The tool itself is super easy to use and to create engaging content that users love. The service from Virti and willingness to help make a vision reality, is first class. There are a number of options for deploying your content, using your own LMS or through the Virti platform itself. **What do you dislike about Virti?** The only downside currently, is the virtual human backgrounds are focused on the medical profession, which this tool was originally designed for. **What problems is Virti solving and how is that benefiting you?** The two main problems Virti helps us to solve is practicing challenging conversations in a safe environment with real-time feedback at scale. The Virtual Humans do a great job with this. Secondly, it helps us to simulate situations (it is particularly good for Safety) in a 360 interactive environment. ### 2. It allows the business to free up the time of Trainers making this more cost effective. We have also been able to sell benefits of management training with new or inexperienced managers because they are able to practice difficult conversations with the virtual human before using their new abilities on real humans. ### 3. Use it on any device. I can even practice on my phone. It’s ultra accessible. **What do you dislike about Virti?** I sometimes have latency issues but that’s probably down to my hardware and internet connection rather than anything on the virti side. I think this will only get better, but maybe a low bandwidth version would be useful. **What problems is Virti solving and how is that benefiting you?** My people can practice having very difficult conversations in private, wherever and whenever they want, and get unbiased feedback at the end of it. I can set up training scenarios in literally minutes so it’s also saving me a heap of time. ### 4. Prior to the Virti software we accomplished this practice with peer-to-peer interactions, but the virtual humans in the Virti software give the students a much more "real" client with whom to practice before going into the field with actual clients. **What do you dislike about Virti?** Some of my students complain that the virtual humans look "weird". I just tell them sometimes real people look "weird" too. :) **What problems is Virti solving and how is that benefiting you?** Virti helps us solve the educational problem of allowing students to practice their soft-skills such as interviewing, counseling, treatment planning, in a safe space in which it is okay to "fail" with your client. No coding knowledge needed is the reason why it is accessible to anyone. All you need is an account and your personal laptop and you are able to create unlimited scenarios whether thats through the interactive 360 video platform or the Virtual Humans platform. **What do you dislike about Virti?** I won't say there is a downside but there is definitely a room for improement, which I think the Virti team is already doing. Technology is accelerating at a crazy speed and I think that is going to happen with the Virti software as well, especially with cutting-edge technologies like AI. One improvement I would personally like are the voices in Virtual Humans. Still feels a lot like AI voices but if we could have more realistic voices and pronounciations, that could be a game changer for a higher fidelity in simulation. **What problems is Virti solving and how is that benefiting you?** Enabling technologies and skills like generative AI to the Virtual Humans is a game changer. It would be fantastic if these could sound more realistic as oposed to sounding as if we are talking to computer AI. The lesson plan can be further optimized based on student feedback through the backend. Students who received virtual patient training performed significantly better in medical history inquiries compared to those who did not receive the training. **What do you dislike about Virti?** If the Action interface of Virtual Humans could be designed to be more intuitive, students should find it easier to operate the system on their own. The initial screen for students could include simple guidance on how to input questions via voice. This way, instructors wouldn’t need to teach every first-time user how to operate the system. Virtual Humans could also add the feature of asking students questions, allowing for more diverse lesson plan designs. Allows 360 video and full-screen regular video to link to one another with ease and no distortion. Video quality is not compromised and maintained throughout each project. Connecting scenes and other assets is very easy and displayed well. **What do you dislike about Virti?** No dedicated scene playback - Preview Simuatltion takes you to the begining or the course no matter what part you are working on. This is frustrating if making adjustments on just particular sections of a course and want to test the flow and interactivity of a scene. No option to loop or freeze a scene or move on before a video reaches its natural end - requiring all scenes/videos to be narrative lead. This limits the interactivity - we wanted viewers to look around a 360 scene and click on different interactive points of interest. Once the viewer had done this, we wanted the scene to move on - but were stuck waiting for the natural end of the video. In-screen interactive symbols are not customizable. Adjusting the size and opacity of symbols reverts them back to their original location on screen - making it hard to relocate if opacity has been brought to 0%. No ability to automatically shift the viewers POV (snap-to) to a particular area in a 360 video. I expected there to be difficulties using the VR device, but it was okay because more participants than expected were able to proceed easily.
