It saves a lot of time and money. We are using Vue.ai to create on-model pictures for the bags we produce. Since we have more than 2500 SKUs to cover + roughly 1000 new ones every year, it would be unrealistic for us to shoot "real" on-model pictures for all of our products. On the other hand, we can't go without them in our online shop because on-model pictures improve the conversion rates. Vue.ai is the perfect tool to offer good content with high efficiency. **What do you dislike about Vue.ai?** The frontend tool is too slow, which makes the process of uploading the input content a lot more complicated than it needs to be. Out of all the good things, I will list the 5 most amazing things which I like about Vue.ai 1. Integration - Extremely clear, straightforward, and thorough integration process. You exactly know what it is required to do before diving too deep. No surprises whatsoever which lead to predictable outcomes. 2. Capability customization - Quite a good set of customization on capabilities to better suit your business and customer's needs. 3. Reliability and scalability - We were surprised by the scale this platform can handle! At one point, our servers were a bit sluggish to cater to a sudden spike in the traffic but Vue.ai's platform was safely able to scale and cater to this traffic. (Almost 10x of daily volumes) 4. Meticulous account level monitoring and analysis - Vue.ai's customer success team is quite thorough with their account level support and monitoring. Quite proactive and really the ideal partners one would like to seek in the technology partner. QBRs are really deep and insightful. Weekly Analytics deep-dive sessions are packed with insights and set the future course of the product very well. 5. Ability to listen and deliver on the feedback - This is quite unique and seems to be like the part of Vue.ai's DNA. Almost all the people here actively seek feedback with a focus on delivering a better value. They do listen closely to your feedback and deliver on it if it makes sense. **What do you dislike about Vue.ai?** There are not many things to dislike about Vue.ai's platform but there are certainly some aspects of the platform which can be further scaled in a better way. 1. Automated analytics product to calculate ROI - The current analytics stack is a bit slow which takes up to 24 hrs to update. It will be great for customers (esp from fast-moving sectors) to monitor the metrics which are updated frequently, like every 2 or 3 hrs. An update cycle of 24 hrs for a few metrics like attribution etc is understandable but some topline vanity metrics can be updated more frequently. 2. Time to deliver on the customization - This doesn't happen every time but a few complicated customizations require a bit more time to deliver. It's not super-late either but short turnaround times will help to experiment with the stability and reliability of outcomes of customizations early on in the cycle. I understand the new platform has a DIY capability to customize but I am yet to experience it myself. **Recommendations to others considering Vue.ai:** Some specific advice: 1. Be clear with your needs - Understand how and where do you want to use this personalization platform first and then try Vue.ai 2. Be specific with the metrics for success and then monitor them closely - It's always great to specify the success metrics upfront as it helps with table setting as well as establishing expectations early on. 3. Understand your content and user velocity - If you don't have a good volume of content or a good velocity of new users, advanced systems like Vue.ai might be overkill. It's an excellent tool to improve your engagement rate with the new product(s) or content. **What problems is Vue.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving primarily 2 major classes of problems with Vue.ai 1. Product and Content Discovery problem on the platform 2. An ability to understand and classify our own content. UI is simple for any business user. Very straightforward and able to customize to streamline our processes. The support team did a great job. You will need to understand the specific data sets and how they are being used as identifiers if you want to update or track products that were tag in the past or reviewed in the UI. **What problems is Vue.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using VUE.Tag for all the product tagging. This allows us to cut down on the internal team to tag our products on the back end. Since VUE.tag already has the product attributes built out, it's pretty straightforward in mapping these fields. The product works amazingly well in giving recommendations and the API for email as well. **What do you dislike about Vue.ai?** Timezones are hard (we are in -4, most of their team is in India). **What problems is Vue.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use VueCommerce for retail recommendations (on both web and email). We are also integrating this quarter VueTag for matching patterns on clothes (and then use that for filtering). Leveraging AI is way more accessible than initially thought.
