I like that it’s super easy to upload documents. I’m also glad I feel safe when submitting important files, and I get a notification every time the recipient reviews them. The application is always super fast and accepts many different types of documents. I also like how you can leave a comment if you wanted to share anything important or private regarding them. For me, I didn't have to pay to use the service, my school would send me a link when I needed to submit things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, I didn’t find anything to dislike about Virtru. Every time I used the platform, it worked really well and did exactly what I needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best is how easily it allows us to share and collect Protected Health Information (PHI) while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance. It gives us robust end-to-end encryption without forcing patients or external providers to deal with complicated login portals or extra passwords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The browser extension occasionally toggles off or disappears after updates, requiring a quick reinstall or IT troubleshooting to get it working again in Gmail or Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like Virtru Secure Share because it's easy to use and it's simple to get our non-technical staff up and running with it. It's very secure and reliable, ensuring our sensitive communications, whether PHI or financial, are always protected. I appreciate that it's available all the time and integrates smoothly with our Google Workspace, making it simple to manage and add new users. The ability to send secure emails with attachments and receive responses securely is incredibly valuable. Also, setting up was hassle-free and the tool does a great job at letting us manage our licenses. Overall, it's just a nice tool that does everything we need it to, and there’s a good history of communications within the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Virtru Secure Share because it helps me prevent data theft and secure sensitive information when sharing files with clients and partners. The persistent and object-level control is a standout feature for me, providing peace of mind in protecting data from AI-based cyber attacks and frauds. The initial setup was quite easy for my team, and it offers a level of effectiveness that was lacking in our previous product, Paubox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think Virtru Secure Share could enhance its features to better guard against AI-based cyber attacks and frauds. With newer AI performing automated social engineering and impersonating identities, improving defenses against these sophisticated threats would make it even more effective. I like how Virtru Secure Share is easy to use, both for me and my clients. Sending secure emails and documents doesn’t involve any frustration or follow-ups, as it seems simple for clients to log in and attach necessary files. It saves time and effort, allowing me and the recipients to send and receive information quickly. Logging in is super easy, requiring just a password, and I appreciate how fast I can get everything done. Virtru Secure Share is a convenient substitute when clients face issues with our portal. It's incredibly easy to implement and use daily. It works seamlessly with our existing Google Workspace. Onboarding happened the same day we signed the agreement basically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside was that there is an annual commitment and the entire yearly license fee is due upfront. Thankfully we were able to pay for it but this is something that could potentially price out smaller businesses or independent professionals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I can safely request and receive documents from our customers in an efficient way. I also appreciate how seamless it is to download documents, edit a request after it’s been sent, and add or remove encryption. It’s equally helpful that I can control how long the request stays open by setting a deadline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing to dislike regarding Virtru Secure Share. It is awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It gives me the ability to share information that contains confidential information with others that need to know the information. This makes the process of receiving confidential information easier and faster than having to wait for information to come via fax or mail. I am able to request records for my clients that gives the information that I need to be able to halp them and their families. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Virtru has vanished off of my laptop on multiple occasions. I have had to take my laptop to the IT department to add it back on. I was able to add it back on the last time this occurred. When Virtru vanishes, this prevents me from being able to share confidential information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It covers me when I share sensitive data with teammates, and it gives me peace of mind that I’m not exposing anything I shouldn’t. Yeah I think with all the vulnerabilities due to AI that are present, being able to have the peace of mind that we're sharing very privileged and regulated data safely is absolutely worth the cost we're paying. I think the UI isn't really great. Maybe its an access thing but it is annoying kind of having to click through to find where I start writing my email. Would be really awesome if there was some plugin or something for outlook or Gmail Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the option to turn it off or on when sending messages to recipients outside of my work place. It gives a peace of mind when I have to share any HIPAA related details or documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to have more options when going to settings to turn it on and off permanently, because I accidentally turned it on and it was on for all of my emails and I couldn't toggle the switch off/on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
