"My company used WordPress to successfully rebrand and develop our media outlet"

3.5/5

Describe the project or task WordPress Development Company helped with:

We used WordPress as the main platform to host all of our written, audio, video and multimedia content. Since rebranding 2 years ago and switching to WordPress, we have grown our platform from getting dozens of visits per week to tens of thousands unique visits per week. WordPress has been consistent and we never have issues with the site crashing, as we did with our old site host. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WordPress Development Company?

The navigation and interface is allows for easy interaction with both the visitor and the user on the backend of the site. Part of my job is to train the new editors to post content on the backend and training always went smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress Development Company?

When there are multiple users trying to post or edit on the backend of the site, sometimes the site will not save one of the user's work. This is a bit of a struggle for editors who want to publish content as fast as possible. Also, some desired applications were not compatible with the version of the site developer we were using, which was frustrating as WordPress is supposedly a universal industry standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering WordPress Development Company:

This product is an industry standard for a reason. It is simple, effective, reliable, and user-friendly on both the visitor and user's end. We will continue to be using WordPress for the foreseeable future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress Development Company solving and how is that benefiting you?

Overall, the benefits outweigh the negatives, however, and there is a reason it is hailed as an industry standard. We are satisfied with our decision and have no plans to move away from this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great application for building websites"

4.5/5

Describe the project or task WordPress Development Company helped with:

I created a website for my freelance writing business with WordPress. It's a very simple website, and I was looking for a tool I could use to get the site running quickly. WordPress was simple to use and had plenty of assistance as I was setting up my website. I am computer savvy, and had minimal experience with website design before using WordPress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WordPress Development Company?

I like the ability to customize my design using templates and a wide variety of plugins available to add to WordPress. I also appreciated that Wordpress has lots of support and tutorials for how to effectively use their website building platform. I use Bluehost as the hosting service for my website, and it integrates seamlessly with WordPress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress Development Company?

One of the issues I noticed is that it can take some time to get used to the layout of WordPress, especially with no previous experience with website development. Most amateur computer users are used to having everything needed in one application, rather than piecing together different applications to create the final product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering WordPress Development Company:

When considering using WordPress to design your website, make sure to do some research beforehand to determine an effective hosting service, as well as figure out how to use the applications that WordPress offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress Development Company solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's been very simple to maintain and I've done it all myself. The cost is fairly low, and there are several plans to choose from when signing up. Generally, the longer term you pay for when first signing up, the more discount you'll get per month. I'm solving the problem of not having an online platform for my writing portfolio as a freelancer. I've been able to describe my services and offers for clients and have everything stored in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Could work better with achieving more outside the box designs. There's so much that can be accomplished and they do a good job in promoting their designs and what can be accomplished, but there should be more available options to choose from and see what outside the box ideas the company can work up would be interesting. Definitely do consider them and see in what ways they can work with your business in order to improve the number of unique monthly visitors you have in a given year.
