With Wistia Live, there's still a couple features we're looking for it to be improved. I think things like capturing leads, being able to ask people to raise their hand during a live webinar, and be able to capture all the people that raised their hand for wanting a demo. I know there's some implementation for that now and maybe it has been updated since the last time I tried it. I think that would be an improvement. For our Wistia live videos, we film in a studio and not from a webcam setup. Everything is reversed when I look at the video inside Wistia Live, because it's trying to be a mirror image like a webcam would. But for our studio environment, that's just one small little nitpick that I wish I could flip the video feed in Wistia Live so that way it's not mirrored and it could look normal for the producer view as well. I find Wistia to be very easy to use and organize. One of the most valuable features is Turnstile, which allows us to capture leads directly within videos without disrupting the viewer experience. It would be great to pull people onto the stage to clarify questions, share screens, etc., rather than relying on chat, which has a lag. It would be nice to easily integrate it with Make to streamline webinar creation—progress has been made, but I still have to change things manually. The attendee count during the webinar doesn't update accurately, and I can't see the engagement info afterward. I love using Wistia for hosting video for my businesses and a few clients. It provides seamless playback on my website without buffering and allows me to securely share videos with my clients. I love that I am in control of the experience because platforms like YouTube tend to pull in too much noise with their suggested videos. They offer a lot of great resources, like blog posts relevant to my industry, great support forums, and tutorials when they make UI updates. I feel there could be better folder organization options and ways to organise our content maybe using AI. There should also be more options where we can see stats on not jut performance but how many of our videos have captions, have certain accessibility features, and an easy way to bulk change certain things across a specific folder. I love that Wistia has evolved from a video hosting site to a holistic, comprehensive tool for video Marketing.

We use Wistia to record remote client interviews, pre-recorded Webinars, and live Webinars. I appreciate that the recording tools are a lot more polished and streamlined than typical video conferencing software. And they are easy to use and browser-based so non-technical teammembers and guests are not overwhelmed.

The browser-based editing tools are also a huge asset for scalability. Because of these tools and the fact that recordings are hosted in the same platform, non-technical marketers on our Content and Social teams can easily repurpose long form media for other channels without tapping our Video team's limited bandwidth.

The recording platform is great but not quite as flexible and professional as dedicated solutions. There are a few features of the recording platform that I would like to see implemented:

-Downloadable separate tracks for each speaker during live webinars

-Separate, high quality audio tracks for each speaker

-Ability to map keyboard shortcuts to change layouts or spotlight speakers during recording

I didn't get this to use for editing, but the editing suite is actually very intuitive. I am a professional editor, so I have the tools, but I see this suite being very useful for product teams who need to create content but don't have access to a producer or past video editing experience. Love the zoom feature as well.

I like Wistia for its ability to provide quick translations and closed captioning for videos. It really adds value with ease of translation, especially as we are becoming more internationally accessible. Sometimes the folder structure and search functionality can be a bit tough. Unless your team coordinates on how you organize things, or you use the very specific words in the title of your video, it can be hard to find your video.
