**What do you like best about Wedge?**

Wedge has a very ease to use interface. 

It does a great job of enabling video interviews. 

It is very effective for sales, recruitment, and customer service recruitment. 

It has other use cases as well. 

Team is very supportive and the ease of implementation into my work flow was really great. 

I used it daily while I was recruiting for some sales roles. 

Not sure if it integrates with Bullhorn yet, but is easy to integrate into workflow.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

Not the most effective for technical roles.

**What problems is Wedge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is difficult to articluate someone's enthusiasm or speaking ability with a resume. 

Wedge has a great option of creating a video cover letter to include with a candidate submission. 

If I were recruiting sales and customer service people, would definitely use Wedge!

**What do you like best about Wedge?**

Wedge allows us a pre-screening prior to the in person interview.  We have saved countless hours by narrowing our interview pool down prior to taking the time in clinic to interview.  This also helps us to determine which candidates are willing to take the time PRIOR to working for us, and that typically translates to people who are willing to take the time when working for us!  It is nice to see facial expression, body language and to hear the candidate's ability to communicate effectively prior to an in person interview!

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

I am not sure there is a downside.  I do know Wedge is VERY persistant until a candidate completes their interview...this might be a bit annoying on the receiving side, however it does encourage them to get it done quicker!

**What problems is Wedge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wedge saves us time by narrowing the candidate pool prior to interviews.

**What do you like best about Wedge?**

I love how easy it is to use Wedge. I can create new prompts and videos with ease. Plus it integrates well with Jazz HR. I love that not only do we get see a bit more of our candidate's personality, but they get to see ours!

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

I do wish I could restrict access to certain Wedges. For example, hiring a new director and do not want managers below the role to see the wedge even though they have access to other wedges for their hiring needs.

**What problems is Wedge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wedge allows us to see the personality of a candidate and not just their accomplishments. We want an all-around fit, not just someone good on paper. By sending a wedge, we are able to get this without giving up too much precious time for our hiring managers.

**What do you like best about Wedge?**

I like that Wedge allows customization of different templates for these video surveys/interviews. It's useful to my organization for different roles we're recruiting for as we can customize different questions for candidates to respond to. This makes it easy to organize and review!

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

Sometimes users have a hard time recording themselves or the quality of connection on the user's end is not the best, which results in a difficult Wedge to review. Occasionally Wedge has some minor connectivity quirks that interrupt the viewing of recorded responses.

**What problems is Wedge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wedge helps our organization to pre-screen candidates for different roles by having them respond to different questions; you can learn so much about a candidate by hearing and seeing them speak about themselves and their experiences, and it helps us determine who will be a good fit for which role. It is a wonderful tool to have on hand especially when there are a large number of applicants to review.

This is professional and easy to use. It is visually appealing and has great useful features. It was easy for myself and candidates to learn and integrate into our hiring process. The questions were great to set up and it really made the interview process even better.

Sometimes it is daunting for new candidates to trust this process. It is a new tool so just need more name recognition out there.

Honestly, the fact that its so easy to use and you can focus on making mass reach in such little time

I wish it was a bit more organized, it would be nice to have folders for interviews, it can get a bit messy when there are a lot of recruiters

We sometimes needed to make interviews at midnight because our candidates are busy most of the time of day or only available after business hours

I love how customizable the interview questions are for each organization.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

My only complaint about Wedge is that sometimes applicants do say that their interviews get sent to the "junk" folder, so it's important to let applicants know ahead of time that they will be sent a Wedge interview.

Using Wedge interview instead of spending time with phone screens for the first part of the interview process.

**What do you like best about Wedge?**

The fact that a candidate can record their interview at any time that works for them saves our team literally dozens of hours per week on scheduling. I've used more expensive video software that contained bells and whistles, but they simply weren't needed on either side of the interface. Wedge is simple for our staff and the candidates to use. There are rarely technical issues, but when they do arise, Rob, Emma, and the other Wedge team jump quickly to fix them.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

I'd like an easy text field to ask each candidate a few questions. Currently, this has to be built by the Wedge engineers rather than on my end just building it by filling in text boxes with yes/no or short answer questions.

Wedge was my first introduction to one way video interviews and it saved me a tremendous amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

Wedge worked great when I was using JazzHR but when I made the switch to BambooHR as a full HRIS, Wedge does not integrate so I was forced to find other options.

Wedge helped a lot with time management by allowing applicants to record an interview response at a time most convenient to them.

**What do you like best about Wedge?**

I like that it gives people the opportunity to share more about themselves through a video so that their application has more impact behind it. Being given the opportunity to express more of yourself before you even get an interview is a step forward in showing the confidence that someone has in the positions that they're applying for.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

There's not much to dislike with Wedge as it's a useful tool when looking at possible future employees. It allows us to learn more about them and just get a better feeling of the potential canidates.

Wedge creates the gap between the person themselves and what's written on paper. It creates a space where people are free to give a little more "oomph" in their application.

**What do you like best about Wedge?**

Being able to see your applicants is so helpful. If an applicant takes the time to record a Wedge, it often shows their true level of interest in the job. Applicants seem to enjoy it to, as it often replaces a phone screen and allows them to do it in their own time.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

There is not a feature that we have come across that doesn't seem to work well for us.  We love how it syncs with our applicant tracking system and is customizable based on the job we are trying to fill.

Wedge is helping save us time.  We used to spend a lot of time screening applicants through a phone screen. Video interviewing allows the applicant to record when it is convenient for them and allows us to review on our own time.

