"Huge Time-Saver That Inspires Smarter Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

My favourite thing would just be the time saving, but I think what's great is that it forces you to think more efficiently, and so then you start imagining other ways that you could do similar automations. In addition, the spell correction and the ability to do snippets also help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wispr Flow?

It's very hard to give this judgement because I'm not paying them anything, but it is a problem that there's a cap. Obviously, you run out of free words, or the amount of words you can use in a week, but people need to make money. There's that saying: "If you aren't paying for the product, you are the product." I think, hopefully, if there could be an entry-level tier, like $1 a month or $10 a year, just for some basic stuff (because I'm not a heavy user), that would be great. "Accurate, Smart Dictation with a Custom Dictionary That Just Works"
5/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

I use Wispr Flow every day, and two things make it stand out for me.

First, the custom dictionary. I added my company name, Alphie, and now it's spelled correctly every single time I say it. It sounds small, but with most dictation tools I'd end up fixing the same words over and over.

Second, it doesn't just transcribe, it understands what I mean. It cleans up minor mistakes, and when I change my mind mid-sentence ("oh no, let's say it this way"), it drops the first version and keeps the correction. What comes out reads like I typed it carefully, not like a raw transcript. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wispr Flow?

Two small things. I use a separate tool for meeting notes, so the panel Wispr Flow shows offering to record my meetings is noise for me. As a product manager I get the intent and like the idea, but as a user I'd rather be able to turn it off.

Also, I wish I could move the small Wispr Flow pane on my MacBook. It sometimes covers controls in the websites and tools I'm working in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time AI Cleanup That Makes Notes Clear, Accurate, and Effortless"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

The real time AI cleanup is the best part, it's just not a transcription tool but it actually helps make it clean and express the thoughts in an expressible manner. It's super easy to use with little to no onboarding required and can overlay with any available app and tool. The performance over repeated usage and help in recording notes and meetings is just a bonus and is worth every penny. For any role, be it developer, PM, Designer, Sales, Marketing, it is a life saver while maintaining the accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wispr Flow?

It's fully cloud dependent and not offline. Plus the mobile app can be a lot better. Currently, the mobile app eats up a lot of battery so that is an area they can enhance a lot. Privacy policy can be a lot clearer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fastest AI Adoption Yet—Effortless Desktop Across Apps with Powerful Context Carryover"
5/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

This is, by far, the fastest I’ve adopted an AI tool since the initial GPT release in fall 2023. It’s genuinely reduced how much I need to type by about 70%, and I’m flowing in pretty much every chatbot imaginable. I can’t even begin to describe how easy it is to use on desktop across every app I use, and how that context gets saved and carried over between apps. Overall, it’s been a real 10/10 experience. What do you dislike about Wispr Flow?

The only downside today is the keyboard experience mid-flow on the iPhone. It's clunky. Everything else is fantastic Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saving, Accurate, and User-Friendly"
5/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

I really appreciate Wispr Flow for its accuracy and how it handles both English and Hindi seamlessly, even when I switch mid-sentence. It saves me a lot of time as it effectively deals with technical terms. Its ability to remove filler words and format the text well is a standout feature for me. It manages to figure out bullet points and structure my conversations when I'm giving long specs, which significantly tidies up my speech. I find it more intuitive and easier to use than other options I've tried, like Apple or granola. The initial setup was incredibly easy and not an issue at all. What do you dislike about Wispr Flow?

I think Wispr Flow could improve its English language capabilities over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Speech-to-Text Excellence with Quick Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

I really like that Wispr Flow takes my spoken words and accurately detects pauses, adding the right punctuation. It's impressive how it recognizes when I correct myself and types in the correction right away. This feature makes it really straightforward to use. Setting up Wispr Flow was a breeze, as it was installed and ready to go in just three minutes. I also appreciate how it works seamlessly with various applications like Outlook, Word, ChatGPT, Claude, and Sharepoint, which really maximizes its utility for me. What do you dislike about Wispr Flow?

I would like to be able to move the on-screen overlay. It often gets in the way when I am in different applications. I prefer it hidden somewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosted My Typing Speed with Effortless Dictation and Polished Text"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

It is one of the best tools out there. I increased my typing speed all the way from 54 words per minute to 106 words per minute because I can directly talk to it and it will refine the text and it will write it for me. I don't have to worry about the punctuations and the grammars. It takes care of everything, and I believe it is like 95% there. I just re-read the text sometimes to make sure it is correct and 95% of the time - it is correct. Sometimes, I don't even have to check it if I'm just brain dumping. It's perfect. Saves me at least 5-6 hours a week and it's ultra cheap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wispr Flow?

Sometimes transcription fails, and after like five minutes of talking to it, it says that it's unable to transcribe. That is really really frustrating, because I have poured all my mind out there and I really can't collect the same thoughts as it is for the 2nd time. Apart from that, I have faced some problems in the iOS app version regarding the transcription. It's the same issue on both Mac and iOS, but apart from that, it is perfect 95% of the time. "Voice-Driven Efficiency with Wispr Flow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

I like that Wispr Flow ensures I'm not spending too much time typing and everything gets done directly through voice. This has drastically increased my efficiency, allowing me to go from typing 60 words per minute to up to 200 words per minute using voice input. The initial setup was quite straightforward as well; all I had to do was create a free account and download the instance for my Windows laptop, and it has been working seamlessly since then. I'm very happy with Wispr Flow, and I think the experience so far has been very good. I would highly recommend it with a rating of around nine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Voice typing has completely changed the way I work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wispr Flow?

I use Wispr Flow almost the whole day now. It works on both my iPhone and my Mac, so I am covered everywhere. I use it to give prompts and commands when I am working on Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and also for writing my emails and even sending WhatsApp messages. Honestly I barely type anymore. The biggest thing for me is the speed. My normal typing speed was around 50 words a minute, and with Wispr Flow I am easily doing 120 to 140 words a minute. That kind of jump is huge for daily work. I really feel voice typing is the next big shift, where our devices and software will slowly become keyboard free, and this tool is already moving in that direction very nicely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wispr Flow?

There are a few gaps. The main one is multi language typing. When I switch between Hindi and English, it struggles with the Hindi spellings. They are improving it slowly, but right now it is still a weak spot. On my Mac there is also one bug where I cannot easily move the dictation bar from its place. So when a button I need to click is sitting right below the bar, I have no proper way to reach it except zooming the screen in and out. I have already informed their support team about this, but I have not heard back on when it will be fixed. One more honest thought, a lot of competitors are now building voice typing, and even Claude has launched its own. I am on the one year plan and will use it fully, but I am not fully sure about renewing next year, because by then ChatGPT, Claude, Notion and most common apps may have their own strong voice typing built in.
