on real-time data integrations, making it a true replacement for the bubble.io back-end (my primary goal!). The fixed price model is the way to go especially for a new business to utilise a service like this.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

The interface takes some getting used to, and doesn't play well with touch-screen tablets (the interface is very dependent on mouse input). The logging can get pretty messy too, with URL parameters difficult to view at a glance and accessible only from the main dashboard. The lack of copy-paste functionality between APIs gets very frustrating too, as does accidental deletion of your work if you forget to click "save" without clicking elsewhere. The rate Xano iterates their platform however suggests many of these kinks will be worked out over time.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After experiencing serious performance and flexibility limitations with the bubble.io back-end, I realised my only option is to move to a dedicated back-end platform. When bubble.io changed their pricing model to a consumption model, it made the move to Xano an essential activity to launch my business. The capabilities also give me the option to pivot the front-end away from bubble.io in future towards a better cross-platform solution, or support native mobile apps. Finally, the fact Xano has full middleware capabilities has effectively replaced the need for dedicated server infrastructure. I tried other platforms also, but in many cases found package inflexibility or pricing models entirely unsuitable for my fledgeling business. Xano uses a fixed price model, which is the only practical option for a startup and is not excessive. Given the capabilities of Xano and how critical the functionality is for most apps, as long as the pricing remains tiered as it is now, and is reasonable - I expect the platform to remain our preferred back-end solution for the forseeable future.

 ### 22. The fastest way to build a scalable, secure, and compliant back-end

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wes W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Put simply, I love how my team can focus on developing custom back-ends without worrying about DevOps.

Xano also offers fast and helpful customer support, and it has designed a flexible pricing structure that grows with your business. If you don't have a development background, starting is straightforward, and there's a wealth of tutorials to help you master back-end development. If you are coming from a development background, the language you can use and logic you can deploy will quickly feel familiar.

I also love how the team is dedicated to regularly updating their educational content and streamlining the development interface for a better user experience and overall faster way to develop yoru back-end.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Xano's advanced features come at a higher cost, which might be more than what's needed for smaller projects. While the investment is generally worthwhile for the capabilities provided, the price jump to enterprise-level solutions is notable and could be a barrier for some.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano is solving the problem of lengthy and costly development cycles for us at Rarely Decaf by providing a platform that streamlines the creation of custom web applications. This directly benefits us by enabling rapid development and deployment, which in turn allows us to offer our small business clients efficient and scalable digital solutions at a lower cost and with quicker turnaround times.

 ### 23. Finally, a No Code Enterprise Backend that works and is easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano has a commitment to providing enterprise quality and standards while keeping the experience efficient to get the work done. I most appreciate that anyone can use Xano from day one with easy implementation, yet the tool and company have passed our rigorous vetting for enterprise mission critial requirements. The customer support team is very helpful and Xano is always adding new features and capability that just work. The ease of integration has allowed us to make Xano a primary tool we use frequently on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

The learning curve takes an investment of time for the advance operations. That said, you can use it within minutes and once you pick up on the UI paradigm, they follow those conventions throughout the user experience. You think at first that it is a simple tool and there may be limitations, but then you are surprised as you discover the true power hidden within each level of features.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We reduced our full time employee expense on our ETL build outs by 75% while increasing security, monitoring, and automation.

 ### 24. Best low code backend ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nazımhan F. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

they have a great support especially Lesa

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Its hard to keep up with so many great updates

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My complete backend.

**Official Response from Chris Coleman:**

> Thanks so much, Nazimhan! Please visit us on the Xano Community or reach out to support if we can do anything to improve your experience.

