## About X-CD
Most academic research and medical societies are running their operations on five different tools — a membership database, a separate abstract submission system, a conference registration platform, a peer review tool, and a proceedings publisher. Each was signed at a different time, with a different vendor, and the data moves between them through CSV exports and a staff member who knows where the bodies are buried. X-CD replaces all of it. X-CD is an association management and conference platform built specifically for scholarly societies — academic research bodies, medical and health professional societies, scientific organizations across basic and applied disciplines, engineering associations, and international bodies whose annual meeting is the heart of their year. One platform handles the full membership lifecycle and the entire conference operation, end to end. Membership and AMS Member portal, dues collection and auto-renewals, multi-tier membership levels, member directory, automated communications, donation management, and a member store. Optional add-ons include chapter management, board elections and voting, journal/publication SSO, and corporate membership for societies with company-level accounts. Abstract and Speaker Management Unlimited submission form types (abstract, paper, poster, workshop). Full peer review module with reviewer signup, assignment, conflict-of-interest detection, scoring, ranking, and accept/decline notifications. Multi-track program and session management. Speaker portal for RSVP, bio management, and file uploads. Public-facing program website included. Single-blind, double-blind, and open review supported, with late-breaker and continuous-accept windows for societies that need them. Bundle discounts apply automatically: 10% off two modules, 15% off three, 20% off four or more. Multi-year terms stack on top. Most modules start at $1,950/year. About the company X-CD has been building software for scholarly societies for over twenty years. **What do you like best about X-CD?**

All the modules are connected. Friendly and long term relationship with our point of contact. Quick solutions and always trying to fulfill our wish list. Pricing is reasonable for what we are getting. Love how you can copy over things from year to year.

**What do you dislike about X-CD?**

Registration options can get confusing especially with the different rules. Wish reporting didn't add unnecessary fields. 

Wish creating program items were a little more streamlined and we could create a multi-agenda item all at once. Also wish we could edit program details, time, etc all on one screen. 

Q&A on the app could be a little more simplified on the user end. There are too many steps to get to the question page. Some attendees just want to scroll to the session and ask a Q right away. Also wish polling could be a little more intuitive and be created through the desktop version too!

**What problems is X-CD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving us time by having all our data from past & previous year conferences on one platform from registration to call for papers.

**What do you like best about X-CD?**

I like that X-CD is all on one platform, which makes it easy for me to find registration, program information, and email templates. I can work on several conferences at one time and easily switch from one module to the next. I also like the good customer service from X-CD, as they are very quick to respond and help  with any issues or questions. The platform's biggest value to me is that it's all in one place, easy to navigate, and I can customize it to how I need it to be done. It's very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about X-CD?**

I think some of the scheduling could be improved. Especially if you're scheduling many sessions, I have over 650 sessions to schedule. The grid could be bigger, and having smart search capabilities within the scheduling grid would make it easier to use. Some of the time lag could be improved, and having multiple people work in it at one time would also be helpful.

X-CD brings everything together on a single platform, simplifying registration and proposal tracking. It eliminates the need for cumbersome imports and exports, while allowing for easy navigation across modules and great customer service.

**What do you like best about X-CD?**

I had an excellent experience working with X-CD Technologies. The platform is easy to configure, highly customizable, and provides a seamless way to manage all aspects of event planning.

We used X-CD to manage the World Cornea Congress, and although this was our first time using the platform for this event, it was incredible to have everything in one seamless system. The platform made it easy to manage speaker invitations, program creation, abstract submission and review, notifications of abstract acceptance status, and ongoing updates to the program.

It also offers a centralized dashboard that keeps everything organized in one place, with seamless integration into the event app. The app and micro-site were excellent and played a key role in supporting our onsite experience.

What truly sets X-CD apart is how intuitive and user-friendly the system is, combined with strong integration with other vendors. The team is outstanding, responsive, collaborative, and focused on delivering solutions that are easy to design and implement.

I would highly recommend X-CD to any organization looking for a comprehensive, all-in-one solution for managing events. It is a great product backed by exceptional support.

