It is not expensive and has an intuitive interface. I think it's an excellent tool to start editing videos **What do you dislike about Video Editor and Movie Maker?** The options to embed text into videos, effects and transitions could be disappointing compared with other free tools, and the software doesn't have an automatic subtitles generator. **What problems is Video Editor and Movie Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Finding a cheap and fast way to edit videos without complications. ### 2. I've seen a few other editors and the interface is really simple, clean and friendly. It's real easy to create nice videos using pictures and other video files. Video can be adjusted in many ways, depending on your needs. Has a variety of backgrounds and effects to add more style. **What do you dislike about Video Editor and Movie Maker?** Even though it has a lot of aspect ratio options, it would be nice to be able to use the original. Options to enhance the original audio, even just giving it more volume would be great. I don't like how sliding the bar while playing a video pauses the video. Also, a dark mode UI is expected from all software at this point. **Recommendations to others considering Video Editor and Movie Maker:** If you have no experience in video editing and have to do some of it, this is a cheap and great tool. **What problems is Video Editor and Movie Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed to do some basic editing and create some videos from pictures for funerals. I had no experience at all with video editing and had very few functions while looking for a solution. I received some suggestions for other products but they were expensive and nowhere nearly as intuitive and friendly. So bought this one and was able to do more than I expected. ### 3. If you want to make an excellent animated slideshow with professional-looking panning and zooming using little to no effort there is no better program. - The program directly integrates with the video recorder made by the same company making it exceptionally fast and straightforward to edit your video recordings on the fly and then send them onwards. - Contains a good library of inbuilt effects, music, transitions, text, and filters. - It's regularly updated and available from the Microsoft store (which means windows handle the updates for you, and you do not need installers). - It’s a one-time payment, and it is well worth it. **What do you dislike about Video Editor and Movie Maker?** No dislikes; the program is made for beginners and professionals who want a quick, professional outcome/result. You can edit contrast, saturation, brightness, crop, add text, add music, ect. its great. I use this to edit videos for work. I like that it is easy to download the finished video in different formats and at different file sizes/ picture resolution/ quality. I like that with the professional version, there are not watermarks left on the finished product and that I can submit this video without any thing covering part of my video. It was so easy to upload background music to the video and I liked that I could fade in and fade out the music. The text color options were great, and there were some pictures/ emojis available that really enhanced the final version of my video. **What do you dislike about Video Editor and Movie Maker?** I did have to pay for it but it was worth it. I wish I could also use this on my phone and tablet. I wish there were more songs/ sound options available to choose from. **Recommendations to others considering Video Editor and Movie Maker:** More sound options. More text font options. **What problems is Video Editor and Movie Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have to do a few videos for the online teaching that I do. This has helped a lot. As an independent contractor, it is important to make a good impression with clients. Professional looking videos helps me a lot with my self marketing and makes me look like a good online English teacher. I m able to add subtitles to my videos with helps attract attention from potential clients. ### 5. It is quick and easy, with only a few clicks, to add descriptive text and a sound overlay to your video - perfect for creating employee profiles or company content for Instagram and Facebook. One of my other favorite features is the ability to optimize your video for the device it will be most viewed on. For example you can select a 1:1 ratio to optimize the video for Instagram. **What do you dislike about Video Editor and Movie Maker?** The only thing that I dislike about Animotica is the inability to preview your video as in the format it will appear. To explain further: when creating content for Instagram I ran into an issue with the text being cut-off due to the inability to zoom out enough within the Instagram app. This resulted in having to recreate and test the video within the Instagram app multiple times and I am not a fan of wasting time in this way. **What problems is Video Editor and Movie Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Animotica allows me to add captions or extra tidbits of info to any video that requires it.
