The maps are always available. The service has its own storage, so third-party storage is not necessary. It is very convenient to just generate a link and share a map with colleagues, or have the option to collaborate, making it quite easy to implement use in a group. At the start of a project, it is easy to begin creating a mind map among several people and clarify ideas without having to write much. It is an excellent alternative for daily use and to have a big-picture view of everything that needs to be considered when starting a project. The support, when needed, responds quite quickly. But I have only used it once. My experience with the integration is neutral; I have generally used it to create stand-alone maps. **What do you dislike about Wondershare EdrawMind?** The customizations that can be made in the Windows application do not display correctly on the Web, and after modifying them on the Web, they are lost in the Windows app. For example, in the Windows app, you can modify the font of the elements, on the Web you can do it, but with specific fonts, and the elements may display incorrectly. The lack of features and accessibility in the mobile app makes it used less frequently. This make it ideal for note taking when learning and doing meetings. I use it almost every day for notes on everything and for putting together skeletons when architecting new technical solutions or writing technical scope documents. I always found with Mindjet software and Mind42 that it was good but not great. The AI I use a bit but probably not as much as some people would just due to the nature of my profession but when I have used it for business plans etc its been incredible how good it is to have this type of capability built into mind mapping software. I used it recently to help put a skeleton marketing plan together for a new business park. **What do you dislike about Wondershare EdrawMind?** Its not a big thing but I didnt like the default styling but I changed it in a matter of an hour or so and now the mind maps are styled how I like by default. I paid for the lifetime subscription offer which was a fair price given you have access to cloud storage and also all platforms. The themes are excellent and if you want something for a great presentation this software will make you look professional. **What do you dislike about Wondershare EdrawMind?** The software is limited you when it comes to free-flowing layout basically you cannot do it, everything is rigidly based on a template or tree structure, pulling nodes to move them far apart disconnects them from the mindmap, this is very frustrating and I have to use Simplemind for free flow mindmaps. A mind map should allow a large degree of flexibility this software is more geared to using templates to create predefined mindmaps. Moving things around breaks the mindmap and can get you very frustrated, it would be also great to have a design mode where you can make your own templates and add to the pre-defined ones. **Recommendations to others considering Wondershare EdrawMind:** It can’t export any open formats like opml which is a big downside. **What problems is Wondershare EdrawMind solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mainly use it for circular mindmaps and fishbone diagrams. Since all work can be saved to the app's cloud storage, all maps are readily available on the go too. I use Edraw for two types of jobs. I use it alone when starting a project, it makes it easy to collect all ideas in one spot. Then with the tools, at later stages, I go deeper and create more detailed versions of the same map or split it up if need be. These things are really easy to get done. The second use of Edraw is at meetings, becuase it is easy to record everyone's opinion about the issues and create sub-issues. Helps in spotting potential problems with a planned task or discover many benefits for a planned feature or service. Beucase of the easy to use UI, working with Edraw never grags the meeting or hinders the collaborative work in any way. And the benefits of it are obvious from the start. ### 21.