X-CD Technologies solves the challenge of managing complex event workflows across multiple systems by bringing everything—speaker invitations, program creation, abstract submission and review, and communications—into one centralized platform.

This streamlined our processes, reduced reliance on multiple tools, and improved efficiency. For the World Cornea Congress, having everything in one seamless system made planning and onsite execution significantly easier and more organized.

**What do you like best about X-CD?**

I use X-CD as our primary membership database and meeting platform for our yearly and monthly chapter meetings. I appreciate that X-CD is an all-in-one package that saves us from using several various platforms for our needs. The customer service is excellent; they resolve questions easily and quickly. I find the chat function for a quick question extremely helpful, as is the email service for our direct contact. The initial setup was extremely straightforward, and they did live sessions with us and practiced possible scenarios. I switched to X-CD from another product and have zero regret, and I love that they don't nickel and dime us for every question. I recommend X-CD to every society I run into, and we've expanded to get nearly every option available.

We don't have any issues with XD we're just looking for the job board to come online

X-CD solves the issue of using multiple platforms by providing an all-in-one package for our primary membership database and meeting platform.

**What do you like best about X-CD?**

Everything is in one place, which makes my work much easier. I collaborate with other organizations that don’t use fully integrated software, and that always adds an extra layer of work. I especially love the double-blind peer review system.

**What do you dislike about X-CD?**

Their knowledge base could be more intuitive. I often prefer to answer my own questions before reaching out to support, but I can’t always find what I need there. It would be helpful if they used AI to improve this feature and make answers easier to locate.

**What problems is X-CD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated systems for the double blind peer review and also presenter communication leading up to the conference. I especially love the hotkey integration.

**What do you like best about X-CD?**

Fully integrated conference management solution for in-person, virtual and hybrid events; highly responsive customer service. 
We like having mobile app for in person audiences, and virtual app for the virtual audience. 
The magic link is really magic as literally nobody needs to contact our team for password resets. This has been a big time saver. 
Our team is now at the stage where they can set projects up themselves and manage most of the aspects. The training process was great.

**What do you dislike about X-CD?**

The incredible amount of features also means a large amount of buttons and processes to follow. Training is definitely required.

**What problems is X-CD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Registrants have become almost completely self-serving reducing staff admin time. 
Speakers can access all their tasks in one single area which improved data collection. 
The team loves being able to be self-sufficient in the system as they can set-up almost everything on their own.

We appreciate the all-in-one capability of X-CD, where we can use them for membership, registrations, microsites, and the meeting app. It has helped us streamline our work tremendously.

**What do you dislike about X-CD?**

Sometimes hearing things are an extra charge for X package can be frustrating. And there are general roadbumps for transitions from one membership company to X-CD, but those would happen anywhere.

We manage several associations, and having one platform that fits all our needs has been amazing. We use X-CD for our meeting microsites, meeting apps, registration, and some of our groups use it for membership.

**What do you like best about X-CD?**

I prefer X-CD for it's ease of navigation and the system's structure as it allows for near-seamless building of our program. Using X-CD has made our event building more seamless, efficient, and accessible. I appreciate the incredible support that we receive from the X-CD team as well as the opportunity to build a service package that meets our Association's needs.

**What do you dislike about X-CD?**

The system is not always as intuitive and I would love to see shifts where modules spoke to one another within the system to alleviate segmented data. As an aesthetics person, more variability in design and public-facing content would be a great improvement

**What problems is X-CD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

X-CD is allowing our Association to cull conference proposals, facilitate ethical reviews, and streamline all of our "asks" (such as applications, awards nominations, etc.) into one hub for our members and community

The product is top-notch, but it’s really the people at XCD who make the difference. They help you figure out the best way to use the product so it works for your needs.

**What do you dislike about X-CD?**

Nothing really. I just find it hard to keep track of all the updates, but that’s because I’m not reading all the emails. It’s me, not them.

X-CD takes on the problems we ask them to, and works through solutions with us until we find the right one.
