"Effortless Website Development with WordPress.org"
4.5/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I use WordPress.org mainly for website development because it's really easy to use, making the development process fast and smooth. I like the Elementor feature the most, as it makes designing and customizing websites easy without coding, which saves time and improves productivity. The drag-and-drop interface allows for quick changes and better results. Additionally, WordPress.org provides supportive and easy-to-use plugins that enhance the development experience. The initial installation setup was really easy, with plenty of documentation available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Yes, mainly the traffic management when we go live with the website using WordPress.org. If the traffic is large, the website starts to lag and sometimes crashes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Make a website with ease with WordPress"
5/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

WordPress is one of the most easy and simple ways to to make, edit and publish your website. The simplicity and simple user interface is so user friendly. It integrates perfectly with things like Spektrix, DotDigital for sales and marketing. It integrates well with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365m Calendly and social media platforms. It performs well enough. The pricing is reasonable. There may be cheaper ones out there but it's an excellent software. It doesn't have it's own inbuilt AI sadly. I may integrate with other AI platforms but I haven't seen anything.

Onboarding was easy and the support we get is always to a good quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

It's lack of AI features or integration opportunities is a shame as I think AI would really give this a good edge. Wordpress should invest in integrating their own website auditing AI and maybe a drafting AI bot. I think anything that helps you build your website and keep it up to date would be amazing. and something it's sorely missing right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable CMS with Extensive Plugin Support"
5/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I appreciate WordPress.org for its simple and affordable CMS, which allows us to manage our website without much expense. It's completely free and even with the costs for hosting and Elementor Pro, it's more affordable compared to other CMS platforms. Also, WordPress.org pairs well with advanced apps and allows connections to other platforms, making our work straightforward and easy, especially after more than 10 years of use. The availability of a lot of free plugins is a significant advantage for a small business like ours, allowing us to perform advanced actions without spending extra money. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, which made it simple for us to learn and continue using the platform effectively. I highly recommend WordPress.org as the most affordable and reliable option for service businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Elementor Pro can be a bit expensive, and although this is not WordPress, to have your website available online and in a customized way, you need to get Elementor Pro, because this is the interface that offers more advanced features to make your website visually aesthetical. Otherwise, if you don't get Elementor Pro, you just depend on the basic features of WordPress. Overall, in the end, this is still a more affordable option compared to other CMS, but it feels a bit expensive to keep it out over the years, especially when you don't edit anything else on your website anymore. If you don't pay for the Elementor Pro plan, your website goes back to default features and it changes the way it looks aesthetically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use with Powerful Integration Options"
5/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

What I like most about WordPress.org is that it is quite easy to use. I also love that with the new tools you can automate a lot of content creation. Additionally, WordPress.org has a very well-defined structure and an API that works well, which makes it very easy to integrate with other applications. The initial setup is very simple. What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Well, in general, what I sometimes don't like about WordPress.org has to do with the possibility of using static pages, mainly the pages part. I would like there to be some way to display static pages without having to be within the WordPress framework, to be able to create landing pages or static pages in a more flexible way than using the pages within WordPress, which sometimes are not ideal in terms of design or structure. "A flexible and essential CMS for web design projects"
5/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I started using WordPress around six years ago after previously working with Joomla. I switched mainly because WordPress has a much larger ecosystem of plugins, themes, and integrations. In our design agency we build websites for different clients, and WordPress has become an essential tool because it allows us to create flexible sites, implement many features through plugins, and maintain projects easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

One downside is that when many plugins are installed, maintenance and updates can become more complex. Compatibility between plugins or themes sometimes requires extra testing, especially when managing multiple client sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust, Easy-to-Implement Platform for Content Heavy Websites"
5/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

Wordpress is a robust easy-to-use and easy-to-implement open source website platform. Whether you need to spin up a simple landing page site or a full ecommerce website you can do it quickly and easily with Wordpress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

Wordpress can easily be extended by installing plugins from third-party developers, which is a great thing, but it does mean you need to have a plan in place for ongoing updates to ensure your site is maintained and protected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile CMS with Limitless Scalability but Needs UI Updates"
4/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

I really like WordPress.org for its unmatched ecosystem. The plugin repository is a standout for me, offering access to thousands of free plugins. This means I rarely have to code standard functionality from scratch, and features like SEO, caching, security, and forms are all readily available. I also appreciate the full site editing. After a rocky start, the modern block editor has matured significantly, allowing me to edit headers and footers visually without touching PHP files, which is a huge time saver. The community support is excellent, with solutions and documentation available all over the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

The interface could be improved. The admin interface hasn't fundamentally changed in a decade and desperately needs a native dark mode and a more modern, cleaner design. The media library needs an overhaul with folders, better tagging, and basic image editing features. Organizing thousands of uploads is currently a nightmare. The famous five-minute install is misleading. Setting up a secure, fast, and production-ready site takes hours and requires a lot of configuration. The learning curve can be frustrating if you have zero technical skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"More polished final product than other platforms."
4/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

There is a lot more versatility with plugins that are available. The friends I know who are still in the web design business are blowing my mind with the UX and UI they are able to create with Wordpress. I find my Wordpress websites generally easy to edit and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

I am many years out of the web design business now, and I don't find it as straightforward to set up templates and systems as I used to. It's not so much of a dislike as it is a frustration of being behind in this website world. While the website I manage from other platforms are generally easier to manage, they lack the final polish of the Wordpress sites. I'd love to find a way to be able to work with my Wordpress sites with the same kind of ease. Customer support with Wordpress has not been as helpful as with other platforms. "Easy to Use and Highly Customizable"
4/5
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

What I like most about WordPress.org is the flexibility and control it gives. It’s easy to start with basic features, but also powerful enough to build more advanced websites as you learn. The wide range of plugins and themes makes customization simple, and the community support is very helpful when you get stuck. It’s a good balance between beginner-friendly and developer-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

One thing I don’t like about WordPress.org is that it has a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, especially for non-technical users. Setting up hosting, managing plugins, and handling updates can feel confusing at first. Also, too many plugins can sometimes slow down the website or create compatibility issues. It requires regular maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
