## About Wooclap
Wooclap is an interactive platform that maximises the possibility for smartphones and computers to become exceptional learning tools that make learning awesome and effective. It was developed in collaboration with neuroscientists, course technologists, and teachers to maximise information retention and enhance learning during lectures, whether in a classroom or remotely. There is no app to download, nothing to install: students use a link to connect to the platform on their smartphone, tablet, or computer, and answer questions online or by SMS text. Wooclap is compatible with all teaching models (traditional, synchronous, asynchronous, distance, hybrid, HyFlex...) and integrates with many tools that teachers use on a daily basis (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Genially, Canvas, Microsoft Teams...). This means they can use Wooclap’s many question-types and features within their existing Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

## Wooclap Reviews
  ### 1. Wooclap: Easy, Versatile, and Seamlessly Integrated with Moodle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilie R. | Agente de recherche, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

What I appreciate most about Wooclap is its ease of use, efficiency, and versatility. It offers a wide range of interactive activities that can be adapted to different teaching contexts and learning objectives. Its integration with Moodle is also straightforward, making it easy to incorporate into a course without adding unnecessary complexity for instructors or students.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

There is nothing in particular that I dislike about Wooclap. The platform is flexible and can be configured to suit our specific needs, which makes it easy to adapt to different teaching contexts and objectives.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap helps engage the entire class by giving every student an opportunity to participate. It allows us to view responses in real time, identify trends immediately, and build knowledge collaboratively as a group. The option to submit answers anonymously also creates a safer environment for participation, particularly for students who may be less comfortable speaking in front of the class.

  ### 2. Versatile Question Options with Minor Annoyances

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anke K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I love that I can create or import questions myself with Wooclap. It's nice that there are many different question options, allowing me to ask varied questions. This keeps the students alert, as a Wooclap is set up differently each time. Sometimes it's group work, sometimes individual, sometimes multiple choice, then matching again. I also appreciate the simplicity of the initial setup, it was very easy. Additionally, I am happy with the many question options that have been added over the past years.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

What is extremely annoying is that you have to drag an event into the correct folder, and that doesn't work well. It would save a lot of frustration if I could choose which folder I want to place an event in.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Wooclap for formative assessments. It gives me the opportunity to ask varied questions, keeping students alert. Thanks to the many question options, I can create or import questions, and vary between group work, individual, multiple choice, and matching.

  ### 3. Ideal for higher education: simple, integrated with Moodle, and very responsive support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabrice D. | Enseignant de FLE, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

It is designed for higher education. Easy to handle. Integrates easily with Moodle or PowerPoint. Allows for synchronous or asynchronous use. The company is very responsive and very close to the user community.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

The entry fee may seem high for small training organizations.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap allows you to energize and gamify class times by making them participatory. It allows you to gather feedback from large groups, check understanding, or make decisions. It is useful in teaching situations as well as in professional situations (decision making, brainstorming, prioritization, etc.)

  ### 4. Effortlessly Engages Students with Valuable Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I really like that Wooclap is easy to use for both faculty and students, making the platform accessible without much hassle. It's great that there are customization options available, but even without them, using the platform is straightforward and understandable. What I find particularly valuable is that it takes the burden off the EdTech team. Faculty members feel confident that the software will work, so they're more inclined to use it, allowing the EdTech team to focus on other projects. This aspect of Wooclap is incredibly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

I think having a way where the questions can be embedded into the asynchronous slides within Wooclap would be really helpful, instead of having questionnaires and files separate.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap helps us identify participant engagement and knowledge gaps, provides a low stakes way for students to engage in large classrooms, and allows us to analyze student data for informed decisions.

  ### 5. Versatile and Easy to Use, but Requires Improvements in Asynchronous Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin De Jesus C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I like Wooclap for the large number of variables it offers to generate questions and for its educational approach. I also find it very easy to create content such as questions.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

The students experienced problems answering the questions, especially when trying to read the QR code. Additionally, the activity did not yield results because not all students could participate simultaneously in synchronous groups. I would like the system to allow students to respond asynchronously, without needing the teacher's permission, and for this to be configured automatically when creating the event.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Wooclap to encourage participation in professional competency topics and explore different points of view. I like the large number of variables for generating questions and how easy it is to create educational content.