 ### 25. Seems like a solid choice

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I like that their "no-code" solution still offers the option to write custom code. As a developer, there are sometimes things that are too custom for visual development.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

I don't love that it's hosted on Google, I would much rather use amazon and their vast collection of other web services.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides an easy way to build an independent back-end that can interact with a website and a mobile app at the same time

 ### 26. Best no-code backend / API tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wojtek G. | Application Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano is fantastic for effortlessly creating advanced app backends. I use it every day, and it offers everything needed to quickly set up a backend for complex app projects. The process is fast – you can start building and testing your app within minutes. It's an authentic no-code tool, enabling you to craft and manage everything from functions to db design through its intuitive visual editor. Plus, for those who need more, Xano provides options like lambdas and integrations with other tools.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

In terms of data backup and restore functionality, Xano is somewhat limited. It doesn't offer the option for table-level, user-initiated restores. Instead, there are global-level data backups and restores, but for these, you'll need to contact support. Just a heads-up: if your app is particularly resource-heavy, or if you require advanced security features, be aware that the costs could increase over time.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers an advanced backend that can scale with your projects, in terms of both hosting and functionality, all in a no-code fashion. It's easy to use, quick to create, and maintain app projects, providing everything we need to rapidly build apps for ourselves and our clients.

 ### 27. Fast and simple backend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano is great to get set up quickly and offers infinite flexibility as you scale. We transitioned to Xano from both Bubble and traditionally coded backends, and we've been blown away at how quickly we are shipping updates.

Customer support is great too.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Very few downsides – we initially struggled with getting authentication set up quickly but Xano's marketplace of snippets (previously created functions and endpoints that you can copy and paste into your product) helped greatly.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano is creating the most flexible and powerful low code backend, allowing less technical users on our team to participate in the development process and enabling our team to move quicker.

 ### 28. Xano has Transformed my Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bailey F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Seriously, Xano is the best low & no-code tool out there for building Web Applications, it's interface is extremely easy to use, intuitive & packed with features. If you can think your problem through logically, chances are you can solve it using Xano.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

There are genuinely no downsides to Xano, their pricing is fair IMO. The only enhancements I'd like to see are around the UI/UX for the referral program as they have Agency Referrals and Regular Referrals, and differentiating this data is a touch confusing.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano allows us to build low-code Web Applications

 ### 29. Xano is a great tool for both seasoned developers looking to build quickly, and for beginners

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I like many things about Xano. Some include how it forces me to organize code, being able to edit databases like a spreadsheet, how easy it is to integrate into my frontend tool (Weweb), great support and documentation.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Sometimes, the documentation could be more detailed or include more examples. Maybe a way to test the api in the documentation. Some of the filters can be confusing.

I wish there was a way to copy and paste from one endpoint or function to another. I know I can use shared functions, but if I want to quickly copy and paste for a similarut not exactly the same situation, I have to do everything from scratch.
On that same note, I wish there was a way to share or copy paste complex filters.

I wish there was a way to have favorite database tables and endpoints. There are some I visit very often, and that would speed things up for me.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano is solving my need to have a database and quick api/BL development, without having to worry about dev ops or deployment. It also integrates very well with the frontend I am using (WeWeb)

 ### 30. Xano gets you up fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano helped us launch an MVP unbelievably fast. We were happy to discover that Xano could continue to grow with us far beyond the MVP stage.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Most of the issues we had with Xano early on have been improved. The big ones were lack of tutorials, community, devs, but that's all improved to the point that I would say Xano is best in class in providing that type of ancillary support.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano powers our backend and business logic. It's very easy to learn and it shortens the time it takes to go from idea to execution by an order of magnitude

 ### 31. Enterprise grade no-code backend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Xano?**

The ability to build a scalable, sophisticated backend with the ease and speed of no-code.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

There's really nothing I don't like. I suppose for some use cases, cost may be an issue.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No-code tools like Bubble are wonderful and very fast to develop with, but fall short when it comes to scalability, performance and ease of maintenance.

 ### 32. Incredibly powerful and easy to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I love how quicky I can build even complex logic and APIs for R&D. The more I use it - the more I love it.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

The only negative thing I can say about Xano is the lack of realtime - which is hopefully coming soon.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano is the backend platform we chose to build our data centric application on after evaluating all other popular options. The ability to use no-code and also build wit exporessions or Lambda functions allows us incredible speed without any blockers.

