Weave Reviews & Product Details

Weave is an engineering intelligence platform built for the AI era, giving engineering leaders an accurate, objective way to measure the output of both software engineers and AI agents. Instead of counting lines of code, commits, or story points, Weave uses LLMs and domain-specific machine learning to normalize every pull request into a standardized unit of work calibrated to expert benchmarks. That makes engineering output comparable across individuals, teams, languages, and organizations. As AI coding tools reshape software development, Weave answers the questions traditional developer productivity tools can't: How much of our code is written by AI versus humans? Is AI adoption actually making us ship faster? What's the real ROI of our spend on Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Devin, and other AI tools? Weave attributes every contribution to its source, whether human, AI-assisted, or autonomous agent, and connects AI usage to shipped output, code quality, and cost. The platform brings engineering analytics, AI measurement, and reporting into one workspace. Code Output measures normalized productivity by team or engineer. AI Insights and AI Usage track AI adoption, tool effectiveness, and the percentage of code generated by AI. AI Health distills your entire AI investment into a single 0-100 AI Efficiency Index. Agent Observability monitors autonomous coding agents alongside human engineers. DORA & Benchmarks delivers deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, and deploy success rate with industry benchmarks drawn from real data across thousands of engineering organizations. Dev FinOps automates R&D capitalization reporting for finance teams, and Wooly, Weave's AI engineering agent, lets anyone ask questions about their org's velocity, quality, or AI adoption and get answers grounded in real engineering data. Weave connects the tools you already use, including GitHub, Jira, Linear, AI coding assistants, and communication platforms, and unifies every signal under one graph. Teams are typically live the same day, with executive-ready reports within weeks. More than 500 organizations, from seed-stage startups to Fortune 100 enterprises, trust Weave to measure engineering productivity, prove AI ROI, and guide engineering investment. The platform has analyzed over 2,000,000 pull requests across 20,000+ engineers. Weave is SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR and HIPAA compliant, with SSO, SCIM provisioning, and role-based access control for enterprise deployments. Whether you're an engineering manager coaching a team, a VP reporting to the board, or a CTO deciding where AI investment goes next, Weave replaces guesswork with signal.