  ### 6. Frequent Disconnection But Varied Options

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Léa L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I use Wooclap to conduct assessments and multiple-choice questions with a bit more variety. I like it because there are quite a few options, and above all, it's something offered by the school.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Several students were disconnected, which means that some responses were not taken into account. This is problematic for graded assessments. I don't quite understand how it works, and I find it complicated to understand the system so that responses are not anonymous by default. Recording responses seems to be problematic, with occasional disconnections. I found the initialization of Wooclap quite complicated because the different possibilities are not very clear. I also find it unfortunate not to be able to easily manage the number of points awarded for each question. This requires me to do work on Excel afterwards.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap allows me to conduct assessments and multiple-choice questions with more options, but I have issues with recording responses due to disconnections. Additionally, the initial setup is complicated and the questions are anonymous by default.

  ### 7. Ergonomic, Easy to Use, a source of pedagogical activities, with an Active Community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean-François B. | Vice-Doyen en charge des Relations Internationales, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

ergonomics, ease of use, variety of possible uses, amenability ; Wooclap fits perfectly into courses, it allows you to create engaging activities for students and encourages you to change your teaching practices, in an easy way.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Nothing so far regarding the tool by itself, the community is active. I generally regret the costs of licenses for these kinds of tools, which sometimes slow down their spread.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My very personal opinion is that I see Wooclap more as offering more and more opportunities rather than solving problems.

  ### 8. Wooclap is an indispensable tool for my training sessions, my teachings, and my assessments.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent D. | Responsable d'enseignement supérieur et formateur professionnel, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I love the ability to conduct interactions with learners live or asynchronously, with a dynamic animation. I use Wooclap with small groups (in companies or in practical/theoretical sessions) or with large assemblies (lecture halls). Simply present the QR code (also usable in video calls) so that each person has access to the questions on their phone. I also really appreciate the ability to load questionnaires from prepared Excel files, with or without AI assistance for drafting, and to have an evaluation result before and after the course. With experience, I have found that Wooclap can also be used to reinforce learning by repeatedly questioning a definition, concept, or key point. For this, I create a pedagogical progression with increasingly complex questions.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Nothing major, just a very personal point about the interface: the "save" button at the bottom right, opposite on the screen from the "back" button at the top left.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap provides me with professional solutions to conduct informal assessments at different educational stages. It also offers very practical bonuses such as asynchronous questionnaires, attendance sheets, and participant response reports, allowing for, for example, remediation or congratulations!

  ### 9. Ease of use but Problems with Duplication

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent T.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I love the ease of use of Wooclap, which is truly valuable for the training work of teachers. It allows for a quick visual of the responses, especially with the cloud function. The ergonomics are also a major asset for us. The initial setup process of Wooclap is easy and simple, which is a plus.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

The duplication of questionnaires retains the original title and it is impossible to modify it. Moreover, the questions are not modified when the questionnaire is shared with another administrator. There is no synchronization of updates, which means that if another colleague launches the questionnaire from their own account, it is not updated and therefore the questionnaire is not usable.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Wooclap for teacher training because it easily collects data and provides a quick visual of responses, especially with the cloud function. Its ease of use and ergonomics make my task smoother.

  ### 10. Facilitate student engagement with Interactivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aurore L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I appreciate the ease of use, the variety of question formats, and the idea libraries of Wooclap. The ability to publish live and let students use it independently is also an advantage.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Not possible to display an image in large size for a multiple-choice question. Answers that are too long in multiple-choice questions are cut off. Need to be able to display an image or text large enough for understanding, or an option to scroll through text. It takes a bit of time at the beginning to understand or transfer for direct use independently. It should be possible to duplicate from one to the other more quickly. I took a bit of time to understand where to find the view/edit tabs.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap makes my classes more fun and the students more active. I appreciate its ease of use, the variety of question formats, and the idea libraries.