 ### 33. There is nothing better, not even close to what Xano offers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

How easy is to set up your database, create endpoints and the logic for each. It's just fantastic! The customer support is amazing as well.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

The free plan could improve, the api rate is too low for it.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything related to the backend development.

 ### 34. Best No-Code customer experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Of all the nocode tools I've tried, from popular Bubble, WeWeb, Airtable, etc., Xano has by far the best and most responsive customer support. Few tools invest as much into their support, Xano's Intercom chat widget actually gets you responses when you need it, and there's also a very supportive slack group. They're open to feedback, and as a developer, that truly allows you to put your trust in them.

Aside from customer experience, their platform is also very robust. We have APIs that work on 10s of thousands of records, and they have not run into any scalability issues. Their transparency into their security posture (Check their security page) allows me to answer to my own enterprise clients easily,

These are true differentiators from the many other tools in the market, which gives me the impression, or have given me the impression that you can't work with them past the MVP stage. Compared to other nocode tools, Xano comes across as a tool that can support serious businesses.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Really wish they would tidy up, or have a proper feature request board. It gets messy, there are repeated requests there and it's hard to find features to upvote on.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can't write code. To that end, nocode has been a gamechanger. We initially built on Bubble but ran into scalability and performance issues. Xano as a backend effectively solves that for us.

 ### 35. Backends made easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** G.R. Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Easy to use and deploy new projects. We can focus on solving business problems.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

The UI could be improved on. Other than that it's great.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano is helping us solve business problems at scale, without the cost of an entire development team.

 ### 36. Absolutely transformed my business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano creates a truly 'ownable' product for non-technical founders/users. Not only does Xano make it vastly easier to create business logic and build applications. The interface provides excellent documentation of the functions underneath each endpoint and the database schema.

This means that end clients have a far greater degree of oversight, understanding and transparency when using Xano over more traditional software development methods. I've found it to be revolutionary for clients without a technical background.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

I genuinely think there are very few downsides to using Xano in the applications that I create with it. If I had to pick one, I would say that the pricing model isn't ideal for specific use cases.

A relatively simple application that needs more background tasks, or faster execution of background tasks than available on the launch plan will have a fairly hefty cost jump to the scale plan to achieve that.

That said, honestly, the development time saved would unquestionably more than make up for it in the use cases I work on.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano helps me build niche B2B SaaS for small businesses in a regulated industry.

Realistically many of the projects I work on simply wouldn't be economically viable with more traditional software development approaches. The applications are often niche internal tools or very specific automation projects which have limited scalability. As such, the 'development automation' inside Xano literally makes a lot of the projects I work on possible.

 ### 37. Xano experience after several weeks.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hans d. | Co-Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I chose Xano for building customer facing apps, where I knew I wanted to have the flexibility to get the UI right to the pixel. As a backend only solution, Xano is perfect for that. But I've seen that Xano can connect to frontend builders like Bubble too.
I found myself up and running quite easily creating the database and endpoins te get and post data.
It was also easy to got e-mails out with Sendgrid and I did a test with payments through payment provider Mollie. That also went well.
The backend is rich with possibilites for creating variables and loops, which were not always there in other products I evaluated.
Coming from the EU, it was essential to be able to be able to host the data within the EU and that they can provide for a GDPR complaint agreement (from the Launch payment plan and up).

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

I would like to have direct access to the PostgreSQL database, but that's only though enterprise plans which is out the of the question for now.
Also, I would like to see easier ways to merge data and text at the server side. It would make it easier to send out more complex e-mails and create things like server side HTML or reports.
For the rest I'm very happy. Xano Chat support has been helpful too.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I takes the hassle out of creating a database and all the backend tasks of an application

 ### 38. XANO is the perfect solution for our client project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

There are many things to like about Xano.

Software development costs are excrutiatingly high, with no end in sight. Xano enabled us to provide a comprehensive solution for out client to fit their budget.

Xano isn't just a data layer tool: It includes business layer functionality also. Processes that otherwise would need to be done the browser can be done on the server.

