The &quot;without manual config&quot; part is the real ask here, because the older enterprise approaches (multicast especially) can mean network engineers tuning things per site forever. The modern peer-to-peer/WebRTC style tools are more self-organizing, they figure out peering on their own, which is usually what people mean by low-maintenance. Trade-off is you get less granular control. Do you have network engineers who want to tune it, or do you need it to just work with nobody babysitting it? If it&#39;s the latter, bias toward the self-configuring approaches and accept the black-box feel.