  ### 11. Intuitive platform with a Wide Variety of Questions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I love that's really intuitive and has a wide variety of questions to choose from.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Nothing really, I'm satisfied with the tool

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We go from boring traditional presentations where it's really hard to engage the audience especially when you have a different one everytime, towards a more participative format, engaging and one where we can actually trace back the impact in numbers

  ### 12. A very intuitive solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

The fact that it is a very intuitive solution.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

I like the graphic design less, particularly the choice of colors for the interface.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap can address, in our context and as of today, the fact that some in-person training sessions are top-down and not very interactive. Wooclap can help, in our context, to make in-person sessions more dynamic and participants more engaged.

  ### 13. Indispensable for Effective Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sébastien L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I really like that Wooclap is super easy to use. The platform is very comprehensive and offers a large number of question types that allow for very interesting use cases that I cannot achieve with Kahoot or other platforms. Wooclap also integrates very well with learning management systems like Canvas LMS, Moodle, Blackboard, and D2L. The impact of Wooclap on the quality of training is very positive. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Given the power of Wooclap, it could have become a complete LMS, but the team preferred to focus on the Student Response System and integrate with LMS.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap captures students' attention, engages students in their learning, gives real-time feedback, and allows for consolidation.

  ### 14. Create engaging quizzes to capture attention and verify knowledge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre F. | Enseignant "Culture et Usages Numériques" (L2-L3 Musicologie, Psychologie et Sociologie), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

The ability to easily create quizzes that capture students' attention during classes, verify knowledge acquisition, and invite them to respond.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Nothing. I find this tool really perfect for what I use it for.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool allows me to renew the students' attention through another means.

  ### 15. Great for Creating and Sharing Quizzes, But Mobile Experience Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jérôme R. | Business analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

easy to create questions of different type
easy to use with the QR code
easy to share with colleague as an admin

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

On my iPhone 14, I found it difficult to read the questions because the text was too large, making it impossible to see the third line. Additionally, I was unable to access the trophy icon to find out who won my quiz. I ended up having to use my computer and share my phone's Wi-Fi just to see the winner. It was frustrating to have to go through all that and then have to explain it as a technical difficulty.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used it to entertain my colleagues during a Christmas party, and my ministry had a corporate license that allowed more than 100 people to use it simultaneously. I didn’t have to worry about whether the app would work, since it runs on the cloud. Not having to install an app is definitely a plus. I also appreciated that the correct answers were displayed on the user’s screen, so everyone could immediately see whether they got the answer right or not.

  ### 16. Clear, Fast, and Simple — Easy to Join and Interact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

Clarity, swiftness, simplicity, easy join in and interactions

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Some smartphones can't read properly the qr

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy interactions with patients, students, professionals ; visual portrait of a seance

  ### 17. Intuitive and Ergonomic Assessments in Progress

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** olivier p.

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I particularly appreciate the diversity of question types offered by Wooclap, as it allows me to adapt the questions according to the abilities and knowledge to be assessed in my students. The ergonomic fluidity of Wooclap is a great asset, as it makes the construction of questions quite intuitive and simple, which saves me valuable time. Moreover, the analysis of results provided by the tool is very useful for obtaining concrete information on the achievement of educational objectives. Quickly conducting tests before and after activities allows me to effectively evaluate the students' level of understanding and motivate their active participation. Overall, the initial ease of use of the tool and the way it naturally integrates into my teaching process makes Wooclap very valuable to me.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Some students were experiencing connection issues via the QR or the code, I don't know if it's specific to their equipment, wifi quality, or the platform's operation.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap allows me to conduct tests before and after activities, providing concrete information on the achievement of objectives, with questions adaptable to students' knowledge and an intuitive design.

  ### 18. A highly effective classroom interaction tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Étienne R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I love using Wooclap for its ability to create an impressive variety of question types, which adds valuable flexibility to my teaching activities. This tool facilitates interactivity among students, including the more reserved ones, which enriches the learning experience. On the other hand, the simplicity of Wooclap makes it not too complicated to master, which is a great advantage. The management of questionnaires is also exceptional; it is easy to reset, export results, and manage other aspects after use. Finally, even though the initial setup was a bit difficult, it remained reasonable to handle. I find that all these features make Wooclap a valuable tool that I would recommend without hesitation to a colleague or a friend, giving it a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

I had difficulty importing questions already created with other similar software.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Wooclap to increase interactivity with my students, even the most reserved ones, and its flexibility makes it easy to create a variety of questions. Managing the questionnaires is simple, with features to reset and export the results easily.