Once your data tables are defined, Xano generates API end-points that include a CRUD activity. Another huge time and money saver.

Security is great also - there are a number of security methods to bolt-down the APIs.

The user community is amazingly friendly.

The final thing is that Xano is constantly being improved. There have been a slew of improvements and updates since I started using Xano, approx 18 months ago, including functionality for team development and improvements to the UI.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

I don't have much to say here. There is a learning curve, just as there is with any new platform, but you can learn 80% of the things you need day-to-day quickly.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can build an MVP fast - we can run our APIs in the platform to see the data.
Expensive dev staff are allocated away to other things.
Project costs are kept very low.

 ### 39. Startup User - Xano Helped Us Get to Funding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano is very easy to use. For a low-code, no-code solution, we were able to get up to speed fast, create our MVP and release a product. Xano is amazing in powerful features made easy. New developers were using Xano in minutes to hours, not days. For more complex features and usage, the Xano support team provided Loom videos explaining the steps necessary to accomplish the task raised in the support ticket.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Some "function stack" elements need to be redone when cloned. This extra work can take some time to get a new function working. A better clone tool that can modify the tables referenced would be great.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xano is our backend. It's amazing. Complex abilities and services wrapped up in a straightforward interface. Front end developers are becoming full stack developers with the power of Xano.

 ### 40. Next Level No-Code Backend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack W. | Architectural Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

After years of trying to make Airtable into a backend, Xano solved my issues like rate-limiting and authentication in one package. I'm confident that my app will scale, and Xano has the tools to streamline complicated workflows. I use Weweb to build my web app front-ends, and they integrate perfectly with Xano. If I choose to develop a native app in the future, Bravo and Flutterflow also have integrations.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Coming from Airtable, the interface is more intimidating. The database views are the best I have tried for a no-code backend, but they could be more user-friendly. Building APIs is intuitive, but many pitfalls could be solved. For example, you will break connections throughout your project if you need to rename anything (column, table, API). I would also like to see a more graphical API workflow editor, like Make or Weweb show branching paths.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Xano as a database with authentication and complex api connections. Before, I could not connect data to users and ensure that users could only add/edit their data.

 ### 41. Xano Changed The Game For My SIte

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano makes many complex database and API processes very simple, even for those with little to no developer experience. It's also straightforward to integrate with other nocode platforms. Also, unlimited API calls is a huge win.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

At first, the layout can feel overwhelming, but after a couple of days, that feeling disappears. It's fairly affordable compared to other competitors, but still on the more expensive side compared to more traditional database solutions.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running a price comparison website means crunching a lot of external API data at a constant rate. And, because no API is the same, there needs to be a way to transform all of that external data from retailers into a format that works for our site/users. Xano's limitless API call rates make it feel like a true backend to our Bubble site and it's been an incredibly effective way to learn about how APIs work. With no knowledge of any coding language, we're able to crunch through thousands of products from APIs that even require complex security signatures all thanks to Xano.

Without Xano, much of the functionality of our site wouldn't be possible without hiring expensive developers.

 ### 42. The best choice to build a backend without code

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Ssr. Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Xano?**

Xano offers all the components necessary to build a robust backend (databases, APIs, authentication, etc) while been as user friendly enough to allow non-tech profiles to develop features at a fast pace

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

It could be great if Xano would expose direct access to the databases. This will improve the way we do analytics or build back-office apps

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, our team lacks IT profiles (developers, dbasQAs) and with Xano, along with Adalo as a frontend, we were able to launch our app entirely designed by operations-side professionals.

 ### 43. How Xano changed my life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Federico S. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Xano makes building an API extremely intuitive an easy for anyone. If you grasp basic principles such as: array, for cycles, If conditions to build anything you need without dealing with syntax

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

At the moment there is nothing I could say I dislike

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to build a new product from scratch for my startup but I also wanted to be able to modify and improve everything by myself without a real programming background.

 ### 46. Why I'm Excited About xano: A Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Xano?**

-The company is dedicated to making sure its software is the best it can be in order for it to constantly improve.

