I have only been using Verito for about 3 months, but so far, it has worked great. No issues with speed of software which I was concerned about using a cloud based program. There haven't been too many problems with Verito. The only issue we have had in three months is a program froze up one time and we had a difficult time shutting it down. Verito offered this with their hosted desktop server option. While it may be a somewhat costly option, it was so great for our productivity and provided us with peace of mind. I also really appreciate the fact that Verito has truly invested in security to make sure no one accesses my information. There are times where low level support want's to "troubleshoot" before they believe the problems or issues I am having. This is rare but it does happen. They specifically work with accountants and their firms to make sure they provide you with the ultimate secure cloud based system. It will be an added cost, but it will be worth it. Also, when we decide to hire additional employees, we will not need to limit our search to local candidates. We will be able to hire any one from anywhere, and they can work from anywhere securely. Verito allows all of my preparers to login to our tax software from anywhere in the US, and on any device they own, without additional cost per device. We cut our tech support bill in half, and while they don't have onsite support like our prior local service, they are readily available at the support number and have resolved anything we ask in a timely manner, like mapping our google drives to our tax software etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Verito? There's a slight learning curve, like anything else, but when I've had issues, I just call, and it's quickly resolved. I would like the option to have tech support for a device for a limited time, as opposed to paying for the whole year, as the tax season is usually only a few months/year for us, but I understand if it's not economical for them to bill this way. Verito's customer service is by far the best out there. When you raise a ticket, you're receiving a response in minutes, not hours (or days). Their servers perform incredibly well, and the price is very reasonable for what you pay. I was able to quickly host UltraTax CS and other cloud apps without paying the ultra-premium pricing TR charges for a lower-quality service. Everything is smooth on the user front, and it took one phone call to get things implemented. If you've ever used a Remote Desktop connection and Duo... you're good to go. You pay a fair rate for your base installation, and if you need to install additional apps or add additional users, you pay for what you use. Very simple! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Verito solving and how is that benefiting you? I lead a virtual-first firm, and don't want to manage on-premises servers to get things done. Verito can spin up managed hosting environments quickly and at a very fair price. Their customer support is best-in-class, and it just works. You don't have to go through a tiny list of approved applications and hope your app is on there. You're not sharing your environment with dozens of other people, so the server performs well, even during the busy season. Plus, their team actually cares about your success. You won't find that with the "big names" in the space - although I'd argue Verito is becoming one of the big names without sacrificing this customer service in the process! Verito has great customer service and virtually zero downtime throughout the year, which is crucial. I like that they are reliable and that their updates are quick. Their pricing is lower than all competitors. We would never switch to another cloud-hosting platform because others are far more expensive, have worse customer service, and are prone to going down during heavy traffic times like tax season. I'm confused because Verito started charging me an additional $10 for 6 years of storage. Even after moving the last 3 years to my C-drive, I'm still being charged the extra $10. We use Drake tax, and the way the install is done everyone needs to be logged off in order to update the software. We finally got access to be able to remotely log people off if they forget to log off themselves, so that fixed the issue. It's more of a software limitation than the service itself.