  ### 19. Intuitive, Efficient, and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laetitia a. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I appreciate that Wooclap is intuitive, fast, and easy to use. Just log in to access the proposed questioning templates, which makes construction quick and simple. The system is intuitive because you just have to let yourself be guided, which I find really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

The only drawback I had found was that the questions I had prepared appeared in a strange form with a mix of languages, which was not necessarily very readable.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap allows me to survey the learning and gather the opinions of my participants.

  ### 20. A promising tool, eager to see what's next

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eddie B. | formateur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

As a Wooclap user for several years, I have previously tried other Quiz platforms. The options are numerous, but Wooclap is particularly well-suited for teaching (I am a trainer):
- Simple and pleasant graphical environment,
- Responsive team,
- Many features even for the basic subscription,
- Great variety of questioning formats,
- A synthesis of sessions that is quantified and presentable in spreadsheet form,
- Excellent alternation between theory (slides) and quizzes,
- No bugs, neither during sessions nor in the middle of sessions, and I use Wooclap practically every day,
- Good management of different training themes: preparations are easily found,
- Scores are clearly gamified,
- Initial uses are quickly operational,
- Prepared documents are easily integrable,
- ...

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Eager to know its development (that's why I didn't give a score of 10 ;-) )

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Wooclap, I tackle dense topics and sensitive points to be conceived orally. Proposing graphic and participatory approaches in playful forms allows for an overview, a step back on concentrated, compact areas. And the cherry on top, you can even find yourself playing with them.

  ### 21. Easy to Use with a Big Impact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ange B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I love the ease of use of Wooclap, which allows me to create polls in a simple and fun way to liven up parties with friends. I also appreciate being able to change the way I can receive poll results, which adds a certain flexibility. The installation was very simple thanks to the free account my school gave me, and I am already recommending it to my friends with enthusiasm, giving it a rating of 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

I would like to be able to customize the backgrounds more easily to give a mood to the surveys or quizzes, and incorporate more varied assets.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Wooclap to create classic polls quickly and easily, and I appreciate the ability to modify how the results are received.

  ### 22. Energize Classes with Comfortable Interface and Free Access

**Reviewed by:** Maria A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I love that everything is well organized in Wooclap. That I can access it again without having to pay thanks to the university having paid for the license. Also, the interface that allows having different folders to place various studies, subjects, and tests seems very convenient to me.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Well, I'm still testing, but I have to check the access for the students, as it seems a bit difficult for them.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap allows me to make classes more dynamic and share presentations and quizzes at no additional cost, which used to be a problem because it was paid.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tristan M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

One of the standout features of Wooclap is its user-friendly interface. The platform is intuitively designed, making it easy to navigate and create surveys without any prior technical expertise. The drag-and-drop functionality allows for effortless customization, enabling me to design surveys that align perfectly with my specific needs. The straightforward interface saves time and frustration, allowing me to focus on the content and insights rather than struggling with complex tools.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

While Wooclap is undoubtedly a fantastic platform, there are a few areas where I believe some improvements can be made. One aspect that I would appreciate seeing enhanced is the survey customization options. While the platform offers a decent level of customization, including themes and branding options, having more flexibility in terms of design elements and layout would be beneficial. This would enable me to create surveys that truly reflect my organization's or project's unique identity.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to get the answers on my questions I´ve been looking for.

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi Tristan,

  ### 40. Wooclap in active learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camila E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

The support that Wooclap provides in planning activities with active learning is wonderful, it allows all my students to interact, in addition to being able to verify the level of learning of my students in a didactic and entertaining way. The different tools of Wooclap allow me to move away from a common slide for my class, and manage to activate my students' concentration in complex moments.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

I don't think I have any opinions against Wooclap, although at first one tends to get confused with its use and linking with the Microsoft presentation, after mastering this aspect it works wonderfully.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem is maintaining my students' concentration and achieving an active and group learning class during lectures. Wooclap tools are a complement to this and allow me to monitor and deliver something new to my students.

  ### 41. Now I Have to Share the Limelight!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin M. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

Learners love it; the variety of the question types and, of course, competition mode!

