Exporting the ideas into usable formats takes some working out. The software has lots of features so the learning curve is steep.

Mind maps is essential tool in my work to store structured infrmation, since I tried it long time back.

EdrawMind is easy to use for mind maps. I can quickly create and write information, no struggle, this is essential for smooth thinking process.

I can choose mindmap design and quickly fine tune it to what is comfortable for me, before I start notes. It takes very less time, which is essential, to prepare layout and start writing quickly.

It has export to PDF ot vector graphics, convenient to share maps with those who don't have software. Also, EdrawMind has online storage that seems useful though I have not used it much.

I like it in basically everything.

The only negative point, I purchased lifetime version, but Wondershare do not provide registration code to activate software once and forever. It logins online, and sometimes auto login fails, maybe 5-10 times a year. The software then switch to demo mode and interrupts you and your thoughts at very wrong moment to manually login. - At times, the program does not allow you to adjust the width of "boxes," the text units in EdrawMind, which can make the final product look less appealing, although there are ways to improve its appearance.

- When converting a mind map to a PPT, each page becomes a slide. For my purposes, it would be advantageous if a page could be considered as a surface and slides could be created at different points/sections. I like the most is it's feature which allows me to create my first draft of a Mindmap by uploading a Word file or pdf, I don't have to create my Mindmap from scratch. Even this tool is helping me to brainstorm ideas with my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The things I like most about EdrawMind are:

- Being able to attach files

- Good link management between topics, pages and websites

- Possibility to use emojis

- Possibility to create different pages in the same document
