We selected Virto Commerce to replace our ecommerce solution because of its ability to scale quickly to other countries and languages – and for its ability to create and maintain a large property catalog. Virto allowed us to maintain 24/7 availability, which is critical to our international business. With Virto Commerce, we were able to launch an optimal real estate ecommerce site that uniquely positioned us in the market to serve our audience – with a premium user experience that our brand required and our users deserve. We are still missing some features. e.g., we are looking forward to a new CMS module for a good-looking layout and quick publication of content (articles, blogs, news). We would like to be able to perform bulk-operations with data (update, change, and so on) right in the platform. Now we do this through the csv-import module. Before finding Virto Commerce, we initially built the site in a basic website builder called Tilda, and immediately saw its limitations upon launch. The main disadvantage was that they could not create a catalog online with search or filter functionality. The team decided to transfer the project to Virto Commerce and use its scalable and flexible platform to build the required features and functionality. In mid 2017, the Estate-Spain.com team launched new version of the website with a full catalog, property search, and robust features. The Estate-Spain.com site is live and has been operating since 2017. This solution improved Estate Spain’s position in Google search results by 700%. Virto's APIs are well documented and provide the majority of functionality that we need to build our implementations. Also, I like how easy it is to extend the platform and that the methods of extending the platform do not hinder the upgrade path for our implementations. I believe that the documentation could be cleaned up a bit (other than the API documentation) as it is sometimes hard to find an answer to a specific question. Virto Commerce is very intuitive so it's easy to train and ramp up new users to the tool. I also love that you can directly publish content to Walmart through the tool. We're hoping more retailers jump on board with a direct connection as the time savings has been significant--cutting down a month or two of waiting for page content to go live. I wish it were easier to track the completion status and then send notifications out to users outside of the system as to when new content is approved and ready. Today you also store assets not associated with a product separately--I wish there was more fluidity as to how you could store data so you could have all key assets for a product launch in one area. Prior to using Virto Commerce we were storing files on public drives and in inconsistent manners across our different brand teams. Using Virto Commerce allowed us to create one area where all content is stored and easily submit it to retailers. The ability to store retailer setup sheets has made our setup process for sales teams more efficient and has cut down the setup time by at least 1 month. It's not a full CMS. It works well as ecommerce, but seems to be lacking other features I would normally expect from a full CMS. I'm not sure if this will be good or bad. The best thing I learned was Logic App, a great middleware solution. The Virto solutions architect that visited us introduced it to integrate Virto with our other systems. That was a big plus!
