watch.diy Reviews & Product Details

watch.diy is a retail intelligence platform for brand manufacturers selling through German DIY/home-improvement chains. It monitors listings, prices and availability per SKU and per store at Hornbach, OBI, Bauhaus and toom (more than 900 stores), for a brand's own products and its competitors'. Key account and pricing teams use it to check store-level listings, see competitor price changes and promotions, and spot regional out-of-stock clusters before retailer negotiations. Alerts, quarterly reports and Excel/CSV/PDF exports are included. A pilot (one product category, all four retailers, all stores) costs €9,500 excl. VAT for six months; no setup fees, onboarding in 5 working days. Hosted in Frankfurt, GDPR-compliant. On the market since March 2026, bootstrapped and run by its founders Maximilian Dietel and Prof. Dr. Bastian Halecker; the team grows through automation rather than hiring. Operated by Watch AI GmbH, Berlin.
