## About Vertrauly
Vertrauly is a German tool that lets small and medium-sized businesses collect video testimonials from their customers. How it works: the business sends a link. The customer opens it on a phone, records a short video in about 30 seconds and explicitly consents to publication. The business reviews every video before it goes anywhere, so nothing is published unchecked. Approved videos can be embedded on the company website through a widget or shared through a dedicated testimonial page. Data protection is built in rather than bolted on. Consent under the GDPR is collected and documented at the moment of recording, withdrawal is possible at any time, and all data is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. No app and no camera equipment are needed, a phone and a browser are enough. Vertrauly is made for trades and crafts businesses, medical and therapy practices, studios, photographers, agencies and coaches who want to build trust without paying for a film crew.
