**What do you like best about Weglot?**

I find that the handling is very intuitive and you can quickly manage on your own with the tool. On top of that, if you have a problem, the support team is very responsive (only a few minutes between each email).

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

I don't see any. But if I had to suggest areas for improvement, I would say that some features could be more highlighted because they are sometimes difficult to find (for example: disabling the public mode of a translation, rather than deleting the language. I discovered this option after deleting the language, thinking it was the only way).

**What problems is Weglot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves a lot of time compared to purely manual translation, while still allowing you to manually edit certain translations if desired (thanks to an editor that, once again, is super intuitive). And compared to other competing solutions, like Webflow Localization, it's more interesting in terms of price, and the fact that it is a tool dedicated to translation means that the features are the most developed with them.

**What do you like best about Weglot?**

It's like magic. After setting up Weglot, all you have to do is click on the language switch and the entire website appears in another language. Impressive!

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

The setup and flexibility of the language switcher is simple but limited. For me, the problems started when I used a third-party service for the language switcher. Suddenly errors occurred and I wasn't sure which part of the code was responsible. There are some steps during setup, that are not well explained or tricky for unexperienced users. But no worries, Weglot support is outstanding and theses heros act very fast. And this is priceless.

**Recommendations to others considering Weglot:**

Use a simple stand-alone test environment (as staging) to bypass any conflicts. Then copy the code any dependencies.

**What problems is Weglot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My goodness: My client initially intended to translate the whole shebang manually. What an effort that would have been! Choose aweglot, translations are done immediately and you can "adjust" every single term by yourself manually.

**What do you like best about Weglot?**

The customer service is competent and helpful - when an issue occurs they are quick to handle it and find a solution. The initial, automatic translations (EN, FR, IT, ES) are already at a high level. If you are new using Weglot, you'll find your way around quickly.

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

You can't filter for "not-yet-approved" translations. As soon as you change something in the translation, its status changes from automatic to manual and the changes are saved & marked as reviewed. This makes it difficult to to back to specific translations, when e.g. you were unsure about the translation. You'd have to assign them to yourself beforehand or only make changes to the automatic translation when you're 100% sure. I think this could be improved to make the experience more user-friendly.

**What problems is Weglot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to translate our website. Weglot makes this process more efficient and less costly, than if we were to have translators for every languague and implement all languages manually.

**What do you like best about Weglot?**

Working with online services can be tricky. Very often you need help but is seems nobody is there. Not so at weglot - they provided what has easily been the best customer support I have received in 20 years. Over the course of 3 days Timothée helped to resolve a very tricky issue regarding the language-based change of images in a multilingual squarespace-site. He provided perfect instructions and helped us figure out something we would not have figured out alone. The support was almost too good to be true. I think that for services that need a bit of customization good support ist key. Sadly usually it is lacking. Not here, we were as happy as one could be! Thanks again!

We use Weglot to implement multilingual versions of our e-commerce store. It streamlines the process of creating and managing translations, making it easier to offer our store in multiple languages.

Weglot is an impressive translation tool overall. The installation process was technically straightforward and automatic translation worked very well. 

Customer support was exceptional—quick, honest, and professional. They addressed issues promptly and provided clear guidance, which made the experience smoother despite some challenges.

The quality of translations from English to German has proven to be excellent for our e-commerce store. Additionally, the tools in the dashboard are very handy and make managing translations straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

We encountered some technical issues during the setup. After most of the website had been translated, the translations suddenly stopped working entirely. Customer support did their best to assist us, and the issue was resolved quickly.

The number of translatable words was higher than expected, which led to needing a higher license tier and consequently a higher cost. Additionally, translating dynamic elements required quite a bit of manual effort, including configuring Weglot to correctly identify those elements.

Weglot simplifies the process of translating our extensive e-commerce store into another language. It saves us significant time and effort compared to manual translations, allowing us to reach new markets quickly and efficiently.

Excellent customer service! Someone from the Weglot team gets back to me within a couple of hours and always very helpful and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

The AI translations to German from English are often not the best and have to almost always be manually adjusted. 
The URLs cannot be translated unless the Pro version is purchased which is quite a bit pricier than the next level below it. I have a rather simple, small company website, and the Pro version, apart from the URL translation capability, is too large for my needs.

I like the seamless integration and definately caters those who do not handle code at all. Even with the manual option, the integration is very front end catered and seamless.