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

It's a small thing, but the inability to change the question to a different one on the PowerPoint add-in.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making online sessions more ineractive.

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hey Kevin,

Thanks for your comment and 5-star review. Indeed, the competition mode is a killer to grab the attention!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Powerpoint add-on - it's a main topic today and we'll do our best to address your feedback.

  ### 42. As an academic I am using Wooclap at the end of my classes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konstantinos M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

It is really helpful the fact that students find wooclap really engaging. While case studies or videos are used, I have seen be using consistently wooclap at the end of my classes, students are really excited about the quizzes.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

There is not really something that I can say that I dislike in Wooclap. The only problem now and then is the fact that students must have internet access in order to use it.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The basic problem that Wooclap is solving is the attention time span that students have these days. By engaging an application that can use through their phones, I can enhance their experience and also go with the flow when it comes to the use of technology and smartphones by young adults.

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi Konstantinos,

Thrilled with the 4.5 stars! 🌟 It’s great to see Wooclap sparking excitement among your students at the end of classes. Engaging them with quizzes and interactive content is right at the heart of what we aim for.

Regarding the internet access requirement, we understand that it can be a hurdle in some situations. We’re constantly exploring ways to make Wooclap more accessible and convenient for everyone, everywhere.

Thanks for your insights and for helping students stay focused and enthusiastic. Anything else you need, just let us know.

Best,
Jim

  ### 43. An different way to make learn your students

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

For me is a new way to leran based on the fact that brain best keep where we didn't succeed than where we found the right answer. It's also a way to make challege students and push up the grups' motivation.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

I think it could beeasier to define what we want for the next following question, that is to say if we want to see responses. Indeed sometimes, if we have used Wooclap before, the system remain showing correct answer, that is useless during the qizz

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Be in real time the differnt answer and diretly find minor signal, taht is to say something I coul have said during my course, and liteeraly discover it. That also permits to reformulate some problems and know xhere pepole need a clarification, most of time hidden when students don't dare to ask questions. It's a real way to clear things and show that "ok, you d'dn't understand thos notion, don't worry, the same for the others. I will explain again"

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi Vincent,

Loving how you’re using Wooclap to innovate in the classroom! Your strategy of turning challenges into learning opportunities is inspiring. 😊

We hear you on wanting a smoother setup for questions and responses. Thanks for pointing this out; it’s something we’re eager to improve.

It’s fantastic that Wooclap helps you spot when to dive deeper into explanations, making sure everyone's on the same page. Your feedback is making us better! 🚀 If you need anything, just shout.

Cheers,
Jim

  ### 44. First impressions are good but I'll to play about a bit more with it

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

It's relatively easy to use once you learn the jargon (with lots of examples to help you choose the types of questions). It looks nice and it is clear that the creators are open to feedback (in order to improve it)

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Yes, it's user-friendly BUT only after you have learnt the specific terminology. Two example of this which had me scratching my head for far too long were 'Participant Pace' being what they call any asynchronous survey, and clicking 'Report' to see the results of your asynchronous survey (where usually a button saying 'report' is to flag up inappropriate or offensive content). Personally, I find the jolly "Hey guys, I hope you're doing great" email tone a bit grating - but that's probably the grumpy side of me (on this cloudy Monday morning! :) )

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not so much solving a problem as replacing another survey tool. Our University recently decided that Wooclap is the official university-supported polling tool to be used (whether we like it or not!).

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for giving Wooclap a try and for the honest feedback! It’s good to hear your first impressions are positive, especially about its ease of use and our commitment to improvement based on feedback like yours.

We understand the jargon can be a bit of a hurdle initially. Your examples are super helpful and actionable, and I wanted to personally thank you for this. I can assure you we'll look into ways to address these issues!

If there’s anything specific you’d like to see improved or have further thoughts, we’re all ears.

Best,
Jim

  ### 45. Superior interactive and engaging activities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

As an Instructional Designer and Instructional Technology Specialist, I constantly search for digital tools that create interactive and engaging experiences for our students. Wooclap checks all the boxes. Their platform offers an ever-evolving array of content that can be crafted into the perfect icebreaker activity, survey, quiz, or test. It works seamlessly with our LMS and their support team goes above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

There is not part of Wooclap that I have any issue with what-so-ever.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wooclap is an easy-to-use platform that doesn't involve hours of training and onboarding to get off the ground. It can be used in synchronous and asynchronous classes, both online and in person. I think is fun to have so many question options to connect with students.

