Helps with organizing all the documents **What do you dislike about Vitay?** Nothing comes to mind that I can think of right now. **What problems is Vitay solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solving the problem of the time and resource lost when I have to reach out to the reference, schedule a call, then get on the call, ask my questions, and revise my notes, and then do that 2 more times for other references for the same candidate. Vitay also helps in putting all the completed references forms together in one report, because before I would have 3 separate word documents or pdfs. ### 4. When we made the switch to vitay we had our concerns as to how to process would be managed and the workload of it. It is safe to say I have literally never looked back and think this platform is the best thing to add to your TA department. No more cold calling references, no more playing phone tag and trying to talk to people in different time zones. It makes the boring mundane task of doing references simple and easy. 10/10 would recommend to any TA department. **What do you dislike about Vitay?** Wish there was a way to pull a report for individual users to be able to show to management on the effectiveness of it. We have several integrations with our ATS, and Vitay took the least amount of time and effort. Our recruiters LOVE that Vitay puts the burden of obtaining the reference on the candidate. The recruiter gets an email once it's complete and the reference is documented in our ATS. Vitay reminds the candidate to follow up if their references don't respond. It has a built-in lead generator that emails the recruiter if a reference indicates they would like to be contacted by our company. There are so many wonderful features and zero downsides. I can't sing their praises enough. We love Vitay! **What do you dislike about Vitay?** There isn't anything I dislike about Vitay. It takes a bit longer for Vitay and our ATS to sync than it did when we first implemented it, but it isn't a deterrent to using the product. **What problems is Vitay solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were spending an exorbitant amount of time trying to track down references. We would call and have to leave a message; then there would be follow-up. This takes all of that time wasted off our recruiter's plate. ### 33. The questionnaires can be updated and changed on demand, and the platform is easy to use. Training on the platform for new users is quick. **What do you dislike about Vitay?** Vitay is not safe to use, regarding South African Protection of Personal Information. Anyone can access the link, so there is no proper control over who fills in the reference at the end of the day. Even though that does make it very convenient, it is not the most secure option to use considering we send out personal information. It might be valuable to look into ways of securing the platform a bit more. **What problems is Vitay solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vitay is solving a timing issues. Previously we had to manually call all referees and verbatim type out the reference. Vitay provided a solution where the referee can do the reference themselves and we can just send that to the client. It is also a lot more visually appealing than the typed out version we used to have. ### 34. It's not a task I need to think about much anymore aside from sending the initial message to candidates. **What do you dislike about Vitay?** I wish we would be able to complete references for the same candidates again in 6 months' time instead of keeping records of the same reference and not able to complete them again. Our company requires us to complete references anytime a person accepts a new position but if we completed references 6 months ago we can't request new references using the same e-mail (and typically people have one e-mail) so it's hard to complete this task. **What problems is Vitay solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's helping us complete references! Before, as the recruiter, I would have to reach out myself to the candidate to receive their reference information as well as contact up to 3 people for references. Chasing people took a lot out of my day and I couldn't always remember to send reminders out. And to do this for 6-10 people at a time is a lot. So glad Vitay is able to help out with this!! ### 35. No more attempting to reach out to a reference a million times. I also like that you are able to send reminders and adjust info for the team members. **What do you dislike about Vitay?** I wish it were easier to search by dates. I need to pull my references from 6/22-12/22, and once you click on a person's contact, it resets the calendar range. **What problems is Vitay solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Vitay, we would have to try and collect all of the references from the candidates and call, potentially being ignored or leaving voicemails. About 50% called back. Then we would also run into the issue of the person doing the references asking bad questions. Witay has streamlined this process, cutting out the time spent on these checks. Having a standard set of questions ensures the appropriateness and fairness of this process. ### 36. I am also impressed with the warning system for a potential fraudulent reference. **What do you dislike about Vitay?** I don't find there to be anything downside to this process. **What problems is Vitay solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a healthcare business with more than 23 locations, it is very time-consuming for me or other recruiters to contact references and wait for return calls and emails. It is also not always easy to know who the people we are getting are and if they may be the employee themselves at times. This program helps eliminate these problems.