-Have multiple meetings throughout the week called office hours where you drop in and either to learn or to get help on things you are stuck on right from the co-founders like the top of the top leadership.

-The use of Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and the use of PostgreSQL as a database on Google Cloud infrastructure mean that xano is reliable and efficient.

-The reason I'm writing this review is that I feel like xano is the first real software, application, that has helped me see clearly how things are connected from the backend to the frontend.

-If xano offers public stock purchases, I would be very interested.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

The security of the account is at the instance level, each instance starts now I believe $69 a month, and then of course you can have different workspaces for different projects, however, when you grant someone admin access to one of your spaces in the instance they can have access to all of your data within your spaces. It would be cool if security was further pushed down from the instance level to the workspace level.

**Recommendations to others considering Xano:**

Try it, give it a shot, I would just say keep learning, xano has helped me a lot with the little that I know. I want it to help you too.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used xano to create webhooks, API endpoints for my database, and save data in the xano database that I can access from different front-end services. Working on integrating Google's Dialogflow conversational AI service with HighLevel CRM, which allows communication between a lead and the Dialogflow CX chat bot to convert them into a customer.

 ### 47. My Development Costs Dropped by 96.5%

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin W. | Chief Marketing Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Xano?**

It lets me--a non-coder--do everything I was paying a developer to do. My development costs have dropped from thousands of dollars per month to just the cost of my Xano subscription. I absolutely LOVE being hands-on on all levels of my product. I don't have to work around anyone else's schedule or costs.

Also, huge props to the Xano team who are super responsive to requests for help, and who have even built out additional features for me.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

The user interface--while fantastic for relatively simple function stacks--gets unwieldy when you have many layers of nested conditional and looped actions. I would love a blank canvas for a flow chart, but frankly, the fact I can do the "coding" myself is amazing unto itself.

**Recommendations to others considering Xano:**

You absolutely must know about https://forum.xano.com. That's where you go for customer support. They usually respond within a business day. Search to see if someone has already posted the same question (which means you get an instantaneous answer), and if you don't find it, create a new post. Sometimes, other users chime in with the answer.

This is apparently a normal thing for coders. Not such a normal customer service format for the rest of us.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After almost a year of trying to work with a handful of coders, I finally found one who wrote good code and was a good communicator. I paid him more than $21,000 to build out the back end of my app, but because of disruptions from COVID, we had to redesign a bunch and I used up my budget before the project was done. That's when I heard of Xano. Being able to do all of the back-end development myself, my business costs have dropped to practically zero, and I am able to let my understanding of back-end functionality inform the full product development process.

 ### 48. The most powerful and easy to use lowcode backend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve W. | Constant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Xano?**

The tool itself is powerful and easy to get going with. It's then not too difficult to learn and build with greater complexity. Their support team and community make it easy to continuously improve.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Even though it is nocode there is a learning curve, but this is a function of the capability they are offering. They make stuff that is very complex codewise simple and accessible to no and low coders.

**Recommendations to others considering Xano:**

If you need a no code back end you should definitely try it. It's unrivalled in my experience.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building a scalable back end without the need for a dev team.

 ### 49. Chicken Soup for Your Development Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles W. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Xano?**

I love the flexibility of the Postgress environment. The addons and joins are an advantage, as they allow quick deployment. Most importantly, technical support is second to none.

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Nothing. Instead of wishing for product enhancements, I constantly see capabilities within the product that I otherwise didn't know existed.

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The creative process has been de-geeked. The old-fashioned model where your coder has a strangle-hold on deployment of innovation no longer exists for us.

 ### 50. The best no code back end, hands down

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon N. | Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Xano?**

It plays the line perfectly between "no code" and "low code", which means that it is still simple to the layperson, but you can truly do anything you want

**What do you dislike about Xano?**

Nothing at all. the free version is a bit slower than paid, but that is understandable being that you aren't paying to build your project

**What problems is Xano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The entire aspect of a no-code back-end is a new concept. The fact that they are the best of those solutions is amazing in itself.