The automatic translation needs more work as the translated content does not match too well. Perhaps good to integrate chatgpt translation models.

It is easy to install and flex enough to be updated by a human in case of wrong translation.

I was not comfortable to define the A record of my load balancer to target Weglot server, so I decided to use the subdomain method. I would like to use the AI features but it is not compatible with a subdomain installation.

It is easy and fast to implement. I had issues with my animations messing up the translations, but the quick customer service helped me solve this very quickly.

It's difficult to style the language switch, the documentation of the class names isn't very easily available. Luckily the customer service was able to help me well.

Their support is fantastic. I've worked with Guido and a couple of other people. They respond quickly and solve the problem every time. They explain the nature of the problem and make sure I understand why the problem occurred and how to address it. They're friendly and very professional.

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

Weglot software can be confusing and could be more intuitive. It's very hard to implement and setup. While most of the user interfaces are pretty easy to work with the devil is in the details and that's where it can be very confusing. Luckily their support agents are the best!

We need English to Spanish on our Wix-based site. The Wix multilingual is very unreliable. So I research Weglot and decided to go with them.

**What do you like best about Weglot?**

We are running an educational website in four different languages in parallel, which can be at times quite challenging. But whenever we have any technical issues or questions, help by the Weglot support team always comes to the rescue, in a very timely and useful manner. Once we even accidentally deleted one of our languages, and the Weglot team managed to restore all 36,000 manual edits immediately. Within three minutes! Couldn't ask for a better service.

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

The only thing I don't like about Weglot is the fact that when we make the tiniest change in the original language, sometimes even just by correcting a comma, that often all manual edits in the other languages revert back to the automatic translation. But I guess that's the nautre of the beast when running a multilingual website.

**What problems is Weglot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing educational content in different languages in parallel, with easy toggling between them. I'm not aware of any other technical solution that could do the same in such a simple and user-friendly way. Our only issue is that we are translating from English into Welsh, Scottish Gaelic and Irish, tiny languages in which the automatic translation requires substantial proof-reading and editing.

We evaluated several translation services and liked Weglot most in terms of the translation quality, cost and features. We had some complications integrating Weglot into our systems, but their support was excelent and they tried hard to find solutions and dug deep into the problems.

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

We have a single domain setup with static pages, Vue application, Wordpress blog all under the same domain. This does not map well into Weglot's standard solutions as they assume that there is one technology per domain. This created some extra work on our side, but Weglot was still flexible enough to allows us to integrate it.

Weglot allows us to build and launch the translated version of our product very quickly.

Ease of use and speed to activate and no learning curve at all. I also had a question for the support team and had email response within ten minutes. The ease of integration with Squarespace was straightforward. Addiontal languages within minutes.

I have not had any issues at all. So far, perfect.

**What do you like best about Weglot?**

I had a technical issue with my webpage and I got a good an very fast support from the Weglot support team. Turned out that my issue was not connected to Weglot in the end, which helped me to find out that I need to look in my webpage coding.

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

I find the translations very good. If I could suggest one thing which would totally help me - it would be fantastic if one could define which kind of addressing (Du or Sie) to use in German. I would like to use Du for e.g. which is a more direct and informal way. I tryied with glossary rules, but it does not really work beacause it is a bit more complicated than just replacing you with du. Sometimes you need to be replaced by other forms of du like dir or dich. “Dich” is the “4th case” or “Akkusativ” and “Dir” is “3rd case” or “Dativ”.

I have customers in different countries and it would be extremely time consuming to creater content in different languages so I needed a solution which will make it easy for me to have different language versions of my webpage.

I used Weglot to incorporate a second language on my website and also helped integrate it for two of my clients' websites.

1. I love how flexible their language toggle is. It's important that I can style it to match the website's design.
2. Another very important feature is that I can use both automatic and manual translation. Texts often appear very different across languages (for example, French words are longer than English), and we often need to completely rephrase them rather than translate word for word.

for me everything is ok from ease of use, to implementation, I did everything alon even if I am not IT expert. Integration for me was 15 minutes of work to BigCommerce platform. Regarding customer support every problem solved quickly.

**What do you dislike about Weglot?**

Too big jump from in price and number of words included. There is no middle, as I need around 60000 words in total, and next package is to pay for 200000. Package with 100000 words would be great, and I need just one language pair up to 100000 words.

BigCommerce does not have "croatian" localisation, so that is how I have Croatian website on BC platform