**What do you like best about Wedge?**

I like the fact that you don't have to bring them in for an person interview. I'm able to see a little bit of their personality on the wedge interviews. I had to interview many minors to fill summer positions. And this was the best and easy way to hire this summer.

Don't have any complaints. It's super easy to use. I really have anything bad to say about the wedge interviews. So far I like it and The Wedge idea is a life saver when it come to interviews.

Wedge is solving, saving time. With so many minor applications, this wedge interview was such a time saver. Then I was able to call and do a phone interview with the Wedge applications that I liked.

The same questions that would be asked over a phone screen are answered and you can read one's body language and observe some soft skills and personality types.

There were times that my inbox was FILLED with Wedge videos. I had to opt-out of receiving the emails and go search when ready.

The biggest thing is the videos save time trying to schedule phone screens and interviews.  A hiring manager can view when it's most convenient for them.

Unable to track via app/website -- I wasn't sure if it's because I didn't have access to do this, but I was only sent an email with the videos of an applicant and I wanted to be able to track who I've called and what not within Wedge

My only critique is that it is a little bit hard to pull applicant data from each video's page. I wish it were easier to see the candidate's contact information on the same page as their video.

**What do you like best about Wedge?**

The hiring managers can view the Wedge and feel empowered in the prescreen process, and it is very intuitive for the viewer. I can create a Wedge interview fairly quickly to start using it to screen candidates.  I can manage the process through the notes screen, and mark which I have seen already. The candidates can present their "best versions" of themselves in the process when the retakes feature is used-this creates good will with the candidates who may have apprehensions about the technical part of the process.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

There are times that the Wedge interviews aren't fully integrated with our ATS, and I have at times not received an email indicating a Wedge has been completed by a candidate.

**What problems is Wedge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prescreening candidates efficiently, able to present the actual interview rather than notes from our interview. It has saved significant time and allowed us to make more qualitative decisions.

It saves so much time interviewing. We interview people we actually want based on their Wedge.

Notifications were annoying for awhile, but they fixed it! Now I only get notifications for jobs I want to be notified about.

When we have too many applicants to interview, this helps us understand who we want to do live interviews for without wasting time scheudling.

When I joined my current company, we needed to hire 40-60 new employees in another state and city. My first attempt included a car rental, a hotel, and searching for an area to conduct interviews. Shortly after that, Wedge entered the picture. I quickly learned the benefit of having all candidates provide their interviews online on their time. All upper management have the option of viewing interviews at their convenience. 

Wedge has paid for itself and streamlined our interview process exponentially.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

Some of the candidates struggle with the new technology and submit interviews without sound. Other candidates determined not to answer a question skip through it.

Our company has reduced hiring costs and tripled the number of interviews we would typically conduct within the same timeframe.

We have screened hundreds of candidates this year using Wedge, and I highly recommend it to be used by others in the field for a variety of reasons. First, it is a time-saving operating mechanism. Second, you can customize your video questions to give candidates a "warm" feeling of your organization's culture. Third, the support team is very quick to resolve any issues that arise.

I really like how simple the platform is to use. It has been really easy working with different clients and being able to send them their candidate interviews seamlessly and also sending the link to candidates is also very convenient.

The only downside to this platform would be trying to have multiple users on one account. I work with another person on this account and my dashboard is full of interviews that I don't need, so it would be nice to only have the ones I am working on when I open the platform available to me.

Wedge is really helpful with screening candidates and filtering out the candidates that we don't want to interview in-person or on the phone. This helps with making the interviewing process a lot simpler for both the hiring manager and the candidates.

Sometimes when I follow the link to watch the videos, the system glitches and asks me to log in, but it won't let me progress past that point. On days where there are glitches, it makes it challenging to do my job well and efficiently.

It's been difficult to get applicants to follow through on doing a Wedge recording. I'm hopeful that as video screenings become more mainstream, the response rate will increase.

Wedge is incredibly simple to use.  Set up takes about 5 minutes and you are ready to start sending your assessments to your candidates.  Their interface is simple and clean.  And you can easily create customized assessments for all of your different hiring needs.  Best of all, they will let you try out their full platform for free before you commit to paying for it.

**What do you dislike about Wedge?**

I cannot say that there is anything to dislike about Wedge.  It is what they advertise.  A simple Video Assessment tool that is easy to use.

With everyone currently social distancing, Wedge gives us a way to interact with Candidates without having to meet face to face.  Best of all, it easily integrates with JazzHr applicant tracking and becomes part of our automated hiring process.

Easy to change questions and create different sets of questions depending on the position. Easy to review as it's on your own time (versus a zoom call).

My only complaint is that maybe 1 out of 250 videos come through with an error. It may be on the candidates end (no sound) or they just get hung up in the system ('processing' for three days). However, the Wedge Team is quick to reset the link and the candidate just needs to record again.

Use it. It's inexpensive and easy to make it your own. We use it for multiple positions and with different sets of questions.

Lessening the amount of applicants that have physical contact with our locations (possible COVID-19 contact) and saving our management team time.

Sometimes the video does not appear back in the application or the volume is muted.  But this can be user error.  When applicants receive an email for the video interview, they believe it to be spam because it does not come from or represent our company.

Prescreening during national pandemic which allows us to keep moving with the interviewing process without having an increased amount of applicants enter the building for face to face interviews.

That candidates are reluctant to respond. The set up is a bit cumbersome but in the end it works well to have a "bank" of questions to choose from.

We are solving the need for a first "phone screen" and do the WEDGE instead. We have realized that this saves time. We are in healthcare so we can't bring candidates in and this resolves a phone screen and allows us to move to a zoom or facetime call as the next step.