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi Tim,

Your 5-star review has us smiling from ear to ear! 🌟 It’s fantastic to hear that Wooclap is ticking all the boxes for you, especially in creating those key interactive experiences for students. Seamless LMS integration and our supportive team are parts of the puzzle we’re proud of.

Absolutely thrilled there’s nothing you’d change about Wooclap. Nonetheless, we promise to keep evolving and improving, making sure we continue to meet and exceed your expectations.

Best,
Jim

  ### 46. A very useful tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edgar B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

The wide range of options available, they are easy to use and in my lectures, my students really enjoy these interactive activities. I can also test their knowledge and they can receive feedback.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

At the moment, I don't have any bad comments about the app, perhaps when people are new to it they can struggle a little bit, but it is part of the process of learning how to use new tools.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With this tool, I can ask open questions which are then discussed in my lecture, or I can ask a question providing different options, and students need to select the correct answer. This facilitates the formative feedback students can receive.

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi Edgar,

Thrilled to hear how Wooclap's wide range of options is enriching your lectures and making learning more interactive for your students! 😊 It's great that it enables both testing and immediate feedback.

We're always looking for ways to ease the initial learning curve for new users. If you have suggestions or need support, feel free to reach out. Thanks for sharing your positive experience!

Best,
Jim

  ### 47. Wooclap is a Teacher's Best Friend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

I discovered Wooclap during the school year of 2020-2021. I'm located in suburban-rural US, and we were in school in-person, but I needed a more engaging way with more FREE features to teach. Enter Wooclap. It pairs with Google and has a ton of questioning styles.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

It doesn't work well on a cell phone as the presenter or for creation. Students can participate just fine, just don't plan to create on a phone.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Student engagement has risen. I've also found that I am able to conduct formative assessment much easier. Students share information they might not have when it is anonymous as well.

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi Laura,

It’s wonderful to hear Wooclap has become a valuable tool in your teaching arsenal, especially with its variety of questioning styles and seamless integration with Google! 📚

Noted on the mobile experience for presenters. We're continuously working to improve all aspects of Wooclap, and your feedback is crucial. Enhancing student engagement and facilitating formative assessments are at the heart of what we strive for. Thanks for sharing your success and insights with us!

Cheers,
Jim

  ### 48. Great for engaging large classes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

WooClap is a great way for me to engage my high school students in class. Teens tend to be a bit reticent to respond in front of the whole class, but WooClap makes it easy for everyone to contribute without the risk of losing face in front of their peers. It's also a great platform for seeing how well the class is understanding content and adjusting me teaching accordingly.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

I wish they had a few more activity types to engage learners with.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me get responses in real-time from large groups of students.

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi Scott,

Great to hear Wooclap is making a difference in your high school classes by encouraging every student to participate! 🏫 Your approach to using it for real-time feedback and adapting your teaching is spot on.

We’re always looking to expand our activity types to keep classes fresh and engaging, so your feedback is invaluable. Thanks for letting us know what you’d like to see more of!

Cheers,
Jim

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Wooclap?**

There are a large range of question types and lots of flexibility to embed, add images, etc to really personalise the look. Really quick for students to login and get started and helps keep them on track once they get used to answering questions throughout lectures. Great for checking understanding and keeping everyone on track.

**What do you dislike about Wooclap?**

Not much- the learning curve wasn't steep as I'd used other similar tools but give yourself time to learn about the different questions so you can get the most out of it.

**What problems is Wooclap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping students engaged throughout lectures, checking understanding on key subjects and keeping them focussed.

**Official Response from Jim Hartung:**

> Hi Claire,

Delighted to see you're finding Wooclap flexible and effective for student engagement! Personalizing your lectures with a variety of question types sounds like a fantastic way to keep everyone involved and on track. 😊

Thanks for the heads up on the learning curve. It's great to hear it’s manageable, and we're here to help make the journey even smoother. Your use of Wooclap to check understanding and maintain focus is exactly what we aim to support. 🌟

Best,
